From all the places on earth, this is the closest place of the Heaven’s Garden. This statement was made by the well known representative of the Conservation International Organization from the United States, Bruce Beehler. The reason that lies at the base of this statement is the fact that this man discovered a virgin portion of jungle. This was a big surprise to him as it was thought that there no longer exist such virgin portions0.

This portion covers the Foja Mountains and houses some nature wonders such as unknown plant species, rare animals. This is what mostly impressed the discoverer, the fact that he was the one that made the discovery and felt like having a feeling of proud and triumph, of the joy of knowledge. What is more impressive is the fact that these plants and animals here, despite of their savageness they allow being touched and taking close looks at them.
In order to get here it is rather difficult. The main problem is that the Foja Mountains are covered with a very dense tropical forest and this area is barely used as it is new. There are no other roads to lead to this place, not even small roads. Apart from the physical hardship to get here, one should add the administrative difficulties. The western part of the island is under the Indonesian administration this making it a place where the foreign access is strictly forbidden. Anyhow, nothing is impossible for a perfect holiday, as having the necessary approvals you will be able to enter in this area.
This is 3000 square kilometers areas that will leave you breathless once here. One more thing that you should take into consideration in coming here is that you have to be prepared for adventures and for the unknown. If you are a keen traveler you should think of some places that resemble with this one, from Africa and South America.
Enjoy!

Before starting the journey to the Holy Country of Israel to see where Jesus Christ was born, raised, lived and was crucified, there are some things that one should know in advance. First thing that you should know is that it is far better to have this holiday organized by a travel agency, as they know best which are the perfect times to visit this country. When the agency makes you the offers, you should take into consideration that they include as well a guide and leave with all the safety measures in place – travel insurance, medical insurance and life insurance.

Once you arrive here, do not depart from the touristic group that you are with. You should pay attention to all the announcements and recommendations that are made by the local authorities. It is advisable that you have on you, in a place hard accessible the identification papers and the personal values. Under no circumstance you should leave them in the room.
If it happens that you get lost in Bethlehem or Jerusalem do not panic. You can opt to take a cab that will take you directly to the hotel. There are people there that will ask you to change small bills into a big one. Do not let yourself fooled, as you will no longer see your money.

At the Holy Grave the access is allowed just during the morning time. When the area closes, the policemen search for the pilgrims in every corner of this place, and those that are found that have not left this area yet, are thrown outside.
The tip here is a must, this is why you should keep the small money for giving tips. It varies from 15 Euros to 20 Euros. For emergency situation is good to address to the embassy of your state in Tel Aviv. They have an “sms” alert system that will help you overcome the urgent situations.

Enjoy!

The Belvedere Palace is a palace actually built on two palaces that are separated by suspended gardens. At the ground floor one can admire Gothic and Baroque Art expositions.
The Museum of Art History is one of the richest and wealthiest as far as fine art concerns, from the planet. It has art oeuvres dating from the antique period up to the present times, from all over the world and especially Europe. The Italian and Flamand collections especially deserve the attention of the admirer’s.
The Saint Charles Church is one of the biggest buildings in Vienna and it was built at the beginning of the 18th century. Its entrance is quadrated by enormous colons that resemble with the Column of Traian from Rome.
The Saint Stephan Cathedral is known for its medieval look despite of the passing of the centuries. The interior is filled with sculptures, monuments and paintings. The tour of the catacombs is made from Monday till Saturday.
A very big touristic sight is the Schonbrunn Castle. This castle was built by the Hapsburg’s between 1696 and 1712 and it has 1441 rooms. Out of the total number of the rooms, just 40 of them are able opened to public’s visit. It is full of rococo that contrasts with the cold Hapsburg style. Mozart himself has sung here at the age of 6, for the Maria Theresa Queen. The park of this palace was opened to the public at around 1779 and rapidly became a touristic destination. Among the flowers and the green fences, it as well contains a Botanical Garden and a Zoological Garden.

Some other places that one should visit is the Musikverein. This is one of the biggest music halls in the world and it was built in Baroque style in 1867 having a perfect acoustic. It is the house of the well known Vienna Philharmonic of which concert by Johann Strauss is played in the New Year’s Eve.

The Beethoven, the Freud, Klimt and Mahler inheritance lure the tourists into this gracious city, one of the most fascinating cities from Europe. Vienna is famous for its gemutlichkeit, for its trams, its coffee and its sweets stores, as well as for its charm, its civilization, its music, art and culture. Spending your holiday here one will have many things to visit and one week will not enough to cover it all. This is the reason for which, one should think of making a list of main touristic attractions.
A first interesting stop is the royal apartments. The Emperor Franz Joseph the 1st lived here until the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. The visitors can admire his opulent chambers and his big concert hall, the silver collection and the rococo decorated dinner tables. Everything in this castle, including the chandeliers and the drawings from the walls, characterize 100% Vienna.
The Spaniard Riding School founded in the middle of the 16th century preserve the classic horse trainings. The horses that are here were obtained by crossing different species, such as Spanish, Italian and Arab ones.
The Treasury is another pit stop to make while in Vienna. This majestic collection includes the imperial Crowns of the Roman Saint Empire and the Austrian Empire, as well as many jewelry of the Burgundy House and the Golden Fields.
Hearing the Viennese Boys Choir will enchant your ears. Ever since the 15th century Vienna has been associated with music like Mozart, Schubert and Bruckner. The Viennese Boys Choir started singing on the international stage ever since 1926; nowadays they sing on Sundays at the imperial Chapel, between the months of January and June and as well September and December. The Albertina Museum owns one of the biggest graphic collections in the world. Apart from this it as well has other 25000 architectural design as well as a photo collection.

