Just a few snapshots from my short trip to Hot Springs last weekend for my friend’s wedding. The ceremony and venue were perfect, and it was wonderful to get away for a weekend with friends before I moved. (And that food? Seriously the best thing I ever ate. If you visit, you must stop by Rolando’s!)

Today I’m moving to Tulsa. To be honest, I never really loved Shreveport, but after living there eight years, it does feel a little strange to be leaving. I don’t think it has sunk in yet. I will miss my friends (a. lot.), but I’m excited to start something new, even if it means living with family for a little while.

I do believe everything happens for a reason, and I think I needed these years in Shreveport to learn how to be on my own and figure out who I am and what I want to do. I don’t know what’s next, but here’s to finding out!

Meet my latest style crush, Lynzy from Sparkling Footsteps! I’m always inspired by her bold choices and how she is constantly mixing up her style. So I was excited when she agreed to share some of her favorite outfits (the ones at the top — my favorites are below!) and tell us a little more about what inspires her style!

What influences your personal style?

I have never really stuck with one particular “style”. I may want a romantic and edgy look one day and then a classic laid back the next. I embrace all styles and I am always looking to try something new!

What are your favorite sources for inspiration?

Blogs have become one of my favorite sources for inspiration. I also love to create inspiration boards each month to help me create my outfits. I use store catalogs and magazines to create them. Oh, and of course Pinterest!

Who is your current style crush?

My current style crush? Now that is a tough one. I think I would go with Miroslava Duma. I am consistently inspired by her every day outfits — they seem to come together so perfectly!

Today I’m happy to introduce Lauren Malmquist and her adorable jewelry shop, Peerless Charm. I met her at the Business with Intention workshop in Chicago! Here’s a look at her life at the moment:

What are you crushing on?

STYLE // Floral! I bought a pair of floral shoes from Forever 21 last month, and I almost need a new pair already, because I am wearing them so much! I am also really loving floral pants. I am waiting for them to trickle down to a budget price point so I can nab a pair (what can I say? I am a college student.)
BEAUTY // My Omega 8000 Juicer! I know this is so not a beauty product, but it acts like one. A glass of juice a day has my nails looking awesome Slap on some polish, and I have a professional looking manicure.
HOME // PRINTS! I got the Jess LC Dream Bigger print, and now I want them all! I have also been trolling etsy, and there are so many good ones.

What are you dreaming about?

DESTINATION // I’ve always wanted to live in Australia, but it would also be so nice to even visit.
CURRENT GOAL // Get my jewelry in stores soon! I will be approaching shops as soon as I finish my new collection. Kind of scared, but really excited.

HER SHOP // I dabbled in making jewelry a lot of my life, but I really started making it all the time right after high school. I was heading to college in the fall with the intention to open my own boutique, and I thought I could sell my own jewelry in a small section of the shop. My jewelry making skills and passion have evolved quite a bit since then, and I realized in 2010 that I didn’t have to wait until college was over, and I opened my online shop. I love fashion and jewelry, and I love that through Peerless Charm I get to share my passion and talent with everyone! Right now I am working on a new collection called Classically Charming, which comes out May 21st. It features a lot of Swarovski Crystals and Pearls, but I am adding a unique (peerless!) twist of bulky chains and unique designs. I am also in the very beginning stages of the collection to follow that. This one will be pushing me further out of my comfort zone than I have been yet, and that is super exciting.
