The reasons are many (none that legit), but mainly it's been out of sheer laziness. So for Ephman to strap on the 'ol blogging feed bag, it's got to be something important.</p> <p>Remember his famous <a href="http://www.ephman.com/blog/how-change-world-your-own-way">"How To Change The World Your Own Way"</a> post he made so long ago? BTW Ephman thanks you all, all 75 people that read that article (the rest of the internet people are pathetic). As he thinks about that post he's been pondering a lot about this Occupy Wall Street thing. And here's the story.</p> <p>What are you crying about in the first place? Well the great Canadian (Disclaimer: Ephman is Canadian (Go Leafs Go!)) media foundation <a href="http://www.adbusters.org/blogs/adbusters-blog/occupywallstreet.html">Adbusters wrote</a>:</p> <ul> <li><strong>"ordain a Presidential Commission tasked with ending the influence money has over our representatives in Washington."</strong></li> </ul> <p>This is the main issue the occupiers have. WTF? Seriously "a Presidential Commission"? Don't you see the problem with that? </p> <p>Go Occupy The White House, the Senate, the Congress, and every other corrupt idiot politician that has stolen WAY more money from you then Wall Street ever has. Remember NASA's $10,000 toilet seat?</p> <p><strong>So you're crying because Wall Street Stole Your House!</strong> Wall Street never stole your house. It was never yours to begin with. You're making $45,000 a year, and took a loan out for $500,000 on a house. Again you see something wrong with that? Guess you're that sucker PT Barnum speaks about. </p> <p><strong>Wall Street made you go bankrupt!</strong> You maxed out your credit card and never took the time to read that you get charged like a 1,000,000,000% compounded monthly if you don't pay it all off? WTF? This is America. Albeit the education system here sucks! But didn't you learn how to read? Well you should have read the terms of the agreement when you signed up for that magically delicious credit card?</p> <p><strong>Wall Street won't let you have a job!</strong> Boo Hoo Hoo! Ephman moved to this country with literally $100 and a hockey bag of clothes. He's not looking for sympathy. But he took that idea of the "American Dream" and he worked his ass off to help startup <a href="http://www.unicast.com">an internet advertising company</a>, and he worked his ass of to <a href="http://www.luminocity360.com">start an ad agency</a>. What do you think the pilgrims would have thought about you? Or WWI or WWII veterans. Because the reality is that most 1%'ers are self made. Don't listen to idiots like Herman Cain that say "If you're not rich 'blame yourself'" Because sometimes luck has something to do with it. So go out there and make something. </p> <p>Well guess what Occupiers of Wall Street. Even with your protests the Government and the Big Mega-Global Corps are winning. They're still keeping you stupid, they're still keeping you in their back pocket, and they're still keeping you quiet. Because the media doesn't care about you.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size: larger;">So What Should You Do?</span></strong></p> <p>What you should do is pack up your tents. Go park yourselves at Exxon's front doorstep, Bank of America's lobby, the steps of Congress, the halls of the Senate. Storm everyplace the President is and his equally illegitimate opponents. Go tell them! Tell the people that can actually make any change happen. Because just sitting on your ass in a park, and not direct confrontation will do nothing. Your cause ends up like most... it'll fizzle out.</p> <p>The mega global corps have more money, the politians have no incentive to change, and the media companies see no upside in reporting it. Go confront, be the change, just don't talk about it in a park.</p> <p>Disclaimer: Confrontation does not meet violent. Don't turn into the police force that are putting people in the hospital... So the lineup is pretty sweet eh?</p> <p>Ephman's wife Kawen (gets a mention here from time to time), is the chick that get him to head out to all these plays. Actually he sees way more then he blogs about. That's not the point. So when she was getting the tickets she was offered seats in the Playground? No idea what it is, but hopefully some bandaids will be involved.</p> <p>As usual he doesn't like to know what a play is about before the show. But the little he does know about this is that two kids meet in the nurses room. The nurses room, niiice. We've all been there. And somehow they stay friends or something as they grow up? Maybe something like that? When it came out it was GM's fastest car. But the funniest thing is that it's basically a crazy insane Buick Regal. Just think about how cool this car was when it pulled up aside you with it's black tinted windows? You knew there was one cool dude sitting behind that wheel. Even though you couldn't see him. But you could hear the AC/DC blasting right? The thing came with a 235 horsepower V6. Light for a muscle car eh? Top speed on this puppy is 431 km/h. That comes out to $2853.82 per km/h. Put it this way, Ephman's car relates to $102.56 per km/h. Bugatti been racing since the early 1920's. So you figure they could make a car go fast. Not too hard when you're packing a 16 cylinder 8.0L, 1185 horsepower engine. Not to mention wow that's one sweet looking design. Looks like it just sticks to the ground and slips through the air like a cylinder. Fine you'll never be able to afford the $1.23 million price tag. But is sure is nice to dream. This is one the most beautiful cars on the planet right?