It is mind blowing how our memories can come out in an event that never happened during our life but when awaken the dream has a meaning. This morning mine was a dream about everything that I have been writing about over the past month and a half regarding my previous employment.

An old school friend of mine, Linda is the name I will use, who is on my personal FaceBook account was in this dream. This is because a few weeks ago she reassured me after my discharge that the reason probably would not stick as long a hearing was requested and I am to go through with. In the dream she had an eighteen month old boy and we were going for cover because a flood was on the way, the Hudson River was actually going to flood over and we needed somewhere safe to go.

The place we chose to shield ourselves from the water was in the basement of 704 River Street, except in the dream the bottom floor was all glass windows that could be seen out of. Upon asking Linda if it was safe she said yes because we where inside and the water would be outside. When the flood finally came you could see the water rising above these windows that went all the way around the building we where in except the water was getting ready to rush in and when I asked her why the water was coming in anyways she responded that it was okay as long as our heads didn't go under we would be safe.

Linda than asked me to hold her child and keep him safe so that he wouldn't drown and agreeing we where trying to get higher in this underground tunnel except the water was coming in after all. The water was slowly rising and we were trying to get higher and higher while at the same time I was holding her son up as high as possible. My arms were getting tired and dropping down but I kept catching him and holding him over my head while we walked up this small hill made of a cement pathway and stood on our tipsy toes. Of course that is where I awoken because if not that the dream would have been forgotten.

What it meant was that the water was my unemployment hearing, the eighteen month old boy was other employees that had been wronged by this employer in the past and of course as mentioned earlier in the story my friend Linda is the one who reassured me. There is something that wants me to do right by those who did not put up a fight and are now stuck in a job like McDonalds or Pricechopper because the owner, Kurt, did what he could to run them out for reasons of greed.

Something that occurred to me is why Kurt does it the way he does and the timing. If he can runs an employee out before the end of the next calender year when he claims unclaimed unemployment that the employee paid out for the prior year, when that employee is denied or does not fight it he gets to keep it. First he has to get the employee to quit or be terminated for misconduct or anything else that is breaking the rules in terms of the company contract.

That means creating a situation that would make a female employee think that Kurt is attracted to her. This is done by accidentally sexually harassing by bumping into her from behind, in the dark, while having an erection. Later he would appear to be showing up afterwards when she is going to the ladies room or on her breaks so that it may appear as if he is interested. Than when she says or does something inappropriate that would be considered insubordination.

My fight is for those who did not know what to do about these types of situations and even if what was done cannot be proved at least if it does ever occur again that seed has been planted for future unprofessional, unfair treatment type of behaviours from Kurt or any other manager. A few times Kurt commented to me that he could easily discharge me and find a replacement. My thought is that New York State could also pull their contract and give it to a company that treats there employees with respect and dignity, not like a piece of crap because he owns the company.

If I where caught or even suspected of going into a courtroom and lying they would immediately throw the book at me. Although, somebody with a fat wallet can go into an unemployment hearing with false documents, knowingly that, an example is, the math solutions are intentionally incorrect and nothing happens. Nobody takes a second look at them because the Judge went to court for law not for math so why else would he doubt the businessman.

All records are lost in our legal system because it is so clogged up with court appearances, appeals and other issues. We can only have confidence that innocent parties that do catch such fraudulent issues will know how to correctly report the problem. This can will at least open the eyes of the legal system so that when an identical issue comes across their desk again they will take a better look at it.

When my previous employer, Kurt instructed the guy in the IT department, Josh, to fix the excel spreadsheet so that when the managers entered my numbers they would come out wrong than started producing these false production reports to me. The smart thing to do would have been to do was just quietly take them, let them discharge me for being unable to meet production requirements and than fought it. The look on his face would have been golden in the courtroom but since I had put so much faith and trust in this common criminal all that can be done now is hope that what was reported to the labor department is taken into account. Just sending copies of pay stubs that have tax errors, bad production reports that are charging for lunches and breaks and extra health insurance costs taken out is enough proof to show that this is a person that will do anything to break the law.

Yesterday when the date for the unemployment hearing came in the post mail listing the parties from FT who are to appear at the hearing, I knew that a subpeona for those not listed was going to be necessary. Knowing he reads this and by me stating who the three employees that are going to be requested to appear will stay hush. Although, Kurt probably knows who two of the three employees are, at least he probably has a good idea, the third one is going to be such a surprise.

It's such a struggle dealing with those feelings that have to be present while trying to get through this situation. Letting go of those old feelings of admiration, whatever the crazy reason as to why they are still there is confusing, and trying not to to cave in is difficult. Reminding myself over and over again about what Kurt does to his employees out of greed and who he really is helps me to feel stable minded about the situation.

