I took the personality profile test and they sent me and email that I wasn’t allowed to be on eharmony at all. I swear I filled it out correctly and honestly. I am faithful good and a decent person. So why do they pick some people to be on there but others are totally rejected?

I am a person with Asperger Syndrome and depression. It seemed pretty evident that I was rejected because I was honest and told them I was being treated for depression. I was very honest about how it was affecting me. I figured no one should date anyone who is not honest. Instead I was rejected for my honesty. I did not receive the Asperger diagnosis until well after I took the personality test. A lot of people on the autistic spectrum believe the personality test is unfair because it weeds out inconsistencies that are the domain of autism and eccentric personalities. I don’t know if my personality was a contributing factor to their rejection. Does anybody know if there is a hidden Emotional Intelligence test in the personality test? I recently only scored an 86 on such a test. Perhaps it’s a factor as to whether or not they reject people. The one thing I don’t understand is why after trying to sign in after five years, I still got rejected. Don’t they know people evolve and grow? People don’t always stay the same and we learn from our relationships. Lots of people live with depression and it is very treatable. I can see someone trying to take the test again after week and not being able to get in, but five years or more? I have an idea for e-harmony. I don’t know if it would fly. Tell people strait out why they were rejected, be it for depression, 3 marriages, an eccentric personality or whatever. Then tell the person if he or she really wants to be on the sight have these issues exposed in the profile. Be it autism, depression, schizophrenia bisexuality, a history of addiction or whatever it may be. If they say no it’s none of your business they get rejected. There just might be some out there who loves them just the way they are. Maybe it can be a separate service and call it e-harmony-eccentric. I think it would be great since many high-functioning autistics are trying to find each other. BTW, six months ago a met a really nice guy on plentyoffish. He has no problem with my depression and autism. He even laughed when I told him I was rejected by e-Harmony. The best part is I met him for FREE!

now having looked this over the best thing i can say about your survey,is it has merits.However it i agree with what was said before.This is not center on a us gays,now that is vary bad you just are trying too make money off us eHarmony think better on how it does surveys for gay people and your could show ads that do have gay people on them not man and women rememeber this is a gay site your runnig

I couldn’t agree more with “Idiot Closer”. I would have closed you out pretty quickly, and I had a few that seemed to be playing games like you and I did close them out. I received communication from a match early on a Friday morning, and by dinner time we were through all the questions and talking on the phone. We have now been dating almost three months. I liked him because he wasn’t playing games or going by some stupid “rule”.

JAN8DEAL code works for getting the $9.95/month for 3 months promotional deal if you are a new subscriber. It does not work if you are a returning member. I hung up and called back 3 times and was not able to get anyone to sign me up on that code under my returning user profile. However, I signed up for a new subscription using a different email address and a different credit card number. The website rejected the code but when I called, and told the girl on the phone that I wanted to use that promotional code, it went through with no problems.

I called 800-951-2023 and used the Jan8Deal and got shut down the first time I called. Some guy said it was expired. I hung up on him, called back, tried it again, and it worked like a charm the second time. I now have an account for only 9.95 a month.

I called customer service on 3/3 and gave them the “Jan8Deal” code. She asked where I got it, and I said I wasn’t sure, I had scribbled it down a while back, but it might have been e-mail or on a website.
She said it was still active for new members (which I am) and signed me up at the $9.95/month rate for 3 months.

As for the Rel filter, the system is set up to catch particular words if they are used repeatedly in your about me. If you don’t use any of those words, the system just goes by your preference settings and flexibility indicator for religion.
