infections from bacteria in water

To our great disgust, we just found seven VERY dead mice in our water softener. We have bypassed it and the plumber is coming to empty and sanitize it. Our concern right now is that we have been using water with decomposing mice in it for at least a few weeks, from the looks of it. Should we be tested for bacterial infections?...

Green tongue

My dad is a cancer patient with mets to brain and liver.

I noticed today Green tongue, I asked him to clean his tongue, it went off but when he took a cancer(lapatinib) pill the green color came back.

He is also facing difficulty in swallowing food and even tablets.

Plz suggest what is it and what should we do to treat it. Is it oral thrush?

Regards

Ravi...
