i had to shoot these through the window since it was locked. i’ll trespass every now and then for a good photo but this was right in the middle of downtown perry, florida – way too many witnesses. & i think i’m a bit past the age for recklessness.

now i want some ice cream…who am i kidding? i always want ice cream.

yay for getting back into blogging. i’ve missed you all. i thought it would be a good idea to do a bit of a diy link share. i am making this christmas as handmade or shop local as possible. most of the gifts i’ll be giving will be made by yours truly, but a good chunk i bought via etsy or local shop. i’m 95% done with it all. i just have to make a few last minute gifts & wrap them all. i actually do not enjoy wrapping all that much. i seem to have a creative block when wrapping. le-sigh.

speaking of wrapping, i stumbled upon these printable holiday cards & am so happy i did. i’m planning on using some. maybe it will help make my gifts look pretty on the outside.

i’m think i might paint on a few mugs as gifts for friends. possibly with silly inside jokes or cute sketches.

are you making anything special as gifts for the holidays?

back in mid october i met my best bud and her daughter (my god daughter) at walt disney world. i brought along my diana mini and was able to get a few interesting shots.

i heart disney so much. my absolute favorite rides: thunder mountain & the haunted mansion (above). & my favorite thing to do there? sit on main street after a long day of walking around, eating a huge caramel & chocolate apple all while watching the parade. that is my happy place.

what’s your happy place?

this was right after she decided to help my mom do some gardening. pebbles’s idea of helping is chasing olive (the westie in the background) & then rolling around in the dirt. she loves it. she got a bath right after this, which she kind of hates but is the price she pays for getting all gross. i think it’s worth it for her.

my schedule during the week is all out of whack lately. i wake up around 4:30 am to walk the dogs, out the door by 7:00 am to go to work & not home until 5:30pm if i am lucky. then i hang out for a bit with the boy & hit the gym at 7:30. followed by: dinner, shower, a tiny bit of relax time, & sleep. being able to fit everything else i like to do in is pretty hard. i need to organize my weekends better i think.

any tips on time management? or organizing? sigh…
