Lori,
Yes.
Once a Match is Closed, they will never show up again in the “Who’s Viewed me”.
Thus, if they go and look at your Profile in their “Closed” tab, they will NOT show up in “Who’s Viewed me”.

Actually, I’d say be careful to review each page of any website from which you are purchasing something. Watch for the check boxes that subscribe you to magazines, newsletters, etc. I got caught in one myself just by checking out a website. I ended up with tons of email from companies I never heard of selling things I neither wanted nor needed.

There’s a check box on the subscription page that lets you opt out of the magazines. eH customer service reps do not have access to the magazine subscriptions, so if you don’t want them, it’s best to be extra careful when subscribing and opt out in the very beginning.

After closing a match, is this match then able to still view your profile and pictures without them showing up under the tab- “Who’s viewed me?

As another dimension, the e-Harmony 800 customer service will NOT remedy or cancel unwanted magazine subscriptions incurred by joining e-Harmony. Turns out when you join you are given the option of magazine subscriptions. If you do not select one, you will be sent one THEY pick out. I received Maxim, a sexually oriented men’s magazine I did not order and do not want. Neither Maxim not EHarmony were willing to cancel this subscription. That is, it is EHarmony’s policy for unwanted sexually oriented magazines to be sent to subscribers, then when you try to cancel they refer you to their “partner”, m2mags.com. My son now owes hundreds of dollars for unwanted magazines he has tried three times to cancel. EHarmony customer service rep Allison of Fargo, ND, claims a simple email to hordway@m2mags.com will cancel the subscription, but actually you may be in for a long and frustrating battle. Beware of E-Harmony!!!!

I like eH because I, and anyone else cannot do the manual perusal.

I also like eH because it “sort of” protects me from crazies. My pics only appear to a limited number of people at a limited time frame. The chances of that being discovered by enemies, crazy exes, etc. are low – compared to all the “fishing” sites.

I think adding okCupid’s multi-choice questions would help further enhance the match in eH.

match, plentyoffish, reelspark are.. less of a value unless you just want to ’sow your oats’. Then they are excellent resource.

I took the personality profile test and they sent me and email that I wasn’t allowed to be on eharmony at all. I swear I filled it out correctly and honestly. I am faithful good and a decent person. So why do they pick some people to be on there but others are totally rejected?

I am a person with Asperger Syndrome and depression. It seemed pretty evident that I was rejected because I was honest and told them I was being treated for depression. I was very honest about how it was affecting me. I figured no one should date anyone who is not honest. Instead I was rejected for my honesty. I did not receive the Asperger diagnosis until well after I took the personality test. A lot of people on the autistic spectrum believe the personality test is unfair because it weeds out inconsistencies that are the domain of autism and eccentric personalities. I don’t know if my personality was a contributing factor to their rejection. Does anybody know if there is a hidden Emotional Intelligence test in the personality test? I recently only scored an 86 on such a test. Perhaps it’s a factor as to whether or not they reject people. The one thing I don’t understand is why after trying to sign in after five years, I still got rejected. Don’t they know people evolve and grow? People don’t always stay the same and we learn from our relationships. Lots of people live with depression and it is very treatable. I can see someone trying to take the test again after week and not being able to get in, but five years or more? I have an idea for e-harmony. I don’t know if it would fly. Tell people strait out why they were rejected, be it for depression, 3 marriages, an eccentric personality or whatever. Then tell the person if he or she really wants to be on the sight have these issues exposed in the profile. Be it autism, depression, schizophrenia bisexuality, a history of addiction or whatever it may be. If they say no it’s none of your business they get rejected. There just might be some out there who loves them just the way they are. Maybe it can be a separate service and call it e-harmony-eccentric. I think it would be great since many high-functioning autistics are trying to find each other. BTW, six months ago a met a really nice guy on plentyoffish. He has no problem with my depression and autism. He even laughed when I told him I was rejected by e-Harmony. The best part is I met him for FREE!