That rapacious feeling inside is not pleasant and wondering how Kurt lives every day with personality trait is a mystery. Personally feeling that way as of late, when I see myself in the mirror it is not attractive and it gives me somewhat of an idea as to how Kurt sees himself when he looks in the mirror. Reminding myself, I am strong, intelligent and beautiful inside helps because in less than two weeks facing my enemies is a big deal.

One time my sister Anne was telling me that two of our sisters, Ruth and Susan were going out to dinner. My comment was, "to the Sushi restaurant in Albany?" Anne than, completely freaked out, said that she could swear I was listening to the telephone call she had with Susan just a few minutes prior to our conversation. Explaining to Anne that it was just a common sense thing, Ruth was always telling talking about this wonderful Japanese Restaurant in Albany that we had to try out, Susan loves Sushi so it was just a simple thing to just put two and two together.

Some people who are not familiar with the correct medical term, Amblyopia, use the word "lazy eye" which is commonly but incorrectly used most of the time. What this actually means is that my right side of my brain that tells my left eye to go and the left side of my brain that tells my right eye to go is not working at the same time the way it does for most people. So the left eye works only when covering up the right eye, yet, the vision is very weak because of astigmatism. Some treatments entail patching the good eye to get the bad eye to work but because of my astigmatism this did not work so cosmetic surgery was performed a the age of fourteen.

To make up for this disability my hearing is immaculate as well as my memory for sounds and smells. one example is, while putting a Ethernet into a computer I may drop the screw but can hear where it landed and rolled and can nine-five percent of the time find it, pick it up and go back to fixing the PC. Another example is upon hearing a voice just a few times will stay in my memory bank and all that person has to do is speak over the phone to me and if it is important on listening intently, I will go through my memory of voices to try to familiarize where their voice was heard at another time.

An incident like this happened recently when somebody called me at home and pretended to be somebody they really weren't. After a few hours of going over where I could have heard that male voice over the last few months it finally came to me. Also, the fact that his business partner posted a picture of him on twitter later that night helped a great deal.

Admittedly at times it is tempting to abuse this little technique of mine by screwing with people but it also is just another way of personal protection. So few people may think #IamStalking them, others will think #IamPsychic and another small handful will say #IamObservant. It is simply being observant, no there are no stalking issues going on and if being observant and psychic fall under the same category than now you know how the psychics do it.

sometimes just writing it out is the medicine needed to that
#youcanlaugh again.

This previous post about #Iwillneverforget my run in with sexual harassment
was
difficult to write and I almost did not complete the post a few times
with the emotions that consumed me. Now that it is complete I feel much
better, like a weight has just been lifted off of me. Although unsure
if it was the smartest thing to do it made for an interesting topic even
if names were changed to protect others, also, so nobody would try to
sue the pants off of me.

#youcanlaugh at a #tragedy

Last
night a burst of giggles consumed me thinking about the part entered in
the post about how Kurt had my hand brush against his genitals while
reaching in front of me to tap another female employee on the shoulder.
A fantasy of former co-workers, sitting together during break time in
their cars, reading the post on one of their iPhones consumed in
hysterics over that line, as well as the thought of them picturing him
as a pervert, just made me laugh. The next part of the daydream is that
after the former co-workers return from their break, every time they
hear or see Kurt a few of them snicker. One last thing that makes me smile is this thought that Lisa, the woman contracted at FT through the Employee Assistant Program, is reading that post and even though I am no longer employed there any more, if any other female comes to her with this same story the possibility that it is true will stick better.

Of course it is
not funny what happened and should be considered inappropriate, but the
vision was funny enough and it was a way of getting through a tough
situation for myself. Next returned the anger at how Kurt planned it so
well that it made me realise that it probably was not the first, nor
would it be the last, time that he did something like this to an
employee he knew was attracted to him. Each day, or even from one hour
to the next, of how my feelings over the incident at the haunted hay
ride effected me. Today that feeling of animosity at Kurt and how he
abuses his power at being a boss and company owner is overwhelming at
this very moment. Just thinking of something funny is a struggle to get
through the rest of this day.

People who are disgustingly rich most of the time got that way by being dishonest and how this seems possible is so confusing. How is it that somebody can do horrible things and become rich while another individual will be honest while trying to make ends meet. Occasionally I will ponder over the thought that the likelihood that a rich person started out with good intentions and than the lure of more money by doing hurtful things to others was overpowering and they went the wrong way.

They say the person who isn't doing things to hurt others to get ahead in life is the happiest while the one who is evil does not sleep well at night and feels no real love for themselves or their family. Personally taking this into account, sleeping at night and feeling loved and being able to love back has a more attractive quality but getting hurt by those who thinks pain is the only way to live life makes me so angry. Than after sitting back and thinking about how their life must be compared to my own, there is a pang of pity for them that reminds me that I am a human being.

