Yes - he believed it was from overuse!  I'd been in Florida and swam 4 days in a week when I normally only swim 1 day a week.  He said the motion of my foot when kicking (when swimming) stretches the joint and must've been too much for it.  Thing is, that was over 3 months ago so I thought it should've improved by now; instead it'd gotten worse even though I haven't 'overused' it since.

<title><![CDATA[Pain after Trapeziectomy]]></title>
<description>I would like to ask something if I may, and I know I've asked a lot these last few weeks, but this process is all new to me and I just don't know what is "normal" and what isn't. And given how busy my surgeon is, I don't want to bug him with questions.  So if you can tolerate me a bit longer I'd greatly appreciate it.

<title><![CDATA[Healing time for distal fracture of fibula]]></title>
<description>Hi,  I am 41 and suffered a distal fracture to my fibula back on 4/6/13 walking my dog. 
A plate was put in using 6 screws and one to grab a chip from my Tibia.
I am now 6 weeks post surgery and have been in a fiberglass cast. I have been on crutches for 
the past six weeks and return to my Dr. Next week. How much longer am I 
going to be out of work? I'm a cable technician and work on ladders...

Your post is encouraging to me about talus not collapsing after 2 years.  I'm almost 7 years out at this point but had recently started having problems which the ankle specialist attributes to inflammation in the ankle joint. I met him and Neuro surgeon mentioned me there is a disc bulge at L5 traversing nerve root and mentioned me he would like to treat the pain with epidural injections . If the injections doesn\'t work out , surgery is the last step. 

But he didn\'t go with 2 nd finding on my MRI .
