Hundreds of people have emailed me wanting more information about how to make individual post titles show up before your blog title in Google search results, that I just had to update this post with more detailed information.

Why It Is Important to Show Article Title Before Blog Titles:

Showing the individual post or article title first, before your blog title or the name of your blog on Blogger, tells readers, and perhaps most of all, the search engines, exactly what your article is all about.

SEO is very important.

This allows you to receive targeted readers who are directly interested in your blog content and are more prone to do the following actions:

Remain on your website or blog longer.
Make return visits.
Share your page with other like-minded people, providing free promotion and advertising for you.

If your goals are to share your site with others, then it is an absolute must to ensure that it is optimized and indexed for search engines, and that it shows up in the SERPS (search engine results pages). If you are at all unsure how to accomplish this, then you need to read this article before doing anything else.

Learning how to ensure that your site gets indexed by major search engines like Google, Yahoo, and Bing is a major step in the right direction. This is how visitors find your site via Internet searches.

When Sites Are Not Indexed by Search Engines:

Understanding duplicate content and how it can lower your Google pagerank is very important. Google defines this as follows,

"Duplicate content generally refers to substantive blocks of content within or across domains that either completely match other content or are appreciably similar."

Displaying the same content on your site more than one time or copying material from another site is what Google refers to as duplicate content. This is a major no-no and will drastically reduce your page rank in a New York minute.

The following is a wonderful work-around for your Blogger blog that will help you with the first and most important SEO step, which is to get your post titles (individual articles) to display before your blog title (name of your blog). Here's all you have to do. Login to your Blogger blog.

Go to your Blog's Dashboard and select Layout.
Click on Edit HTML.
In Template Editor, Click Blog 1 at the top. (This is the new way to expand widgets.) There have been some changes to Blogger.
Type Ctrl+F, which will open the Find command, enabling you to then, search for the following line in your template's code:

<title><data:blog.pageTitle/></title>

Once that line of code is located, next, replace it with the following code below:

<title><data:blog.pageName/> | <data:blog.title/></title>

Remember to save your Template, or all your hard work will be lost.

And that’s it. You’re done! After a few days, your blog title will appear AFTER, and not before, your post title, the next time it appears in Google’s search engine results pages, just like mine!

Even If I Stole: One Resident’s View of Police Chief Thomas' Attempt at Transparency

The fact that city of #Ferguson police Chief Thomas Jackson released a video today displaying
a man engaged in a "strong-arm robbery", while simultaneously releasing the name of Officer
Darren Wilson as the police officer who murdered unarmed, 18 year-old Michael Brown
(#MikeBrown) feels to many of us who live in the area and surrounding areas, like yet another
militaristic attempt at combat.

Blaming The Victim

This sort of shameful blaming the victim has got to stop. There has been neither trial, judge, nor jury for Mike Brown. Unfortunately, I fear that Chief Thomas has gotten protesters riled up in the wrong direction once more. It’s time to remove Chief Thomas from any access to a microphone and decision-making abilities regarding this case and any other regarding our community. I personally call for this and many others concur.

Employing Old Tactics Anew

The stench of this sort of lunacy is much akin to that of the tear gas that police Chief Thomas ordered upon the citizens of Ferguson, Florissant, and St. Louis. The pain that wells up from the core greatly resembles that of the rubber bullets and bean bags [may as well have been water hoses], S.W.A.T, and militarized environment that Chief Thomas ordered.

The fear, anger, and psychological torment that we have all had to endure during this time is reminiscent of what it feels like every day while Black in this area when in the company of the police for so many of us, whether we have stolen cigarillos or not. This is what the world needs to know and is starting to know.

Police Intimidation, Nothing New to Us

Police brutality and threatening behavior in this area is nothing new to us, who live in this area. The fact that Chief Thomas says that he had no idea of the disdain and disconnect between the African-American community and his police force can only be reflective of one of three things;

That this is another one of the numerous lies that Ferguson Chief Thomas has become known for.
That Thomas is absolutely apathetic to the needs and desires of his constituents.
That Thomas is absolutely incompetent and incapable of communicating with, keeping the peace, protecting, and serving a community that has lost both respect and faith in his ability to do his job.