Lets take companies into account that owns offshore stocks and promotes child labor in a country like China. These company owners can also be considered a philanthropist because they are actually doing charity. Are they really bad or are we not really taking a good looking at the entire situation when it comes to allowing ten year old to work in a factory. One side says that it is terrible and the company is allowing children to be abused while the other side is saying if they did not open a factory in China in the first place many of these children's families would go hungry and this at least gives them an opportunity to put food on their tables.

These companies are the richest and they also donate the most amount of money to different charities. A few well known philanthropists that we are familiar with are, Microsoft, Verizon and Google. When we call for technical support we usually get a person from India answering the phone and if we look at how far India has come since companies have been opening factories over there.

Out of those three companies the research show that the ones that offer free services and give the most for a good cause are the most successful and in order those are, Microsoft, Google than Verizon. Most of us see Verizon slowly dwindling away and turning their stocks over to the larger companies because they actually offer the least amount of free items. Google gives away the most, search engine, google docs and creating free websites that can earn you income and we probably can agree that the comment "I Googled It" is used more than the phrase "I Love You" in almost household all over the world.

So are these companies all bad? Who do you think is the biggest philanthropist:

A business man that loudly gives money to a good cause for his own profit but steals from that same cause

- or -

A company that quietly opens a factory overseas that allows children to work for eight cents a day so that they can feed their families?

It's that kind of love so many of us look for, than we think it finally has been discovered and end up with a broken heart but we keep breathing another breath of life.

There were a few times that I fell deeply in love with somebody, two times to be exact. I never really loved my husband, Mark, that relationship was just something to fill a void. At the age of nineteen, like any starry eyed young woman, a wedding and having a child seemed so wonderful at the time. The real love would come later, when he started getting mentally better and he stopped using drugs. My husband was and is a good man, just lost and confused but after our son was born that possibility became something I could not wait for to happen anymore now that there was another life to be responsible for.

The next life move taken, a domestic live in with Frank, was just another bad decision and it took me three years to realize it before leaving that relationship. I thought Joe was the one, for whatever reason but he wasn't that much different than my husband, the dependency on drugs and alcohol where the same. It just took it's course in two separate personalities, they both are from different backgrounds and born during different decades. After two and a half years with Frank we tried Alcoholics Anonymous together, although he just was not ready and neither was I was my discovery a few short months after we went our separate ways.

In AA is where a very short affair started with a much older man, O'Neil, not a handsome man but he seemed sweet enough. We shared his apartment together in less than two months after we met and it was a disaster. Eight months later we split up and my older and I were sharing an apartment. For a few years I stayed out of the dating scene, had a few flings here and there but nothing that could be serious. After getting my own apartment for the first time in my entire life is when things started to change. At that point my drinking hadn't really picked up yet but was still waiting in the showed for me.

In nineteen ninety-nine is when Adel walked into my life and our addiction over drugs and alcohol bonded as tightly as our friendship did. It was the most dysfunctional relationship and it lasted for eleven years. We fought, we made up, we were best friends and business associates. Even today we are still good friends and I do still help him out in any way possible when it comes to his small business issues, as well as his personal family issues. Adel was probably the one man my heart went out for more than any other man in my life. It still does and whenever something major happens, if he is in his country visiting I will call his brother and notify him of anything that might damage their business.

This last time, even though there was no relationship it hurt me the most. It was because this man, Kurt, fooled me so severely that it really hurt and yes my big ole pride was damaged. Kurt was the owner of the company I worked for and knowing he was married still didn't stop me from having a wild crush on him, like so many other female employees did. He had a way with words, funny, smart and successful. All he had to do was toss a few bucks around for a good cause and he hired people with not so great backgrounds, gave them another chance at life in the business world.

Who wouldn't fall in love with somebody like that, especially since it isn't often that men like that are so rare. Kurt would get this look on his face when I would admire him, he loved that look and it made his ego blow up bigger than a balloon at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. The discovery of who he really was is what hurt the most and what other employees told me that I couldn't accept at the time as the truth was what made those hurt feelings worse.

It turned out that he used all of those things to lure you in and than it turned out Kurt was really manipulative, uncaring and selfish. One time Kurt told me that he owned his employees, that much was figured out when the one of the free T-shirts for a trip to the Great Escape said "owned by Famous Techniques" across the chest. Kurt played with employees emotions by promoting them and than demoting them without a reason. He would stop talking to them and ignore them as if they where a piece of dirt after befriending them for months, all this to make them try to quit. This was done with employees that started costing him more money as an employee than it did for him to earn money.

When Kurt demoted me from being a receptionist, with no real explanation. The managers told me it was because I was good at my job and was needed for data entry. One manager, Rachel told me that since they moved me in the back my work went up, which was obvious since the number of documents showing on the bottom of the computer screen said as much. Doing what everybody said to do, working hard and just being grateful to have a job

Sometimes he would show up during my lunch and break times or when I would go to the bathroom. There was even times Kurt would show up when during my menstrual cycle, which turned out was just a ploy to make it seem as if my more frequent restroom visits was because he was there. You are probably wondering how he knew it was my time to menstrate, this was because the company policy was no purses at our work station. This meant that during a woman's menstration she had to go and get her purse before using the restroom.

