This image is a set of long exposures stacked together creating a star trail, the polar star was used to keep the set of trails centred inside the frame.

I have been recently been getting involved with Astrophotography and I have been reading up and gaining knowledge of this very tricky subject, so I thought I would give it a go with the just using my DSLR and a tripod and try and capture a long exposure of the International Space Station as it orbits over our section of the planet.

The settings I used were:
ISO: 200
Aperture: F/3.5mm
Exposure Length: 30 Seconds
Focal Distance: 10mm

This is a reprocessed image I took a while back with 3 bracketted shots of Boreham House near Chelmsford in Essex

This shot was taken a few years back when I visited London with a few fellow photographers, this was one of the images I took, it’s of the caretakers cottage at St James Park
