epic dream of Princeton; in the northwest corner of a great reading room I was paying for a haircut; the barber said “for $20 you can get a nice haircut with details”–I had gotten the budget haircut apparently; in paying I had money with pictures of Robin on the back, more like photos with money bills printed on the verso; somehow I didn’t have enough money so I went on a campus search for (maybe) a cash machine–why I left the reading room is unclear–and I encountered many people, often security folks at the doors to buildings and rooms; as I waked among the buildings I found myself on a paved path down what I thought was the center of campus and asked someone if the “new campus” was to the right, where we played soccer; I was attempting to return to the reading room to get my stuff and so kept asking for directions; I came to the edge of campus and saw the street continue on into a slum or barrio-type area, thinking that the pristine campus was surrounded by slums; I described the building I was looking for by saying that it was the first big room one would come to entering campus from the “front”; in the middle of my search I passed through many buildings where lectures were going on, people assembled or assembling; once or twice I think I saw the barber, was guided at times by female students; all the buildings were old with interior passages from building to building, as though the new had been attached to the old as add-ons; passageways with windows into the classrooms and (small) lecture halls

READING: So, in recent draws there has been discussion of incorporating (or recognizing) the feminine elements discovered in my psychic journey, and last draw ended with 2Cups, suggesting that a connection is being established between my conscious self (masculine) and my unconscious self; Temperance suggests that I know that or have that now; from earlier draws attention has been focused on navigating a vessel across a stretch of water, or traveling on the very dividing point between conscious action and subconscious experience, so that is a skill that I have been developing; 2Swords implies a choice to me–one thing impeding my journey to the unconscious was indicated to be Pentacle-vibes, a comfortable life, monetary resources, and some satisfaction in all that; the oarsman has set out to leave his country of origin and like a refugee or immigrant is looking for a new country–scrutinizing the subconscious and examining one’s wealthy lifestyle involves a departure in the very recognition–by looking at them one is no longer blind to them; the oarsman will be judged by his choice and by his steady pursuit of better things, among them authenticity

Organizations that serve the public interest often have important and sometimes critical information to share with their members and with the public. Our mobile app publishing tools empower such organizations to put that crucial information, literally, at the tips of the fingers of those who need it, when they need it. We help organizations provide information to target audiences by creating an app that can be installed on any smartphone, just in case its owner ever needs the information.

Enter the Just in Case app. A Just in Case app puts vital information at the fingertips of users. In addition to educational items that users may refer to in various situations (think of a checklist of do’s and don’ts in an emergency), the app supplies one-touch calling, emailing, and texting buttons so that help is just a touch away.

What is the Just in Case for Colleges app?

The Just in Case app is a low- cost way to deliver a useful service to students who are at risk for a mental health crisis or suicide. It is a mobile web app designed to work on a range of smartphone platforms. It is distributed at the campus level and not through the Apple App Store or Android Marketplace. Students install the Just in Case icon with your name below it on the homescreen of the phone (illustrated to the left).

With 18-24 year olds representing the highest smartphone ownership among all age demographics, the smartphone is an ideal tool to deliver critical information and connect the student in a crisis situation with help. Its primary purpose is to facilitate connection with emergency response resources on and around campus.

Mental health professionals have helped to develop the basic app template and content, but this is just the starting place for schools that want to include their own content and customize the look and feel of the app to mesh with programs they already have in place.