Kurt even went as far as telling the company he has a contract through that our
production dropped and the ones who were doing so well previously must
be taking extra breaks. Eventually figuring out that this could be just how Kurt wanted it to look, I changed my schedule. This seemed to work out until one day, doing more work than any other day, the first box produced had to be rescanned because of deleted images and than the mangers told me they got a call for me to go to one of the other offices. Working at the other office for about a week we had our usual, after work hours, monthly work function, this time a haunted hayride for the Halloween season. After work we had pizza in the break room and the entire time Kurt ignored me so brushing it off my girlfriends and I stuck together for the night.

Once we had completed the hayride portion of the trip next was the walk through of the haunted houses and mazes. This was the first time Kurt actually sexually harassed me, hands on. Take into account that my crush was pretty big, of course complaining about it wasn't going to happen but why it happened is what was confusing. Months prior to the incident at the hay ride, I was also guilty of saying and doing things inappropriate as well.

Kurt did it in a way that made it look like an accident by bumping into me from behind in one of the darker mazes of the walk through at the hay ride. The thing is, he did it twice, the second time pressing himself against my derrière so hard that I was forced to take a few steps. Next he reached in front of me to tap another female employee on the shoulder and while doing so his hand brushed against my derrière while my own hand brushed against his genitals. In another part of the maze he pretended he was startled by one of the
acts, threw his hands up, yelled and when he turned around he hit my breasts, apologized profusly and my comment was, "it's okay, I don't mind". During the rest of the trip Kurt continued to ignore me, except to say goodbye with a hug that I asked for as usual.

When I did not respond to the incident by following him around like a love sick girl or running to the Employee Assistant Program with complaints of sexual harassment, that is when a few weeks later came the fake production reports. In one email correspondence Kurt even told me that the move was because of production drop. They even went as far as to try to convince me and everybody else that I was distracted and that was why my work was so low. When looking at the production reports showed that they were false and I addressed it, Kurt started talking to me as if I where a unintelligent, paranoid dipshit of a woman who had no business complaining about it.

At the Christmas party is when it was discovered that the work presented at the first office was counted by box not by documents and that the number of documents done went up but the boxes went down because the company managers were instructed to give several employees, including myself, the same amount of work in less boxes to make it look as if our production dropped. The weekend following the Christmas party I emailed Kurt asking about the production at the first office and even expressed how unhappy I was feeling at they way the company was treating me as a person, that is when he discharged me.

Yesterday after meeting with the lawyer I let myself get a bit discouraged but than after going over things in my head on how to present myself at the unemployment hearing things started to look up. Earlier unemployment told me they received my hearing request and it was sent to the administrative judge. They finally got it on January 19th after it was mailed on the tenth and than faxed on the sixteenth, although, hearing that did make me feel much better.

Going over the company handbook makes me so upset because the fact that my previous employer told me the emails were inappropriate when in fact the handbook clearly states that how I approached particular matters was handled appropriately. The fact that the employer told me that employees never got to see their production report at the first office and that by me asking was inappropriate. Yet, the handbook outlines that if an employee wishes to review their personnel file they must ask in writing five days ahead of time to review during company business hours.

This does sound a bit fishy though, almost as if this gives them time to add or remove anything they do not wish to let you see before you review your file. Can anybody really blame me for feeling so mistrustful over this after being given production reports that were, probably, to appear to look as if their were problems when really there wasn't. It just is so frustrating that somebody can say a person is distracted and that distraction is effecting their work performance when it isn't and never was.

Last week reading over the handbook brought on a great deal of anger and agitation but reading it over for a second time this week was more encouraging. The fact that somebody, who probably sat in and approved the writing of the employee handbook, thinks it is perfectly okay to treat somebody badly over they way they deliver a professional problem, to the owner of the company, exactly the way the handbook says to do so is most disturbing. Despite the fact of the entire situation, how the evidence is introduced at my unemployment hearing is what is important.

So I beg of you who has read this post to leave comments of encouragement to me. It is really needed and those days where that feeling a great deal of anguish over the aspect of how the hearing will turnout can be eliminated. So than when I go back over those encouraging comments, it will help to put me in better spirits.

Thank You in advance.

Tomorrow is the day that I am supposed to, according to the Labor Department's policy, submit that form showing that my income for the first three quarts of 2011 was higher than what was reported. A represtenative on the phone told me it did not matter because I was denied but because I am requesting a hearing it still seems iffy, although the lawyer can at least shed some light on the situation. When you are dealing with a company that has a contract with the same state department that turned you down for unemployment you get worried so getting a lawyer makes me feel much better about the entire thing. When I was let go of my position at the Health Department the unemployment was approved because it was not a reason of misconduct, just another case of office politics. So if that went okay there shouldn't be a problem with some small company that has only a contract with the state not an actual state agency.

