After completing a Bachelor of Design (Textiles) degree in Wellington in 2001, New Zealand’s Juliette Hogan established her own label in 2004, blurring the line between classic femininity and contemporary fashion. Her clean minimalist approach to tailoring, along with her careful selection of textiles, textures and colourations make for functional yet beautiful garments. Each piece is modern yet shrouded in a timeless quality. She now has her own flagship store in Auckland.

Great news today from M.A.C! Following their collaboration with Disney, they will be joining forces with Rodarte! The collection releases September 15th, but stay tuned for a detailed look at the range.

Married to the Mob just updated their site with their new lookbook for Fall. Entitled “M.O.B Aime Les Sucettes,” which translates to “M.O.B loves lollipops,” after Serge Gainsbourg’s (father of Charlotte) song “Les Sucettes”. The collection was inspired by the brands love for schoolgirls, jet-setting, and the beautiful city of Paris. You can get the collection now through MTTM’s MOB Shop. My personal favourite is the burnout chiffon tulle. So sweet!

Today we get a look at a new collection of bags from Bulgari designed by Isabella Rossellini, the daughter of Ingrid Bergman and Roberto Rosselini. The bags are aimed towards the older, 40-something crowd, and you can immediately tell when looking at the items, their materials, lines, shapes and forms. Isabella’s mom also worked with the famed fashion house back in the ’60s. The range is already in shops and ranges from $1700 to $2600.

Hermès have revealed their campaign for Fall/Winter, which was shot by Paolo Roversi and features models Constance Jablonski and Jonas Mason. I’m a big fan of Roversi’s work for Hermès. He always manages to create stunning images, that are larger than life.

YSL have unveiled their campaign images from their Fall/Winter collection, which stars a very stunning and elegant Daria Werbowy. The photos were shot at the Hotel de Clermont-Tonnerre in Paris under the supervision of Creative Director, Stefano Pilati.

We’re hoping this is the last piece we bring you on the latest Dolce & Gabbana campaign starring Madonna. Click here and here for previous posts. This time around expect photos that emit an atmosphere of an idyllic family gathering complete with grandma, grandpa, babies, extended family members and live hens. A little cliché but it for some reason it works. I like the images, but a charming fourty-something male would’ve made a better companion for Madonna, but alas, we know she’s more into Spring chickens hens.

So Halloween is still a while away, but Victoria’s Secret is getting things into full swing so by the time All Hallows Eve rolls around, they’ll be right and ready with some great costumes. Expect the familiar sexiness you’ve come to expect from the brand paired with a little something extra instead of the typical witch, werewolf, Superman get-ups.
