On March 30th, Google unveiled their new social media tool called the "+1 button." The +1 button allows Google users to express approval (or recommend) of a particular search result. The +1 service is slowly being rolled out to people with Google Profiles, but it can be turned on manually at Google Labs. According to Google, the +1 button is shorthand for "this is pretty cool" or "you should check this out."

Click +1 to publicly give something your stamp of approval. Your +1's can help friends, contacts, and others on the web find your recommendations on businesses, products, and services. In

Facebook has over 500 million users. Half log in daily and half of those spend close to an hour chatting with friends, playing games and engaging with pages they “Like”.

Lead generation is a priority for all businesses and Facebook Pages offer an opportunity to gather leads in a social, non threatening way. The time that users spend engaging with the pages they “like” is an opportunity for businesses to build relationships and get to know their market on a more personal level.

If you would like to grow your business, Facebook Pages can help. Below are examples of pages Entrepreneur Fuel

PowerPoint is a presentation software program that is part of the Microsoft Office package. PowerPoint uses a graphical approach to presentations in the form of slide shows that accompany the oral delivery of a topic. Unfortunately, creating effective PowerPoint presentations is not necessarily an easy proposition. The truth is, bad PowerPoint presentations happen to good people. And quite often, the person giving the presentation is just as much a victim as the poor folks listening to the presentation. Creating a professional, unique presentation can be much easier than you think. Creating effective PowerPoint presentations takes practice, but with a few

Seems as though there is no evidence that lowering taxes on big business (or the wealthiest) helps main street businesses and the economy overall. Sometimes, the tax benefits are eaten up by a rise in prices, like the rise in oil prices recently due to uncertainty around the world. Other times, the benefits don't extend to all social classes or the benefits disappear after a short time. The bottom line? All tax cuts should be thoroughly researched and supported before we as a democracy allow one person or one party to act to the detriment of small business.

QUESTION: How do I create a Facebook account for my business?

ANSWER: Business accounts in Facebook are called "pages" or "fan pages." Every page must be associated with a personal profile. Word of caution! Facebook has been known to suspend accounts when users attempt to use their personal profile page as a business page. So create your personal profile page first. Then add as many "business pages" as your social media strategy requires.

Visit the create a page application on Facebook and choose what type of page you would like to