<br /> </div> <h1><span style="font-size: medium;">1986 Lotus 97T<br /> <br /> </span></h1> <p>Nobody said that these coolest cars need to be a production vehicle. This Formula One car is not only on every F1 fans “Most beautiful car”, but it also put up the number. Helps though when Ayrton Senna the finest race car driver ever drove it. It was powered by a Renault EF15b 1,492cc V6 turbocharged power plant, rocking in at about 810 horsepower. In 16 races, it had 3 wins, 8 poles and 3 fastest laps. That black and gold livery is so cool, that the current Lotus/Renault team brought it back for this year (and that's a hot looking car too). OK OK if you're an F1 fan you'll remember that is wasn't the most reliable car, and that cost Senna the championship, and the team the constructors championship. BUT BUT BUT, when it did dive you were assured you had a great chance to win.<br /> </p> <h1><span style="font-size: medium;">1970 Plymouth Superbird</span><br /> </h1> <p>There were muscle cars... and then there was the Superbird. This car was built to race. NASCAR back when it ran ran real stock cars had a rule that one car per dealer needed to be built. So this is one rare car. The car has this shark nose, but the tail's got that sweet spoiler. You couldn't bring this thing into a car wash. But this car was so cool, Richard Petty defected from Ford just to drive it. And that's why it makes the bad ass car list. This bird had a 426 Hemi shoving out 426 horsepower in a V8. Actually you should.</p> </div> </div> </div> <p>Ephman got this message from <a href="http://www.bobwiseman.ca/home.php">Bob Wiseman himself</a> (totally crazy right?) that he was coming to NYC. OMG was that just the coolest thing of the new year so far.</p> <p>See Ephman's been a fan of his since his home address was Sam the Record Man on Yonge Street. This cassette tape with a whaked out cover yelled at him <strong>"Presented By Lake Michigan Soda"</strong>. He ripped off the celphane wrapper even before he payed for the thing and threw it in his walkman. Don't worry Ephman did eventually pay for it. </p> <p>The songs were so weird, and made him feel so uncomfortable. Kind of like this blog... So bang, this tape was in his walkman for the next month. Non-stop Bob Wiseman all day long all night long.</p> <p>This guy can't really be defined well. And that's a good thing. Because so much music that comes out these days is made straight for iTunes (and they said video killed the radio star ha!). But something that seems to stay true to all his music that Ephman's been exposed to is the hauntingly beautful, and emotionally complex melodies. And that's hard these days. His personality gets him the chicks. But he did checkout Craigslist's Erotic Personal thing before the Craigslist killer buggered it up for everybody. Online dating sites are the original in social media. Online dating sites take the ugliest people and makes them into beauty stars. Ephman's buddy Vali8tor was the king of Jdate. He's not the best looking dude (neither is Ephman), not the smartest (neither is Ephman), not the coolest (neither is Ephman). But man his Jdate profile name Vali8tor, got him the babes... So worth the subscription. And yes software is a technology. Vali8tor got a girlfriend out of it. So much better then the wheel. Seriously. This is like the best thing we got for virtual reality. But Bruce Cockburn (pronounced Co-burn) over came his name disability to be one of his generations finest singer songwriters. And he's one of the best guitar players out there. A total musician's musician. Amazing. Which is the reason Ephman's going... plus the venue City Winery is great.</p> <p>Nothing wrong with spending an evening drinking great wine, and listening to songs about rocket launchers. He's really hoping though that it won't just be Bruce and guitar. As great a player he is... a band will probably be needed to keep Ephman's attention longer then 4 songs. If not there won't be any crying. But a drum machine won't hurt either :)</p> <p>It'd be a really fun experiment to one day take Bruce's songs and put them to Punk. This is sort of like the beer bong, "On Tap". Like you can just put your mouth there and have the beer injected into you. Ya that would be cool. Beer injections... Forget the pint glass stuff. Just stick in in him. Having the beer poured upside down doesn't make you sicker after you like drink 12 of these things does it? The banks will still be around... no need to start using your grandmothers old mattress you still have up in the attic. It's all cool. However, even more U.S banks will be bought by those pesky Canadian banks. Canada Trust will be reintroducing the Johnny Cash card in the land of Johnny Cash (finally right?). It should be a huge hit. As far as the stock market goes for 2011, we'll see another huge year for returns for absolutely no reason. Making money on the stock market will be just like that crappy Ronco oven you see on TV all the time, "Set it and forget it". Just make sure you have a parachute for 2012... ok? But Ephman will attempt to predict ALL Oscar related events in 2011. James Franco and Anne Hathaway are hosting this little shindig. First off James should be accepting awards, not doling them out... and Anne should probably fix up that "I love dating thieves", problem before giving away golden statues. So the Oscar will suck this year, don't ask Ephman why, but it's glaringly obvious (James Franco & Anne Hathaway). Not to say James isn't cool, he's totally cool. This is the year that the 'Net starts to suck. And suck big time. Twitter will start to fade, because really nobody clicks on anything on twitter. Advertisers will realize this in the first quarter of 2011. Hamas will lob some rockets over the wall (not The Wall), and Israel will level whatever small town it came from (again). Both Democrats (to save their skin), and Republicans (to say "I told you so") will speak out against most things that President Obama will want to achieve in the second half of his lame presidency. Talk about a lame duck president. He was lame before he was lame. 100% of Republican senators will come out of the closet (not that there's anything wrong with that). Canada will continue to be nice. Germany will continue to follow the rules. France will continue to complain. Cambodia will be trendy.