The United States of America is a place that many want to get to and this is due to many reasons. Traveling by car there you will see that the roads are the dream of any driver, especially those driving on the European roads. You will not see roads that have less than four driving parts for one way.

On your way there, taking the highway you can stop at the outlet and do some shopping. Entering in Washington you will see that it is not as easy as you may think, despite having a GPS. One street here bears a name until the half of the street and then changes the name and has another one and after a while it takes back the initial name. Theoretically it is rather simple, as the streets that are on diagonal bears the name of the American States, those from East to West have alphabet letters names and those from the north to the south have numbers names.
You can start your visit through Washington by going to the National Mall. This is an open air national park that starts with Lincoln Memorial and ends with the Capitol. This also comprises the West Potomac Park and the Constitution Gardens. Seeing the Lincoln Memorial you will be amazed of the magnificent construction and size. It is built in the style of the Greek temples and was built to honor the memory of the 16th president of the United States – Abraham Lincoln. It has almost 6 meters high and on the wall it is graved an epitaph in the memory of the president, written by Royal Cortissoz. It represents a symbol of the fight for the civil rights.
From this Memorial, walking through the park you will pass by the Vietnam Heroes Monument. More forward you will see the monument raised in the name of the fallen heroes from the 2nd World War. What everyone wishes to see when coming to Washington is the White House. Unlike the other residences of other presidents, this is a place that everyone wishes to see at least once in a lifetime. You will be amazed of the fact that it is very tangible, very close to people’s eye and opened to the public.
Enjoy!

While not many people can enjoy a long holiday, those prefer to take some weekend breaks out of the rush life they have in the city and during the week. Romania is a country that offers one many possibilities to spend your weekend.
The closest Sunday to 20th of May, in Alba county, in the Bucium village and in the Negrileasa location. This location is a place where each year there is a traditional fare that is called the Daffodils Fare. Despite of the fact that this location is on the west part of the country, people from every part of Romania come here and spend their Sunday between a field of flowers. This holiday has become a tradition for some years now and in 1995 the Daffodils Park has become a protected area and belongs to the Trascau Tourism and Ecology association.
They will mark the areas that have the car access forbidden and as well those that allow people to enter into the reservation. Moreover, they will be those that will put some information points and warning signs. While one has the possibility to come here and stay overnight in one’s own tent, there is a special location reserved just for the tents. As this is a true fare in all the meanings of the words, there will be traditional food and beer.
To properly understand the importance of the daffodils, one must know that they are a protected species of flowers in this area, and they cover around 4 and half hectares of land here. Apart from Negrileasa, there is one more area that these plants are common in – the Intregalde village.
If you stay and have talk with the people here, they will tell you the legend that stays at the base of this fare. The white fields are amazing seen from afar and more amazing seen from near.

There are other pyramids in the world apart from the great pyramids of Egypt and one of them is the Sun Pyramid from Teotihuacan. If this last name does not ring a bell yet, it is high time that you start knowing this location. It is one of the most important archaeological sites in the world and the most visited one in Mexico city.
This location has been exploited just starting the beginning of the 20th century. It combines the majestic constructions with mural art, hiding at the same time the real age that they actually have. In order to get here the highway crosses almost 55 kilometers towards north – west on the 2300 altitude high. You will walk until you enter in the archaeological site of Teotihuacan opened daily in the morning starting 9AM. Moreover, making such an early visit is more recommended as later the air becomes thicker and breathless.
Making a tour through the site will not be so difficult to find as many tourism agency has offers regarding this destination. As an introduction to it, a Mexican man waits for the tourists at the entrance to his small craft plant, explaining how you can make a certain kind of sugar syrup out of a plant. Afterwards, he presents the usage of some rocks in making everyday jewels for ladies.
This location was installed by some people 150 – 100 BC. This settlement has become over the centuries the sixth biggest town of the world and the most crowded place of the New World. It is an economic and a religious center that lays on more than 20 kilometers. It has three pyramids, out of which the biggest, the pyramid of the Sun, seems to have been covered in red.
Out of the three pyramids, the guides start the tour with the Pyramid of the Moon. More than 40 meters high, you can see the impressive Boulevard of the Dead, which is right in front of the Pyramid. In the same Moon Square there are other 15 small constructions that look very much alike.

The Pyramid of the Sun has a total height of 70 meters with 248 stairs that abruptly climb on the superior platform. Under the pyramid, the archaeologists have discovered a grotto full of religious artifacts.
La Ciudadela is the name of an archaeological complex made of rock and has a square shape. This includes the Temple of Fertility and various edifices, all surrounded by big walls. Out of the stone wall, one can see snake heads that impress through their grey beauty.