I have never committed a crime, never been to jail, and hold several advanced degrees, yet I become very nervous, uncomfortable, and afraid when a police officer pulls up next to me or drives behind me. Although quite sad, this is not unique. It doesn't matter who you are, if you're Black, you can expect to be intimidated.

This has long been the story in St. Louis. It's the white elephant in the room that many in the African-American community acknowledge. We know what streets to go down and which one's to steer clear of, especially at night, especially for men and boys.

Chief Thomas' announcement today was not only late and displayed one more thoughtless lack of compassion on his part, but it was indeed, another shot in the face to the family of the young, deceased #MichaelBrown and his entire family. This is a shot in the arm to the African-American community and to the community-at-large. While masked as a move toward transparency, what this really is, on the part of Chief Thomas, is the protection of a murderous police officer who killed an unarmed human-being.

We have seen this strategy employed far too often and as evidenced by the week-long protest, that we, in the #Ferguson-Florissant, St. Louis (#STL) metropolitan areas, and the entire country, are no longer going for this rigamarole.

What We Want Now

What we want and what we deserve are quite simple. Transparency. Real transparency, not mere moot attempts to justify why a trained police officer, #DarrenWilson, killed an unarmed 18 year-old child in broad daylight, execution style, shooting him as many as six to nine times, according to witnesses. It has been made very clear to us who our allies are and Chief Thomas is NO ally of the people.

Even though we are hurting, even though we are angry, we are strong. We are proud. We stand together. It does not matter if Michael Brown stole cigarillos or a snack bar. He should NOT be dead. He should NOT have been murdered.

My question to you is this, even if I stole, should I be dead? #EvenIfIStole

Last Night’s ‘Glee’ A Hit: One Less Beautiful Home to Sing

“Glee” is a hit, really. Last night’s episode was no different. The unique musical choices and arrangements are like none other, including "Home," from the Wiz, made popular by Stephanie Mills, who was on The Monique Show last week, "A House Is Not A Home," by Luther Vandross, Christina Aguilera's "Beautiful," and "One Less Bell to Answer" (The 5th Dimension).

There’s nothing even remotely similar on television today, believe me. I searched. To come even close, you’d have to create a mash-up of something from the 1950’s, morph it into a whole lot of somethings from the 1980’s, snatch up some 1960’s flavor, and top it all off with a mock-up from the 1990’s and beyond. I know something like a replica of Lady Gaga would have to hang out somewhere in that funky mix, just to hold it all together.

Not only was last night’s episode beautiful, with its numerous highs and lows in emotional tugs, but also in sheer talent. The music was off the grid in terms of originality and truth, from the characters’ perspectives. Every word that was sung last night was not only believable, but appropriate for each character to say. Not that I’m at all one who believes that everything that we watch on television has to be realistic, but the word that sticks out in my memory of last night’s “Glee” episode most, is undoubtedly, “Believable.” I loved it!

Kristin Chenoweth

Kristin Chenoweth’s character, Little Miss alcoholic herself, played by April Rhodes, was wonderful in her portrayal. She was so splendid that I’m even sorry for referring to her as an alcoholic. She’s evolved some and changed for the better, as she seems to be willing, ready, and able, to do so much more. April appeared stronger and more ready to make positive changes in her life. Not only that, but she went out of her way to prove that she really is capable of being a friend to Will, played by the handsome, Matthew Morrison.

The duet they sang together all, but had me in tears of delight. They sang a medley of Luther Vandross’ “A House is Not a Home,” and “One Less Bell to Answer,” by The 5th Dimension. It was simply fantastic! Who can discuss the show itself, absent of the wonderful music that is so new, now, next? It’s absolutely impossible and aren’t we all so fortunate because of it?

Other show-stoppers from last night’s episode of were two stand-out performances. One was by Kurt, played by Chris Colfer. This young star gave us a most interesting and lovely version of “A House is Not a Home,” by Luther Vandross. Colfer’s voice is pristine, to say the least. The particular version of the song that he sang was absolutely unfathomable, prior to listening. His arrangement can only be described as Luther meets Bing, with loveliness sprinkled all about it!