In 2005 a friend of mine, Adel Abuzaid, ran into some trouble with the New York State Taxation and Finance. Adel, along with twenty other men, was accused of buying cigarettes and not reporting it to the tax department, article from Jihad Watch about 20 suspect in tobacco ring. The incident happened during the year of 2005 and of course the accusations were false because they still had until April 27, 2006 to file their tax returns for the purchase they made of the cigarettes during the year of 2005.

The NYS police and local police from the cities, that the business were located, raided these twenty small business owners newsstands scattered around New York and their living quarters, booked them and jailed them before they could contact a lawyer and held them for six days during Ramadan. When they raided the premises, it was, claimed, for the purpose that these men were doing it so that they could raise money for smuggling to Al-quadi.

The real story is that these twenty middle eastern men, nineteen from Yemen and one from Germany, came to trust a man from Sudan who began to sell them NYS stamped cigarettes. They each bought several cartons of cigarettes from him throughout 2005, the one who bought the most was charged to pay a quarter million dollars and the least was ninety thousand dollars, which was my friend. After doing a quick search on Hashim Mohammed, who they were dealing with, I discovered that he was originally arrested for possession of marijuana with the intent to sell. They made a deal with him to help them with this "So called Sting Operation".

After researching and speaking with a tax lawyer, I urged Adel to work with the lawyer. Adel was hesitant at first but finally agreed and after five years of fighting all charges were dropped, click here view Case 1:08-cv-01213-LEK-RFT Document 53 Filed 02/19/10. I knew that if he tried to fight this without a lawyer that the outcome would not have been so successful. This case was just another example of the government trying to get more money, close down these business and use 9/11 as an excuse.

After everything was finished with the legal issues, NYS taxation and finance was ordered to return monies that was taken from the gentleman's business bank accounts. Except for Adel, everybody was given back their money. It took awhile for them to give Adel back his money, assuming that NYS taxation and finance was pretty upset over the fact that he put up a fight and won.

Today whenever I have to deal with the government about legal issues the paranoia immediate kicks in. After working years in offices, mostly state, the knowledge of what is done is there. Since getting denied for unemployment and than being told on the phone that my letter requesting a hearing was not received after being mailed a week ago, my suspicions automatically go in full gear. My previous employer has contacts and strings with different state agency, including the labor department makes me nervous, which is exactly why talking with a lawyer and going to the unemployment hearing with one is a good idea.

Once my completion at the Educational Opportunity Center to earn a certificate as a Medical Information Processing Specialist, it was so that life could be easier and better for my son and I. Being young and ignorant I made many mistakes and know that today. After going from office job to office job at first the thought of just doing a simple job as a cashier in a department store or even maybe some labor work in a factory would suffice. Because of the years of education experience and hands on in the corporate world places like Stewarts and Sealy Mattress just looked at my credentials and pushed them aside.

Now here it is fifteen plus years later and the economy is bad so I take the suggestion of friends and family and go back to applying for office positions. Quickly something turned up and I was back behind the computer three days after the interview. This time was going to be different, my son is now grown, my life has taken a different turn and I was going to work on my career so that when retirement rolled around life would be enjoyable. At first happiness was right there at my fingertips, work was good and life was finally coming together until one day it just came crashing down around me.

Back in July when I came into work as usual they told me that for a little while somebody else was going to do the reception area, being told that it was nothing I did and that my work was fine that my skills were needed for typing. Making the best of it and working even harder that distinctive feeling that something was just off still lingered. Strange things at work started to happen and the harder I worked the stranger it got. A few times I asked the managers if everything was okay and was told it was but still unconvinced, working harder and producing more work the feelings were not getting any better. In the second week of October when they moved me to the other office and told me it was my production dropped, even though the necessary procedures were never addressed when somebody production dropped at the company my feelings were confirmed, something was off and nobody was admitting to it.

Over the weekend while going over the pay stubs from the last nine months, the unemployment determination and the company handbook it all came together. It was nothing I did that was legally rectified in terminating an employee for but the possibility that money issues was a problem and the company my be looking at debts that has nothing to do with any of the employees who are being wrongfully punished. Also, it came to my attention that the health insurance was supposed to cover me two weeks past the end of my last pay period or should have never been deducted from my last paycheck.

A friend said maybe it was a mistake, yet, there are three known, documented errors, that is just one too many mistakes made. Three questionable mistakes just looks more questionable than erroneous.

What makes a person ponder is the people who think this type of behaviour is acceptable. Does somebody with money who takes from those fortunate know it is wrong? Do they feel any remorse, what goes through their mind and how do they look in the mirror and accept the reflection looking back at them?

