&lt;p&gt;Interesting article that posits that connected devices make online video more like “plain old TV” with both the good and bad aspects. And the bad aspects can be exacerbated by trying to cram too much advertising (e.g. the same amount as traditional TV) into the online video ad breaks.&lt;/p&gt;