My ears were in absolute Heaven and disbelief at what I heard. It was awesome. The song is usually sung with more of a soulful presence and it’s what is expected for the most part, but Colfer definitely did the song justice. No doubts and no qualms, even from the most die-hard Luther fans. He gets a lot of credit for having the courage to not only try such a feat, but for accomplishing it.

Let’s put it in context. Singing a Luther Vandross song while the soulful singer was still alive was akin to singing gospel at the world famous Apollo Theater in New York. To get away with this and not get booed or defamed, you must have a firm grasp and understanding on not just how to sing gospel music, but you must have a deep respect for it. It doesn’t stop there. It must be perceived by the audience that all of the aforementioned is true! This can neither be taught in school, nor faked. It must be a genuine and deep full buy-in on the part of the audience or you’re out. Now, Luther Vandross is no longer with us. (See how carefully I had to say that? People don’t play around with Luther-- and I’ve had soul my whole life!) But now that he is gone, you’ve got to kick it up a notch and just imagine! All I can say to Colfer is kudos! Job well done.

Amber Riley

Lastly, I’ve got to bring up Mercedes’ Jones, played by the lovely Amber Riley. Her song was “Beautiful,” by Christina Aguilera. She too brought tears to my eyes, as she defied her evil cheerleading coach, Sue, portrayed by Jane Lynch, by standing up for herself and calling all the other students to join her in song. Mercedes invited her classmates to come up to the front of the gymnasium if they had ever been hurt or felt badly about themselves, as most adolescents do at one time or another.

As a mom, I love the fact that Mercedes always makes the choice to acknowledge her beauty and stand up for herself, despite descriptive words like, “fat.” She goes on to ask her peers, “How many of you at this school feel fat, or you’re ugly, or you have too many pimples and not enough friends? Well I’ve felt all those things about myself at one time or another.” She begins singing, “I am beautiful no matter what they say and words won’t bring us down.” Who doesn’t love Mercedes? Every school needs a girl just like her to help boost every kid’s self-esteem. What a fantastic role-model for kids and adults alike.

I’m a great fan of Mercedes, as she always seems to steal the show. I love her strength, yet her innate ability to be vulnerable in the face of adversity, and in such an unashamed and courageous manner. Hear her roar. Her character’s courage really brings it all together for the entire cast and what I think the show is truly all about; truth, love, compassion, strength, courage, and standing together as one, for the benefit of all.

We can all learn from Mercedes and her unique ability to remind us all that we’re only human. What I love most about this girl is that she reminds me to be strong enough to accept my own personal weaknesses and vulnerabilities enough carve out a way to thrive and find strength within them, to essentially be strong enough to be weak, yet weak enough to be strong.

What Do American Pop Culture Icons Jean Michel Basquiat, Run DMC, and Vincent "The Prince" Gallo Have in Common?

In the midst of working on an article for my blog, I took a short entertainment break and uncovered something great. I came across one of the most ground-breaking and important videos of all time, as far as hip-hop culture goes. It's definitely an oldie-but-goodie, one that will indubitably go down in hip-hop and American pop culture history, that's for certain.

The video is from the June 29, 1984 pilot episode of television show "Graffiti Rock & Other Hip Hop Delights". The show was intended to be an ongoing episodic hip-hop dance show, patterned after other popular weekly dance shows of the time like "Soul Train" and "American Bandstand", but unfortunately it never made it past the original pilot episode. Michael Holman, hip-hop pioneer and friend of late pop art icon Jean Michel Basquiat, is the show's creator and host, while rappers Run-DMC, Special K, and Kool Moe Dee perform.

This brilliant work aired in New York City on WPIX and in a few other television markets throughout the United States. The entire episode is now available on DVD.

American pop culture is so interesting for a number of reasons. What it represents, in theory, is a culmination of the everyday languages of common folk, blended into one. These languages are composed of simultaneous infusions of art, music, advertisements, photography, comic books, film, and television images, semantics, ethnicity, political, social, and academic climates, and so much more.

There are no boundaries, it seems, as pop culture is constantly evolving and achieving new pinnacles. With pop culture, one can start out in art and end up in hip-hop music and dance in a New York minute. That's exactly what happened to me today.

