Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) said in a filing that the company is planning to open its first stand-alone retail store in Dublin, Ireland, to sell unspecified Google merchandise.

The company purchased property in Montevetro in April last year and will build a 123 square-meters of space with an additional mezzanine floor extension. The Dublin City Council approved the planning application on Jan. 23.

Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) said in an email, “While we do have the option to open retail space, we are examining all potential uses. No final decision has been taken”.

Asia’s largest automaker Toyota Motor Corporation (NYSE:TM) will invest $195 million in Indonesia to boost its capacity to 50,000 units per year.

This investment will be used to set up the Karawang 2 plant by early 2014 and to increase production.

The company will produce new model vehicles at its No. 2 plant. It sold 311,136 vehicles last year.

Yukitoshi Funo, Toyota Motor Corporation (NYSE:TM)’s vice president for Indonesia, said, “The additional capacity will increase Toyota Motor Corporation (NYSE:TM)’s annual output at Karawang Plant No. 2 to 120,000 units by early 2014. That will boost total local capacity to 230,000 units a year”.

The bankrupt Lehman Brothers has filed a case against Citigroup Inc. (NYSE:C) demanding $2.5 billion, in which it said the bank wrongfully withheld transferred money from the company.

Lehman Brother is seeking hundreds of millions from the bank in damages.

It is also looking to reduce or deny $2billion that Citigroup Inc. (NYSE:C) has from Lehman Brothers.

Citigroup Inc. (NYSE:C) has denied the accusation and said that it will challenge the case.

Danielle Romero-Apsilos, a Citigroup Inc. (NYSE:C) spokeswoman, said, “This action is an unjustified attempt by the Lehman estates to renege on their obligations to Citigroup Inc. (NYSE:C), and claw back assets to which they have no right. The bank, which went out of its way to try to help Lehman prior to its bankruptcy filing, will fight the lawsuit”.

Dan Pierce, a Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) spokesman said, “Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) is committed to top quality and responding quickly for our customers concerning any safety issues. The condition does not impede the function of the transmission.”
