It's been a while. Too long actually, since the last time I have anything to do with needles and threads. It just came to me again one day, and in one week I've collected myself a new bunch of materials for my handcrafting needs. I lost everything when I left Melbourne, so I have to buy everything from needles, to felt pieces, to threads and all stuff related. The first thing that came out from my test run....

Dun..dun..dun..ugly, but.. hey it's been awhile!

Happy Valentine's day everyone! Love it or hate it, this day visits us every year.

My Valentine's day usually consists of lazing around with my family. Or friends. Or both. So I'm not really fussed about having a Valentine for myself. I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family rather than having a lovey dovey outing.

So I was craving for a pot pie and I was too lazy to go out to face the public and the heat wave, so I decided to make my own at home. My brand new cute little ramekins finally put to use. Kelly came to help herself with some. So it was all good!

Anniversary? For What? I ain't married? Or anything related.

Well it's still an anniversary nonetheless, celebrating two years of great friendship that's filled with all the ups and the downs.

Last year, I made something to celebrate it even though that friend is almost all the way at the other end of the the world. So this year I didn't want to just not do anything. I wasn't planning for a cheesecake but the frozen raspberry in the freezer had been taking up the space and my mom was already making noise about it. So without much preparation of making a cheesecake, I made it anyways . It's not my usual measurement of ingredients, but it turned out just great even by eyeballing the amount of things that goes in. I just followed my instinct. It's not all that hard. Glad my instinct did not betray me hehe.