I was digging in the crates, so to speak, which is what many hip-hop producers and D.J.'s typically do when they go to vintage music stores, second-hand stores, or their parents' old records stash, searching for old songs to sample as they create new music.

I was doing some research online, reading up on American Pop artists, as I often do. I was, in fact, on an American pop culture scavenger hunt, as I like to call it when I forage around the World Wide Web for interesting articles, images, videos, and anything I can get my hands on referencing the topic. What a great find indeed!

I began by reading about iconic pop artists. First, I viewed some paintings by one of my favorite pop artists, Jean Michel Basquiat. I read a few articles about him and reminisced on the wonderful biographical epic film about his life, aptly titled "Basquiat." The brilliant and diverse film's soundtrack was calling my name, so I had to pop it in for a listen, not to mention, I thought it would awaken my sleeping muse and add inspiration to my writing hand, crying out for assistance.

After spending a little time with Basquiat, the natural thing to do would be to spend a little time with my 'friend' Andy Warhol, so I did. I went on to enjoy some reading about yet another one of my favorite pop artists, Andy Warhol, known by many as founding father of the American Pop Art Movement . I visited a few art websites and blogs where I could make googley eyes at his wonderful works of art and then get back to the business of my own writing.

Certainly, I didn't get right back to writing. That would just make way too much sense. Instead, I followed a link because that's what they're for right -- to be followed. Who am I to alter a thing's purpose? I had to follow that link. So I ended up reading even more interesting articles on American pop artists of course.

When you watch this video, you will be astonished to see some of the greatest break dancing and spinning. You will also hear some old-school rap hits from the days of the original "boom-bat" when rap and hip-hop culture was new, fresh, and still in its defining stage of pre-pubescence.

This video represents art, hip-hop, music, and theater on the cutting edge of everything that we now know pop culture to be. Famous hip-hop acts like Run DMC perform set the stage and dancers on fire in this one, as it sits the viewer on the edge of her seat. World famous rap star from the 1980's, Kool Moe Dee is also on the microphone in this gem, as well as Vincent "The Prince" Gallo.

My on-going education of American Pop Culture never ceases its wondrous whisking whirls of expansion and enlightenment. This is exactly why I love it so much. As I continue to my immersion in American pop culture, I grow more and more amazed, while increasing in my ever-growing appreciation of the fact that there is always so much more for me to learn. It's all interconnected. How exciting! Shall the learning never cease!

Share Your Favorite Photos | MckLinky Blog Hop

This is my first time participating in a MckLinky Blog Hop, but it looks like a whole lot of fun. On this one, the idea is for bloggers to post their "FAVORITE PHOTOS" and visit other blogs on which the publisher has done the same. Now that sounds like fun to me. Add your a link to your post after you've written your post about your fave.

Of course, as usual, my favorite photo has to do with family, which I adore so much! My sweet little girl made me two very special flowers out of the most vibrant royal blue and red clay. She's such an artist, in her own right. I find them both to be of miraculous beauty. I couldn't resist taking a photograph of this divine creation.

I also took a snapshot of real flowers, after which my little sculptor modeled her designs. See if you can determine which image includes real flowers and which one is of her clay creations.

If you're into photography at all, you're bound to get a kick out of PicJoke.com. It's a wonderful, new website for any photo enthusiast or anyone who just wants to have fun with images online. I stumbled upon the site since I wanted to try out some cool imaging effects and I didn't want to spend any many, not that I have any to spend anyway.

What I found to be really interesting is that you can try your hand out at all sorts of tricks right there on the web page. You can just forget about having to understand how to work fancy magic with your digital camera by simply uploading your pictures to the site. It's amazing what you can do.

You can use the collage studio to create illustrious images to share with your friends and family, or just embed them on your blog or website. They have over one-hundred photo effects, making it simple and efficient for you to use the collage maker and to create a collage photo. In fact, since the website is completely free of charge, I plan to use it to create lots of pics.

