We do not purchase new ones for everyone, we only purchase for the newcomers. So please wear your shirt.

We will me moving back to 2 services beginning August 1st (This Sunday)

Service Times will be at 900AM and 1045AM.

So many children right here on Aquidneck Island have never heard the Good News of Jesus Christ and God’s love for them. They may never have the opportunity to attend a Bible believing church. We need to bring the Gospel to them! Did you know that children represent the LARGEST mission field in the world? Ongoing research shows that 85% of all commitments made to Christ occur between the ages of 4-13 years of age. We want to give the un-churched people in our community the opportunity to come to know Christ and grow strong with Him.

On Saturday July 31 from 2:00 – 6:00 pm, we will be giving the children and families a “Day in the Park”. Located at Miantonomi Park in Newport, the day will include MUSIC, FOOD, CRAFTS, GAMES, and every child will be given their own New Testament BIBLE.

We are in need of helpers to assist in one of the many activities offered that day. If you would like more information about this exciting opportunity to spread the Good News and love of Christ, please call EFC’s Children’s Ministries Director, 401-847-0131 or email efckids07@verizon.net

Our main reason for this is to accomodate for the Military families that will be leaving us during this time. We will be re-launching our second service on July 25th to make room for the returning and new families.

It was such an awesome experience to see Gods people put their faith in action and serve our community.

The response most people got was that of confusion.. wondering WHY “someone” would just give freely to them. It was truly an awesome testament of God’s Love lavished on us and a sobering experience of what we should be doing more of as a church.

Regarding the free car wash, it will be held on May 2, from 9—11am at Evangelical FriendsChurch, 70 Bliss Mine Rd. Middletown, RI.  No tipping or donations will be accepted.
