A lot of people will judge you by what you post online so posting good things can make people think good things about you. If you post, "Haha I'm so lazy, my mom just asked me to take out the trash but I said that I was doing homework to get out of it even though I was playing video games." Your future boss could look at this before hiring you and then not hire you because he/she thinks you're lazy. If you post something like, "I just drove 20 miles to pick up my grandma from the airport." Then your boss might hire you just because he/she thinks you're a nice person.