New effects are added to the website each and every day, so there's never a boring moment! Check out the site for yourself and let me know what you think about the many effects that are available. You all know how much I love my entertainment, right? Well, I just recently returned home from the hospital, and needed an upgrade in my home entertainment. More viewing choices is exactly what I need right now. I started searching for Direct TV Service options in St. Louis. As you know, when you’re looking for something in particular, it can be very difficult to find. Much to the converse, as soon as you stop looking, whoops, there it is, smack dab in your face, it seems, almost like it was there all along!

Well this time I may have gotten lucky. I found MyTVOptions.com. While looking for a great upgrade to my home entertainment options, I found DIRECT TV. I’m looking into it, especially since they’ve got some great deals going right now.

What I want is excellent quality in picture, sound, and selection. I enjoy watching all sorts of movies. Lately, I'm truly digging documentaries. Anything on Black history, music, mobsters, (yeah, I said it), religion, U.S. history, and culture suits my fancy. I also like comedy films and so much more.

For instance, they’re offering over one-hundred fifty DirectTV channels, plus Showtime for free for $29.99/ month for a period of three months. They’ve also got over two-hundred ten channels, with Showtime and Starz channels thrown in for just $34.99/ month, and their best deal yet gives viewers more than two-hundred twenty five channels, along with Showtime and Starz. This package includes up to eleven premium movie channels altogether and it only costs $39.99/ month.

Ever Wonder What Happened to Neo-Soul Singing Duo, Floetry? Find Out, Plus Free Download

Many have long wondered what has been going on with Floetry. We've gotten lots of emails on this issue asking us to see what we could dig up on the topic. Well here's the skinny. Floetry did break up and they do not plan to get back together.

In fact, Marsha Ambrosius says in an interview that she can not see them getting back together, to paraphrase her comments. Natalie Stewart, the other member of this soulful duo agreed in an interview with talk-show host Wendy Williams, that Stewart made a dissappearing act without informing her band member. What was she to do?

The problem with that is that they had a concert coming up. Ambrosius went on with the concert and it was billed as a Floetry performance. Fans arrived to the show only to find that there was no Natalie Stewart. She had been replaced by a singer by the name of Amanda Diva. So, who is Amanda Diva?

Who knew?! Natalie explains in the interview that she was out of touch with her bandmate because she was ill and needed to get back into herself. Go figure.

Natalie Stewart Answers Gay Rumors

We all know that it doesn't matter one way or the other if Natalie Stewart is gay or not, but juicy gossip is juicy gossip, right?!

In the same radio interview with Wendy Williams, Natalie Stewart puts an end to the gossip, admitting to being bisexual, while denying long-running rumors of carrying on a romance with band member Marsha Ambrosius, citing that, "Sexual orientation is for single folk," and she's married now. She also states that when she was single, she had "fun" with girls and if she and her husband want to have more fun with girls together, then basically, that's their prerogative.

The songbird goes on to say that the English do not regard sexuality as such a taboo subject as Americans do and spills all of Ambrosius' beans in revealing that she is as straight as they come. Stewart also says that she and Marsha Ambrosia are still friends and are not planning to make music together again anytime soon because they are both enjoying their solo careers. Well, at least the two have found at least one term upon which they can agree. Whew!

Solo Projects

In the meantime, they are both said to be working on solo projects. It would be wonderful if they got together for another Floetry project. The music is a culmination of the blending of multiple genres'. It's chock-full of R & B, hip-hop, neo-soul, funk, classical, and the blues infused throughout and is wonderful to the ear! I love the music that these two talented divas made together, as well as their solo work. They both seem to be very positive sisters who have definitely made their mark in Black music history and we can expect them to continue to do so. Stewart put the art of spoken word poetry on the Grammy map and of course we can never forget the melodiously funky single, "Butterflies," that Ambrosious penned for the "King of Pop," Michael Jackson! Now that one is a classic!

Jennifer Hudson and Michael Buble' Made Musical History On ABC's "I’ll Be Home for Christmas" Special

My eyes and ears were all abuzz in great anticipation as I sat down to watch Jennifer Hudson: I’ll Be Home for Christmas on ABC last night with special guest, Michael Bublé. Jennifer Hudson sang wonderful holiday tunes, visited her old high school, family members, the church she grew up singing in, and a few other sights around her hometown of Chicago, Illinois.

