<p>There are many techniques that you can apply to build your motivation, overcome procrastination and start taking action &#8230;</p>
<p>You can read books and listen to motivational programs all day long &#8230; many people do that and get little to no results. In a minute you&#8217;ll know why &#8230;</p>
<p>Let me share just one little tip that (if you only apply it) would be worth more than a hundred &#8220;success books&#8221;&#8230;</p>
<p><strong>It can boost your motivation instantly, force you to stop procrastinating and push you to take persistent action toward achieving your goals&#8230;</strong></p>
<p>All you have to so is make a small shift in how you perceive your life&#8230;<span id="more-5008"></span></p>
<p>In two words:</p>
<p><strong>FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE</strong></p>
<p>That&#8217;s it.</p>
<p>Let me tell you something. <strong>Everything in your life is exactly the way you want it to be</strong>, at least on a subconscious level. No arguments. Just accept it as fact.</p>
<p>Just take a closer look at what you&#8217;ve been actually <strong>doing </strong>lately to create the changes that you claim you want.</p>
<p>No, I&#8217;m not saying that you are totally happy and that everything in your life is going just the way you want.</p>
<p>What I CAN say is that if you tend to procrastinate and lack the motivation to take massive action toward your goals, it&#8217;s because <strong>you&#8217;re in your comfort zone</strong>&#8230;</p>
<p>Even if sometimes you feel stuck. Even if on some days you hate how your life has turned out&#8230;</p>
<p>You&#8217;re feeling somewhat comfortable. You&#8217;ve reached a point of some kind of balance, where not everything is right, but it&#8217;s not all too bad either. You can live with it&#8230;</p>
<p>It&#8217;s familiar, predictable, manageable. The good AND the bad.</p>
<p>And since you&#8217;re trying to &#8220;be positive&#8221; and get the most out of what you&#8217;ve got, you tend to accept it all, at least on a deeper level.</p>
<p>Now, I&#8217;m not saying you should start feeling sorry for yourself.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m not saying you should feel miserable.</p>
<p>Completely the opposite!</p>
<p>You should feel content and thankful for everything that is good in your life. Really appreciate what you&#8217;ve got. Enjoy it.<strong> Be happy in the moment&#8230;</strong></p>
<p>But still, you have to change your point of view just a little bit, and say: &#8220;Time to take it up a notch. My life is great, but it&#8217;s time to reach for the next level.&#8221; (This is just to give you an idea, but you need to be more specific.)</p>
<p>So &#8211; admit the fact that you&#8217;re in your comfort zone, then decide to break out of it&#8230;</p>

<p>When you have a positive mindset and you know how to take it slow, you will find that stress may not even be a part of your life.</p>
<p>Let me share with you what had worked for me &#8230;</p>
<h3>My Five Top Tips for Reducing Stress During College:</h3>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>1) Always take breaks</strong></p>
<p>Breaks are essential during college. You’re  going to find that there are many times when you’re going to have work, homework, as well as times to be in class. Learn how to just take advantage of break times. During these times, just head outside, sit on a bench, or just take a quick nap. Do anything it takes to keep your mind off your busy life.</p>
<p><span id="more-4787"></span></p>
<p><strong>2) Take a look at your diet</strong></p>
<p>Your diet plays a vital role with your stress.  You’re going to find that if you’re eating junk food all the time, your body is going to show it. Be sure to get a wide variety of foods that range from your fruits to your veggies. Your college campus café should have all the necessities that you need to have a balanced diet.</p>
<p><strong>3) Exercise as often as possible</strong></p>
<p>Most college campuses are huge and whether you ride your bike or walk, be sure to get as much exercise as possible. You’re going to find out that if you eat well, as well as live well, your body is going to feel great, hopefully leading to a stress free mind.</p>
<p><strong>4) Keep your mind off of things</strong></p>
<p>If you have a lot of downtime, you may find that you’re just  going to think too much. Sometimes you will find that when you  think too much, you will start to stress out about negative situations. The key here is to keep busy. Whether you get out and join clubs, or even take a stroll downtown with friends, find things to do to keep your mind off of things.</p>
<p><strong>5) Get professional help</strong></p>
<p>If you’re finding that stress is affecting your college life, you may want to get some professional help. If you have symptoms such as an inability to concentrate, or you just feel tired, be sure to talk with your college nurse to see if there is any help that you can get to help yourself get back on the right track.</p>
<p>You’re going to find that as long as you take care of yourself, you exercise, and keep your mind off of things; college can be a great experience. It also doesn’t hurt to create a schedule, so that you know what’s ahead of you.</p>