Though to some, this may seem that is rather far away, Mexico is a very interesting holiday destination that one can choose. Downtown Mexico, the pine forests house each winter millions of monarch – butterflies. These start their voyage from the north part of America in a fascinating migration, that up until now, it is not fully understood by the researchers.
The butterflies gather around each other in gigantic bunches on the big trenches of the high forest trees. Early in the morning they wake up in the warmth of the sun and color the sky with a bright orange and then the roots and the weeds. At the end of February and at the beginning of March, the lands from the western part of Mexico City say farewell to the colored guests. These are the days when there are many tourists visiting that wish to see how the swarms graciously blow their little wings.
They monarch butterfly is called like this in order to remind one of an English monarch. It has a width of ten centimeters of the wings and it is wide spread all over the Mexico. The difference between the male and the female butterfly stands in the existence of two black spots on the inferior wings that mark the pheromones. The female has shorter wings and darker ab.
These type of butterflies are often met in North America but as well in the Bermudas Islands, Hawaii, Azores, Canaries and in the western Europe. At the end of October, these butterflies start their journey to the center of Mexico, in order to spend the winter in the pine forests that exist here. They fly just in the wintering areas and pair mainly during spring time. Flying up to here, they create a butterfly’s reservation in this area in the pine forests. For more than 5 months, they are housed in the volcanic area of Mexico, being grouped in 14 natural colonies. This is a UNESCO protected reservation.
El Rosario is the name of the most popular touristic area where the tourists can see the forests that are full of butterflies. This is the period when they start to descend at lower heights before going towards north for good.

While we have been speaking for some time now for different ways and locations to spend your holiday, when making a decision regarding the holiday, one should take into considerations some other factors as well. Not all of us have somebody they can share their holiday with and this being said, you should be careful if you plan to go on holiday by yourself. There are some basic advices that you can follow in order to make your holiday safer.
Beware of the thieves: one should carry at all times a lantern on. It is advisable that you avoid the narrow streets that are very lightly lighted, but in case you have no other option, having a lantern on, will save you of a lot of trouble. Nowadays they exist in many forms, so no need to opt for a big one. You should take care when being in the crowd as thieves prefer crowded places. Take into consideration having some extra money in your bra. While you may have your bag stolen, they will not steal you entirely, and having some money kept aside, will prove to be helpful in harsh times. Do not resist when somebody grabs your purse. While the instinct is to fight them back, you know that as a girl you actually any stand no chance. You may be violently aggressed.
Beware of the outfit. If traveling alone one should take notice that the outfit means a lot. Dress as a local; being overdressed will create the impression that you have money and therefore the possibility to steal from you. Avoid gala dressing; this does not signify that you have to be poorly dressed, but do not over exaggerate.
Beware of the men. You do not necessarily want to be picked up by any man you meet. The oldest and most known trick is wearing a wedding ring. Mostly men do not want to take the “property” of another man. The sight should not stay too much on a man especially you should avoid making direct eye contact for too long. This by all means, means a direct invitation to flirt. Use the “no” word! Saying directly what bothers you is the best way to be left alone.

No matter what season may be in London, the parks maintain their royal look and elegantly decorate the wide boulevards. Far away from the capital fuss, hidden by big palaces and historical buildings, these oases of tranquility connect the city rush to the invariable rhythm of nature, whispered by the rich old trees and by the blue waves of the waters. Swans, wild gooses and seagulls meet on the border lawns, before these merge with the water’s edge, the runners share the alleys with the bicyclists and the horsemen and the little dogs that are let loose run after the squirrels, which are lost among the grass. All around here there is a world in full moving that is guarded by the gracious statues and admired by the London people.
There are eight public parks that have the title of Royal Parks and that impress the visitors through their beauty and the historical pit that the green cloth they wear bears. The truth is that once you get here you constantly look for the long queues from the tourists’ attractions and from the museums entrance and the little ships that will take you up to the London Bridge.
The simplest description of the parks and their location on the map can be fixed by the Buckingham Palace. The roads starting here lead towards five of the total eight Royal Parks. These five parks are the Hyde Park, the Kensington Gardens, Saint James Park, Green Park and Regent Park. The other three left – Richmond Park, Bushy Park and Greenwich Park, refresh the air from other quarters of London. These are situated along Thames.
Finding yourself in front of Buckingham Palace, you will see on the left side a gigantic gate that marks the entrance in the Hyde Park. In the right part you will see the richness of Saint James Park. Behind the palace, these gardens wide, but their visiting is made just with an organized tour. The Kensington Gardens stretch from the Hyde Park. Regent Park lies just a couple of streets farther the north east of Hyde Park.

The Green Park has a triangle green shape of 19 hectares opened to the public barely in 1826. This was initially a park for the dears. Therefore, unlike other parks, this is a very quiet one and has very old trees and good picnic place. Saint James Park is the oldest park and lies between three palaces – the Buckingham, the Saint James and the Westminster. The military parades take place on the boulevard that borders the park.