Throughout this divine musical show, the audience was taken on an entertainment tour of sorts, back to Jennifer Hudson's life prior to becoming a major star, even before her days on American Idol. The "Ghost of Christmas Past" took us along for the ride to Dunbar Vocational Career Academy, Pleasant Gift M.B. Church, and other popular Chicago landmarks like Navy Pier, Michigan Avenue and the Chicago River.

In video below, Jennifer takes us to her church. She begins the segment by talking about how church has been a great inspiration throughout her life. Along with a lively Gospel choir, she belts out "Joy to The World," and "Go Tell It On The Mountain," in an uplifting medley of praise. This scene could wake the dead and make them want to dance a jig!

The songstress may not have won on season three of American Idol in 2004, but she certainly stole the hearts of the world with her pristine voice and lovely spirit, in addition to a Grammy for “Best R&B Album” and an Academy Award for the movie Dreamgirls. With all the personal horrors and heartbreak that she and her family had to endure so publicly when Hudson's mother, brother, and nephew were brutally murdereed last year, this idol proves that she’s more than courageous, always rising to the occasion. This special glimpse into Jennifer Hudson's personal life and Christmas celebration was no different.

Jennifer Hudson returned home to her native, Chicago for this tasty holiday musical treat, performing some of the most wondrous and whimsical Christmas selections ever written. In the special, Hudson accomplishes exactly what she sets out to do. Hudson, her family, and friends bring joy to others during this festive time of year. Joy always comes when listening to Jennifer Hudson sing.

Seeing the Academy Award winner with her family was quite touching, as they got into the Christmas spirit. Her young son David, Jr. and his father, David Ortunga are quite obviously sources of sheer love and inspiration for Hudson. It was also a treat to see her singing with cousins, who also have lovely voices.

Michael Bublé, whose latest CD Crazy Love is definitely a hit, having debuted atop the Billboard 200 Chart, serves up his own juice on this special. Being a guest alongside Hudson, last night’s headliner is no minor feat. I must say that with Bublé's silky-smooth vocal talent, he was a wise choice indeed. The two teamed up to beautify and add sparkle to two Christmas standards, "Baby It's Cold Outside" and "Let It Snow." I was on the edge of my seat in awe. These two duets were beautifully arranged, amped up, and filled with down-home jazzy inflections. Justice was done.

Hudson also performed "Silent Night," "The Christmas Song," Donnie Hathaway's "This Christmas," and "O Holy Night." The scenery and sounds were absolutely angelic. Hudson’s soul-stirring rendition of the age-old holiday classic, “Oh, Holy Night,” was mind-blowing, to say the least. I was reminded of the true meaning of the holidays.

In the following video clip, Jennifer Hudson starts out with a jolly performance at Dunbar High. She begins the set singing "Give Love On Christmas Day," made popular by The Jackson Five. She talks a bit about her personal losses, but then moves right along to share some of the things she loves about her hometown of Chicago.

In the notes on Jennifer Hudson’s Facebook Fan Page, she posts, “The special will follow Jennifer back to her roots, to her hometown, her church, and back to the high school music room where she told her teachers, ‘I’m going to be a famous singer.”

It was superb to see the warm welcome the superstar received at her high school, Dunbar Vocational Career Academy, from which she graduated in 1999. The current students and teachers made strikingly colorful signs and banners to welcome their very own celebrity back home. Hudson was celebrated home big-time!

When Jennifer Hudson stepped into her former music classroom where Shari Nichols-Sweat, the vocal music teacher who inspired her still teaches, she offered current Dunbar students fierce words of encouragement that are bound to go a long way, as she proclaimed, “Y’all better sing!” Jennifer credits the school with giving her the confidence to pursue a singing career. Nichols-Sweat speaks highly of the star in the following video clip referring to the young Jennifer Hudson as, “One of the most determined students I’ve ever seen in my life.”

The cool part is that as Jennifer Hudson later performed onstage for the high schoolers, it became more than obvious just how well they’ve been following her career. The audience knew and sang the lyrics so well that she stopped singing for a spell and pointed her microphone to the crowd! What did the teens do next? Well, of course they did what anyone else would do. They sang!