Last evening, walking to a meeting, some things dawned on me when it came to my health insurance from my previous employer. Maybe somebody can shed some light on the situation because this is what is baffling me. If my health insurance kicked in on October 1st, the deductions were taken out from September 17 - December 23, although, I was covered from October 1 - December 23 does it seem that I was over charged? According to my calculations the coverage should have carried two weeks after December 23 or the deduction should have started on the pay period of October 1st - October 14. That means payment was paid for six pay periods but coverage only lasted for four.

Also, while going over what the Unemployment's determination says and the earnings of my past paychecks total just does not make sense. Monday I will call unemployment to see where they got those calculations from, they have a form on their website to request a reconsideration, just my luck, it has to be sent in before the twentieth to be received by the twentieth. It probably is a good idea to also call the lawyer about my upcoming meeting and see if these issues need to be addressed, along with a few other ones.

My ego is a bit hurt over the situation, really, did my last employer actually believe that I was so unintelligent hat it would never be figured out? Maybe because he is so used to dealing with, as well as making a point of hiring, people that are not very bright that he just went the wrong way in dealing with me. The other day an ex co-worker posted on their Facebook something that just was not witty and the first thought was, "they are in management", sorry, that was so uncalled for.

At least everything needed is pulled together for the appointment with the lawyer. At one time I would have been scrambling all over the place looking for this and that.

"When do we have to sit back and think about that? How honest are we and when are we dishonest is the question. Where does a person draw the line between good and bad is a tough concept to look at but if you can, that makes you the better person".

While still active in my drug and alcohol addiction, honesty was important, although, it was practiced correctly. Thinking that working in my boyfriends grocery not stealing from him and making sure not to rip off the customers made a good person. What I did not look at was what lengths it took to support my habit. A few years ago I used to make bootleg movies and sell them on the streets or through friends businesses. It was good money, even if it was being spent on drugs. At one point, during unemployment, stealing the DVDs began. I would lift them, make the movie and resell them. At the time, convinced that it would stop and the money would be used to start purchasing them, it didn't happen. To make amends for what was done, now whenever possible I donate
anonymously to one of the causes that these merchants offer. When they
ask if I would like to give a dollar for breast cancer or one of those
other organizations and just sign anonymous or the merchants name to the
four leaf paper clover.

Sure you may think this is horrible but if you look at what you have done in the past that was dishonest you will realize that you aren't any better than me. Take in account a business owner that hires mostly people on public assistance or disability. We know that the company gets a tax break, yet, if he fires the one who is ineligible for government benefits after a period of time because of their income and they need health insurance, that the company offers.

When is he a good person or was he ever generous? Does giving somebody a chance because it makes him "look" good mean he is really a kind person? Do you think a person who gives a woman with a disability a job for his own personal profit a good person? What are your thoughts or comments on this subject?
Share your own experience and comments below, I would love to hear from you.

After some searching the net I finally found a site where I can redo my social networking sharing buttons. Now that google has it's own social network, something like facebook, it was obvious that a +1 button was needed. Now the buttons are at the bottom of my blog post, hopefully this will get me more reactions than at the top. Most people will read a post and not scroll back to the top to retweet, +1 or like it.

On the left you can see that there is now a twitter follow me icon and at the top is a page counter, some new features that Google added since I last blogged. Later I will add to my Elizabeth's Wiki Blog on how to add the buttons to your blog the way they are at the bottom of this post. That blog is also updated as well with a new layout that was offered by Google's Blogger Templates. It looks so much neater and my Facebook Login Button is working there now. If some of you are having problems with the button working and are not great with html coding, it probably would be a good idea to just reset your blog layout to clear out all of that code that you cannot remember where or what you added over a year ago.

The other day while preparing to meet with a lawyer about my hearing with Unemployment, I was looking over the production reports presented over the twenty-four weeks that I was at the new location of my previous employer. You have heard about how people have the same type of routine when they make mistakes, such as, a thief might prefer to rob 7-elevens or a serial killer targets specific profiles of their victims. How the errors where done is still a mystery to me but now it is obvious that the manager who gave me the report had no idea at the time.

Anyways, the discovery was that the errors do have something in common and the only solution as to how it was decided to enter the mistakes is that the numbers were just put in randomly, because, there just is no other sensible mathematical solution. On the days my work flow was lower was how they figured making the percentages less, this way when looking at the spreadsheet at a glance, you would not notice the mistakes. The days I worked more hours but did less work was the days that they made my production look lower than it really was. This just makes me think that the days my work was lower was because:

A. They gave me a higher volume of work so that I could not meet my production goal
B. Somebody subtracted the amount of work actually done to make it look lower than it really was

Both A and B are a probable because one day I kept track of how much was done and it was much higher than what was given to me the following week. Also, there were days that I was given a higher amount of work that could not be done to meet the production and I knew it. The knowledge that they weren't wasn't the only one came to me once they knew they were not dealing with another dumb broad.

