The commenter who stated it as a symptom or sign of hyperthyroidism could me correct. I was recently diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and hot feet or sensitivity to cold or hot is a sign!...

Toe dislocating (?) for no reason

Every month or two (sometimes more regularly - at its worst, twice in one week) in bed my right big toe, foot and leg start burning with excruciating pain. I can't move my big toe, and it goes slightly behind the other toes of my foot. Then there's a big lump sticking out of the left side of that toe where the base of the toe meets my foot. I can't walk on it and the pain spreads up my entire leg....

severe itching - reacuring watery blisters & more severe itc

I've been looking at this for a little while because I have the same thing going on. I assumed for the last several years that it was Athlete's foot, though the creams never really worked. I think that it is actually a skin disorder called Pompholyx. Research it a bit. It might be your problem too! I'm calling my doctor on Monday!...

Should I cut the skin from reoccurring blister?

The other day I was wearing thin socks and developed a blister on my foot from walking a short distance of 3km. I drained it, bandaged it, that was fine. Today when I was out shopping my feet were feeling sore again and it felt as if the blister was coming back again. It's slightly sore to walk on and the thick skin is really bugging me. Below is a picture. Should I remove the skin?

a temporary fix for Tarsal coalition pain?

I m a 22 year old female who was diagnosed with tarsal coalition, in my right foot only, about 5 months ago. I am putting off surgery because I can't afford to be out of work for more than a month right now. Is there any temporary fix I can do to subside the pain? I've used biofreeze, salonpas patches, and icing every night. I'm desperate. Help!...

recovery, can I ever get back to normal?

TatiannaMae,

So sorry you had this extensive of a problem.

The key thing at this point is to make sure that the soft tissues heal properly over the internal fixation and the infection is brought under control.

Once that has occured, and your fractures are completely healed, then you can start on physical therapy.

You are going to have to do a lot of therapy, and it is going to take a...