Everybody's talking about Tiger-the-Tyger. He's all over the television all day long. You already know why, right? Of course you do. What you many not know though, is why I think he's a dunce and needs to sit in the corner for a while.

It f***ing kills me, too. I finally found someone I connect with, someone I have never found like this. Not even at home. You want someone to witness your life. I want you to lay next to me, lay on me or where ever you want to lay. F***. Why didn't we find each other years ago. We wouldn't be having this conversation."

Tiger-the-Tyger might be a dunce if he thought his mistresses were nice ladies who loved him for who he is. Perhaps they spotted him from across a crowded room and thought, "Wow, who is that cool looking dude? I would really like to get to know him. Does anyone know who he is?" It's quite obvious that at least one of the many mistresses wasn't always on the up-and-up. Tiger emailed Rachel Uchitel, "I thought I was getting to know you, but it feels like I'm just another person who happens to be famous. Every time I think about it, I get a lump in my throat. Some of the other parts of your past really get to me. I don't know what person I was falling for so hard. The one I got to know on the phone, e-mail, text and in person. Or the one who likes famous people. I am so confused, because what my brain is saying and what my heart is saying are two different things. Is it the Rachel I know or the character? That's what's hard. It guts me to think I've fallen for the wrong one."

Rapper DMX Is Afraid of The Beatdown: Sore Loser Before The Fight Even Begins

The news is buzzing around ~~crybaby~~ ~~jailbird~~ rapper, DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons. Sources report that he DMX allegedly pulled out of a much touted martial arts fight before it even happened. DMX was slated to spar with Eric Martinez in December of 2009. He canceled the event just last week, fearing for his safety.

The event was marketed as a celebrity Alabama Pride MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) event.

DMX, who also has somewhat of a checkered past with the law has been cited as bragging that he was not even going to train for the event, prior to canceling, of course. He was intent on employing "street fighting" techniques in this failed pop culture plot. It's not happening afterall.

Unbelievably, the reason that DMX gave for bowing out of this event was because Thunder Promotions, who put the whole flop together, refused to fix the fight in his favor. Since Thunder Promotions management would not guarantee a win for DMX, he outright refused to participate in the match, sat in his virtual corner of the nonexistent ring, and pouted!

According to TMZ, DMX's manager, Nakia Walker issued a contractual addendum to the original contract with Thunder Promotions, outlined with the following stipulation:

“Event Promoter and Management agree that (DMX) is scheduled to win Boxing Challenge… All parties agree this event has been scheduled to occur only in fun and that the artist involved is not a professional boxer.”

After arriving over ninety minutes late for the charity event in Colorado Springs, at which DMX was slated to perform, fans began chanting, "DMX! DMX!" All-out mayhem ensued. DMX hopped onstage, but the audience couldn't hear him because unfortunately, the microphone and speaker systems were unplugged. This video of security and DMX fighting represents what resulted. A fight!

Is this the same guy who has served jail time for cruelty to animals and drug possession and who was accused of assaulting a sherriff? How's about not signing up for any more fights, in or out of the ring? "Where my dogs at?!"

Have you seen 50 Cent's New Video for the single Baby by Me, featuring Ne-Yo? It's on Before I Self Destruct, which is due out in stores on November 16. The song is hot and the beat is catchy. I must admit that when I first heard it, I thought, "What in the world?! Have a baby by me, baby. Be a millionaire?! How ignorant is that?!" Then I thought about it and it didn't seem so bad afterall! Check it out!

Multi-platinum artist, actor, and musician, Ray J, also known as R & B singer Brandi's brother, is back again for a second season of reality pimpin' on VH-1. The premier episode kicks off tonight. Last time, he brought 14 girls to the mansion in the Hollywood Hills and this time, he's stepped it up a notch with 19 ~~flunkies~~ girls. Personally, I could really do without the guy. He's whiney and has a classic little man's complex. Foofey-Foofey is still the player of the decade.

Who else is more handsome than Flavor-Flav and has women falling at his feet like he does? Noone! Anyone who can think of just one person who tops Flavor wins a new car! Promise! And let's not forget that it was Flave who started the whole genre' of "I Love..." reality television shows. Then came "I Love New York" and all the others.
