Markak, Yes - he believed it was from overuse! I'd been in Florida and swam 4 days in a week when I normally only swim 1 day a week. He said the motion of my foot when kicking (when swimming) stretches the joint and must've been too much for it. Bleue, Thanks I appreciate it, I do have pain trust me but now it's managed without pain killers. Did your Dr say what he thinks is causing the inflammation? Thats good news also that yours has not collapsed! Pain after Trapeziectomy

I would like to ask something if I may, and I know I've asked a lot these last few weeks, but this process is all new to me and I just don't know what is "normal" and what isn't. Healing time for distal fracture of fibula

Hi, I am 41 and suffered a distal fracture to my fibula back on 4/6/13 walking my dog. A plate was put in using 6 screws and one to grab a chip from my Tibia. I am now 6 weeks post surgery and have been in a fiberglass cast. I have been on crutches for the past six weeks and return to my Dr. Next week. How much longer am I going to be out of work? I'm almost 7 years out at this point but had recently started having problems which the ankle specialist attributes to inflammation in the ankle joint. Gaelic, I dislocated my ankle March 2011, was told I have AVN of Talus. I have 4 surgeries 2(closed reduction didnt work so I had to have another open reduction), another to remove scar tissue and another to lengthen my achilles to gain movement in the ankle. hip pain.in 2008 after a c.session of my baby, 3months later i developed a severed deep pain at my buts bones, in a way that i couldn't even sit down, i was later sent in for MRI. and the result was i had a fracture inside and they cant conduct any surgery, that i will get back together with time. placed on pain meds, this awful pain went away until early last year this pain came back wt full for... click here to continue

have a leg pain and my pcp ordered for MRI and reffered to Neurosurgeon. I met him and Neuro surgeon mentioned me there is a disc bulge at L5 traversing nerve root and mentioned me he would like to treat the pain with epidural injections . If the injections doesn\'t work out , surgery is the last step. But he didn\'t go with 2 nd finding on my MRI . Can you please let me know What is meant... click here to continue

Medial Compartment Arthritis after Patellafemoral replacement

Sorry to hear that you're showing signs of OA in the medial compartment now. I believe that your hip pain may indeed be related compensatory pain. Had their been signs of medial involvement at the time of your patellofemoral Makoplasty they could have done both at the same time using the bot. Not sure if that's still an option?
