Anyone tried a "Chill Pad" to help you sleep cooler?

Hi - I've decided I need to get something to help me stay cooler when I sleep. I can't believe that after 8-9 years of being in menopause, I am still waking up several times a night feeling overheated. I am not having night sweats like I did early on, but I do wake up a bit sweaty just from being hot. Part of the problem is I have a Tempurpedic mattress. I didn't know before I bought it how ho...

I have had lots of tests to rule out anything sinister. i have seen a gynacologist who seemed bemused. She got advice elsewhere and came up with the idea that this was bladder related. She prescribed amyltrptiline. ...

Last 3 periods very light and brown, start of menopause?

Hello

I am 41 years old. I had two children during my 30's. A couple of years ago I had the contraceptive Jadelle implant put in my arm, which I had heard would reduce my monthly periods. Well, my periods pretty much stayed the same, very heavy and sore. But my last three periods have been so very light and brown and less 'grumpiness' than usual......well I think there's less, my husband disa...

50 yo and my ovaries are working overtime!

I am 50 and have no signs of either menopause or perimenopause. I'd actually like to get pregnant so I am hoping that my ovaries don't give out just yet. I look extremely young and still have great skin, etc. My biggest issue is severe hypoglycemia from bariatric surgery. Are there any other signs of perimenopause I should be aware of? So far, the ovaries aren't even thinking about retirement...
