Was there a boy named Bill or a boy named John?  John; there was a boy named John, not Bill.  Was there a boy named Bill?  No, there wasn&#8217;t a boy named Bill.  What was the boy’s name?  It was John.  The boy&#8217;s name was John.  </p>
<p>John saw a picture of a big TV and he wanted to have one for his pets to watch.  What did John see?  He saw a picture of a big TV.  Did John see a real TV or a picture of a TV?  A picture of a TV.  Do you have a TV?  Do you have a big TV or a small TV?  I have a small TV, not a big one.  Okay.  Did John want the big TV for himself to watch?  No, not for himself.  Did John want the big TV for himself to watch or for his pets to watch?  For his pets to watch.  Who did John want the big TV for?  His pets.  He wanted the big TV for his pets.  Did John want a big car for his pets?  No, not a big car.  Did John want five TVs for his pets to watch?  No, he didn&#8217;t want five TVs; he just wanted one TV for his pets to watch.  </p>
<p>He already had a dog and a cat, but he didn&#8217;t have a TV for them to watch.  What did John already have?  A dog and a cat.  Did John have pets?  Yes, he did.  Do you have pets?  What kind of pets do you have?  I don&#8217;t have any pets right now, but when I was a child we had a dog named Candy.  What was my dog&#8217;s name when I was a child?  Candy; she was a girl dog named Candy.  Did John have a pet alligator?  No, he didn&#8217;t have an alligator.  Did John have a TV for his pets to watch?  No, he didn&#8217;t have a TV for his pets.  What did John want?  A TV for his pets.  </p>
<p>John went to Seattle, Washington because he wanted to talk to the dogs and cats in Seattle.  Did John live in Seattle?  No, he didn&#8217;t live in Seattle; he went to Seattle.  Who went to Seattle?  John.  John went to Seattle.  Did John go to Seattle or Los Angeles?  Seattle; he didn&#8217;t go to Los Angeles.  Did John go to Los Angeles?  No, he didn&#8217;t go to Los Angeles.  Who did John want to talk to in Seattle?  The dogs and cats.  Did John want to talk to the goats in Seattle?  No, he didn&#8217;t want to talk to the goats in Seattle.  He wanted to talk to the dogs and cats.  Why did John want to talk to the dogs and cats in Seattle?  Because he was looking for a big TV.  </p>
<p>He asked them, “Is there a big TV here for my pets?”  Did John ask the dogs and cats in Seattle a question?  Yes, he did; he asked them a question.  What was John&#8217;s question?  His question was, “Is there a big TV here for my pet&#8217;s?”  Did John ask the dogs and cats in Seattle if there was a big bicycle there for his pets?  No, not a big bicycle. <p>“There are some big TVs in Paris, France.  But there aren&#8217;t any here in Seattle,” the animals answered.  Were there any big TVs in Seattle?  No, there weren&#8217;t.  Where did the animals say the big TVs were?  In Paris.  Did the animals say the big TVs were in San Francisco?  No, not in San Francisco.  Did the animals say the big TVs were in Paris or San Francisco?  Paris, not San Francisco.  What place didn&#8217;t have any TVs?  Seattle; Seattle was the place with no big TVs.  Did the animals answer John&#8217;s question?  Yes, they did; they answered his question.  Who answered John&#8217;s question?  The animals.  Where were the animals that answered John&#8217;s question?  In Seattle.  </p>
<p>John went to Paris, France with his dog and his cat.  Did John go to Paris with his cousin?  No, he didn&#8217;t go with his cousin.
