Liverpool Handball Club International Handball Festival

The Liverpool Handball Club International Handball Festival which will be run 26/27 of May is now closed to entrys, we are looking forward to a great event.

The teams entered this year are from Spain, Norway,Holland,Switzerland, Scotland and England. There will also be a 4 Club Wheelchair handball Event commencing on the 25^th of may with the finals on Sunday the 26^th

EHA have developed an exciting partnership agreement with Handball Kreis Verden e.V. which is the Regional Handball Association of Lower Saxonia, and Warrington Wolves Foundation to give young handball coaches the opportunity for work based learning placements in respectective countries.

South Stoke School Sport Partnership

For the last few years the South Stoke SSP has run a Partnership Games for Y7, 8 and 9. The games give an opportunity for students who do not normally play for a team to represent their school. 30 students (15 boys and 15 girls) are invited to attend from 8 secondary schools and they all take part in 2 activities. A range of activities are offered and usually a short coaching session is run prior to a competition.

ABUHC University Championships 2012

The Association of British University Handball Clubs (ABUHC) had been founded after last year’s Championships in order to represent the University Clubs of England and Scotland by people who are themselves involved in those teams. The ABUHC was founded in spring 2011 with most of the University Handball Clubs being founding members. Over the summer, the founding committee established close connections to the EHA and SHA, to which the ABUHC is now affiliated and by whom it is officially charged with the organisation of the University Championships.

To coincide with the release of our KS3 resources at the end of 2011, the EHA are looking to find the school with the best classroom/sports hall display. Be creative and photocopy our resources, enlarge them and design your own!

2012 European Masters Tournament