It took half of the night and, finally, the Facebook login button works. Really being annoyed with myself after going through all the frustration of trying to get the Facebook Login Button to work with my google blog. All I had to simply do was just be patient and wait for the servers to update so that the button would work, as you can see from the left, it works!

I'm happy to be blogging again and even happier that it is much better to do from a cell phone via emailing posts to my google blog. Now when I get the urge to write something, instead of bugging somebody with an email I can bug my Google blog with an email/post. If you are interested in adding a facebook login button to your own Google Blog, click here for three easy steps.
After being up until four in the morning redoing my blog, this afternoon I made some new changes to the background. The flower on the left is my logo, for now, probably will change it but am trying to think of something of my own to create from scratch.

Also went to no-ip and updated my free redirects, so now http://moneyblog.hopto.org and http://myhowtogoogle.serveblog.net is active again. The http://hottopics.hopto.org that redirects to this site never expired, probably because this site actually was visited the most and it keeps the free advertising for them going. Now all that is needed is to add the FaceBook Login Button, hopefully that works better than it did a few years ago on blogger. Click here to read an article I did on how to integrate a FaceBook login button on a Google Blog. FaceBook has some new features in networked blogs and with Google social network the +1 button is great for getting people to visit my site by one upping their sites on google

There are hundreds of posts on this blog that I was debating on getting rid of and for some reason I cared so much about in 09' and 10' that doesn't matter so much now. People seem to keep coming here to read it though, so I may as well keep it since it has kept the site going all this time I have been inactively using it.

Tonight I just linked my Blackberry to post to this blog. Since owning this blog but not posting for quite some time, I decided to give it a go.

Since there is a Google Adsense account in place with my several BLOGS, I thought, why not start making money with FaceBook and post comment to my BLOGS and than let BLOGGER post them to FaceBook using good old TwitterFeed. (Click here to read about twitterfeed)

I love posting on facebook how my day is going or simply how I am feeling using my own personal quotes and what better place to do it.

I worked for a company that offered health insurance and because the company ran solely on state based contracts the owner did not have much of a choice on how the insurance premiums were offered. Did he treat those employees fairly when they opted into the company health insurance?

Two weeks after my health insurance kicked I was moved to another officer for having low production. Knowing how I worked and the amount of work that was given to me and produced daily, I knew this was false. The managers and owner would do things to make that employee look bad, fake their production, get them written up for the company rules that were more than easy to break. Some of the company rules were as follows:

No talking while working, it is all about production.

No cell phones on your person while in the office, because of confidentiality rules.

No crocks, somebody at one time had bad foot odour so they made a rule, no open toe or heel shoes. This wasn't a safety issue either since dress shoes were just fine, just nothing with open toe or heel.

Who were usually reprimanded for these rules? The ones who either opted into the health insurance or the ones that applied for worker's compensation. If they did not break these rules than suddenly they were demoted from being a manager because their production dropped or their production just was low.

If an employee was written up three times for talking you were terminated and than you had to fight unemployment insurance benefits. The company actually wrote me up one time for asking the guy if he owned a pet skunk. They claimed I was accusing him of having bad body odour, when in fact, he smelled like marijuana. After notifying the supervisors and the owner in detailed writing of the incident, date and time, the employee still smelled of marijuana, was never investigated and I was written up.

Is Employer-Based Health Insurance Worth Saving?

The second time I was written up was after they gave me a bad production report, for the third time, after I spoke with the owner and notified him in writing that the report was wrong. It was obvious the production report was wrong, especially since my educational background in excel and Mathematics rose a red flag. The way the production report was presented to me was clearly falsified not just a common accident in how the Mathematics and formulas were entered into the spreadsheet. I talked with the manager and jokingly said don't "F" with smart people and than he laughed and walked away. Finally after confronting the owner about the accusation of my production being low at the other office when I found out why it was made to look low and that I did not get a raise because of this he terminated me. The reason being because I made a comment in an email that after working hard and not getting recognised for it that "F" it feeling of not wanting to come to work was getting to strong.

Being an employee that only called in once and left early twice in the entire nine months I was employed there, my "behaviour problems and production problems" did not begin until two weeks after my health insurance kicked in. When I sat down at actually looked at how my production was given to me I noticed that on the days that my expectations were higher the percentage of each mathematical errors where higher.

Is this fairness? Who is really suffering? What can a single adult or an adult with children that makes to much money to be eligible for Medicaid do? Read why companies are upset with health insurance premiums and who do you think is suffering the most from this type of fraud, the employees or our economy?

<a href="http://www.causes.com/causes/468903-stop-all-registered-sex-offenders-from-being-on-facebook"target="new">Keep Registered Sex offenders off FaceBook

Is this possible, can registered sex offenders actually be kept off FaceBook and if so, how?

After giving this a great deal of thought, what made the most sense was not this cause, because just saying Poof, registered sex offender, you are now off FaceBook. Why you ask, well did you have to show proof of who you where when you created your FaceBook Account? What about your teens and young children? What proof did they have to show when they created their account on FaceBook?

