Welcome Crazy Red Balls to the Neo Swing world! Their new single Moon Fly is dedicated to all astronauts out there. It starts with a legendary phrase by Neil Armstrong: “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” The first verse is borrowed from Jack London’s “Like Argus of the ancient times”. When band leader, composer and singer of the Crazy Red Balls, Vladimir Uspenskii, read this story as a teenager, he didn’t really understand who the Argonauts were. To be honest, he still doesn’t get it, so he imagined someone like astronauts… :)

The Honky Crew is an Electro Swing DJ and live musician producer duo from Budapest in Hungary. With electronic music roots from Ordiman as DJ and Laszlo Tamasi, who is a drummer and comes from the Rockabilly genre, you can see the Honky Crew also as live band on stage with guest musicians. The single “Can’t Stop” sets a new Neo Swing and Electro Swing milestone. It has a catchy vocal hook, a flowing saxophone line and the ragtime piano as a base, which has become a trademark of their productions. “Funiculi Funicula” is a Neapolitan song composed in 1880 by Luigi Denza to lyrics by Peppino Turco. It was written to commemorate the opening of the first funicular railway on Mount Vesuvius! Mr. Jazzek has re-produced it to a fresh Electro Swing banger, together with the singer Felipe Céspedes from Chile. The melody theme is well known and it brings the past to the present. Electro Swing Collabo Track

Vassili Gemini from France presented a great idea for a Collabo Track in which every musician and producer can participate. He has already recorded a guitar with chords and now anyone who wants can add and join. A great idea, we le like it a lot! Here is his input for the project!

“Hi !

Stay Home For Health & Future!

Millions of Italians have to stay at home because of the corona virus, but can still make music on balconies. From north to south, people stood at the same time with instruments or sang on their balconies or at the windows to sing songs against fear, loneliness and boredom in isolation!

The rest of Europe and many other countries around the world could also be close to being closed. Italy should therefore be a good example of not losing the joy of life, the courage and the hope. We can only survive the COVID-19 crisis together and be united with music!

Mr. Jazzek feat. Felipe Céspedes delivers his music video as #StayHome message with the emotional balcony scenes from Italy. The cover of “Funiculi Funicula”, an old Neapolitan song composed by Luigi Denza in 1880 to lyrics by Peppino Turco, will not be officially released until April 10th by Electro Swing Thing Records. But Mr. Jazzek, DJ, organizer and producer from Szczecin in Poland, would like to direct this appeal to everyone right now in such a situation. That’s why we would like spreat it to the world.
