<title><![CDATA[GFR of 45.6 is normal kidney function? I don't think so!]]></title>
<description>My boyfriend had his doctor's appt today and his MD told him all his labs were fine, including kidney function, which was 'normal'.  He got a copy of his labs on the way out and his creatinine was 1.6 and GFR was 45.6. In 2011 GFR was 64.4 and in 2012 it was 58.2. Creatinine followed a similar trend, going from 1.2 to 1.3 from 2011-12. Unfortunately, he has no insurance, and only has the local VA ...