So how do we keep registered sex offenders off the internet, especially the pedophiles? First, there needs to be a law in place that automatically stops registered sex offenders, when they are charged, from being allowed to have an internet account in there name. Such a law in place would eliminate the possibility of a sex offender from getting online, not completely but it would be a stepping stone towards some type of accomplishment.

Another thing that we need to keep in mind is how do we protect our children on these sites? Our children have access to so many social networks that allow a child under the age of fifteen to get on without any proof that they are actually a child at all. How many child pedophiles are on FaceBook at this moment while you read this article?

How about forcing the social networks to automatically want credit card information and MSN does have such a thing in place. As soon as you enter your birth date, if you are thirteen years of age or younger, they want your parents credit card information. The site than takes a dollar off the credit card than puts it right back on, just to make sure if you aren't who you say you are, they can find you much easier. This would make it so much easier for law enforcement to track criminals before they can go any farther on the Internet.

The Internet is such a big scary place, one that makes it easier for sex crimes to happen behind closed door, without anybody knowing who, or where they are.

What cause do make sense to me, here are some that you can join now:

<a href="http://www.causes.com/causes/1687-keep-sex-offenders-off-the-internet"target="new">Keep sex offenders off the internet

This is my own personal cause that I just recently created. Please support the cause!
<a href="http://apps.facebook.com/causes/bulletins/new?cause_id=593735&cta_type=invite"target="new">Make facebook ask for proof of age for minors

Angela Lopez, 37, claims that she did not know that she was obligated to report her income to welfare and SSI. On top of that, each of her three children had $50,000 in the bank, each... She claimed in court that she did not think she had to report that either.

“I was unaware that I needed to report the children’s bank accounts,” Lopez told an Albany County welfare fraud investigator in a statement she signed Oct. 19, 2009. “I didn’t report this income because my husband was not working and I thought I was under the income levels for food stamps and Medicaid.”

Prosecutors state that Lopez received $65,000 from Albany County Department of Social Services, and another $29,000 from the Social Security Benefits.

“I know we struggle and never have extra (money),” she stated. “It only goes to bills. We were way below income to be eligible for Medicaid … I did not know about any guidelines for SSI. I was informed differently today.”

Should she get prison time? Does sending a woman to prison for that many years, to only have tax payers pay for her food and shelter again sound like justice? How about making her pay back the money, oh lets say, by working it off! What do you think, is this justice by giving her prison time?

Everybody has been talking about how 2011 ads up to 111 this year. Some even believe it is the coming of the end. Here is what I did, a little mathamatics problem about birthdays and adding your age to the year you where born. You can than decide.

If you where born between 1911 to 1999 it adds up to 111. So for example, I was born in 72 and will be 39 in July of 2011, so it adds up to 111

Arithmetic Problem:
(2011-1972=39) than you get the 111 (39+72 = 111)

If you where born in 2000 to 2011 than it actually adds up to 11

Arithmetic Problem:
2011-2000=11
11+00=11

It doesn't work if you where born before the 1900s though, so if you where born in 1899 than you would be really old, just joking, but it does add up to 211 every time for anybody born in the 1800s.

Arithmetic Problem:
2011-1899=112
than
99+112=211

Note though, this has nothing to do with it being 2011 and everything adding up to all 1s. Did you know that if you add up the next year or the previous year it adds up the same for everybody as well? That means last year it added up your age to the year you where born, than it adds up to 110.

Arithmetic Problem for last year:
2010-1972=38
38+72=110

Than if you take a look at the arithmetic problem, than next year it adds up to 112, than 113 and so on.

Arithmetic Problem for next year:
2012-1972=40
40+72=112

Also, if you where born the year 2000 to the present, than it adds up to 10, 11, 12...

Try it now!

Dear Captain Stamford,

I am sorry it has taken me a little while to respond, my health has not been well the past few days, that is what you get with old age. I am sorry to hear about your accident and hope all is well. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and the other men that where involved in the bomb explosion. Which arm did the one soldier lose?

I sent the tag to the UN office, but like I stated before, I cannot Western Union the money without going unnoticed. I live in a very small community, and what ever I do is reported back to my son who is in control of my estate. I hope this goes well, my grandson would be so suprised, he just started attending college and needs money for book.

He responded back with this following email:

The soldier lost the left arm which was infact his more dominant arm. I really do not see anything abnormal in sending money through a western union within your town, however, if it really will not be possible for you, you could take a trip to the next town's and have it done there. Please this delat is not very adviceable.

It doesn't seem as if I will be able to get an address out of him. I am undecided as to whether end the correspondence and tell him what I really think, or just try one more email. What are your thoughts? Would you try to get an email address one more time or should a piece of your mind email suffice? Please comments are appreciated.
