I was asked to make a simple but elegant design in a monochrome theme and this is what i came up with, the luxurious satin ribbon wrapped around the invitation give an air of elegance and sets the whole invitation off. I love it, and so do the couple, i am making their entire wedding stationery and will post pictures as and when they are finished, i might even get some on the big day.

I love these, they're a little bit quirky and look great in vibrant colours, wrapped with a lush satin ribbon gives them a sumptuous look and feel.

I Love the softness of this wallet invitation, i teamed it up in a light green with some florishes and i think it goes very well.

Love Heart

This invitation is a little bit different, shaped as a love heart and connected using ribbon, it encorporates the wedding invitation, the reception information and the rsvp card for your guests to send back. ~It is a bit quirky, but i like it.

Coffee and cream

This is such a lovely design, i love the colours together, i used a linen weave card to cut out the butterfly design and printed a coffee coloured wording on it, inside i used a soft cream paper with the same wording to set it all off, i think it looks stunning.

Monochrome Invitation

Monochrome is so now, it is simple but so effective, i have seen a couple of monochrome weddings and they look simply amazing. I made a little wrap invitation with a damask print on the front and a white shimmer insert, the wording is quite fancy, but because the rest of the invitation is simple this works very well.

I love Polka dots

What is more pretty than a little girl in a polka dot skirt. I love the image that conjours up. I imagine a gorgeous summers day and that little girl spinning her skirt around in a field filled with daisys. Hehe, i just had to do something with polka dots. And here it is, i think it is as pretty as any little thing dressed in polka dots should be. A simple pocketfold invitations, lilac with a white inside, monogram on the front, and the wedding invitation and information cards look amazing together.

Simple elegance

These are so pretty, such a simple, elegant invitation. A gorgeous heart, with a lavender background paper, and stunning wording inside. I think they speak for themselves.

Boxed invitation

Boxed invitations are so stylish and classy, they are just so much more than an envelope, can you imagine recieving this through the post, all set out in it's box laid on tissue paper and wrapped with a ribbon. I think this is the idea wedding invitation, for me anyway. I used a lovely purple shimmer box and backgrounds for this, also the colour went so beautifully with a peacock feather i had to add that to the background paper for the wording. The background paper has small offset squares and a subtle shimmer to it. When the wording and peacock feather background is added to it, it sets it off beautifully.

The invitations could of course be used on their own.

I really enjoyed making this pocketfold invitation, it feels really lovely, it has a nice weight to it, the monogram looks beautiful, it's also so useful, you can put all of your wedding information in there, RSVP, hotel and taxi information, anything you want really. I backed this design with a gorgeous flourish, teamed with an elegant type font it just looks stunning. I love the matt effect, but this could also be done done pearlescent card of course. Backed onto a pearlised card, it sets this invitation off beautifully.

Pocket Invitation with embossed Wedding Invitation

I really love this design, i used a traditional red to place the background rose and wording onto. Layered onto a pearlised card background which easily slides into the pocket, easily removed by the organza tied ribbon at the top of the insert. This really is a classic design.

This invitation is made on white, slightly pearlised card, the ribbon is actually a cadburys purple colour, it slightly shimmers in the light. The inside coordinates with the outside, linking the date. It is accesorised by two crystals on the outline of the monogram. I really like this one, it just looks so pretty on its own. It doesnt need anything to jazz it up.

Wedding fever

I got wedding fever, during cabin fever, the terrible weather means that i had to stay in, and i got started on a lot of invitation designs. I love making these.
