When I first went in for the bladder infection it was because of pain on my right side, horrible heartburn which i have never had before and so nauseous that I couldn'...

I had my gallbladder removed last Thursday and I have bloating and pain way more than before surgery but I did have to fly for 4.5 hours after surgery which didn't help w the pain factor- having to sit upright.
My sickness, dizziness and shoulder/back pain has almost gone so that's great! Eating little and often (and I mean little amounts) really helps- also juices. Also I was told not to drink ...

Ejection fraction 9% - but no pain?

After six months of GI problems that was prevoiusly thought to be gastroparesis, I had a HIDA scan that came back with a 9% EF.

I'm told I have no gallstones. I have no abdominal pain whatsoever. I do have problems digesting food, burping, regurgitation, feeling generally yucky a lot and some very minor nausea here and there.

Isn't the lack of abdominal pain strange for that low of an eject...

Recovery Time Post Gallbladder Removal?

I know what you mean about the age thing. I am on the 17th day after surgery after having 3 kids, a hysterectomy, and mouth cancer surgery. I am still having lots of stomach pain, feeling weak and no appetite. The incisions are healing well. I am having lab test and ultrasound this week. Of course, maybe the fact that I turned 80 last month is the reason for all of this....

Gallbladder Disease Question

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
Since you have gastritis, and your scan results came back at 58%, it is possible that the gastric acid production is on higher side, and hence getting you started on and keeping you on long term medications will help to improve your symptoms and limit damage to the gastric mucosa. If you are worried, you may consider taking second opinion from another gastroenterol...

Could this be Gallbladder?

My 10-yr-old daughter has been experiencing upper abdominal pain on & off. Sometimes this pain is slicing, sometimes stabbing & sometimes she can't explain it... it just hurts! She has also had a low-grade fever on & off, between 99 - 100.7. These "attacks" sometimes seem to be related to food, but not always. Last week her pain was so bad we ended up at the ER twice. The first time we...
