So everyone needs to read webcomics.

And as I endeavor to do as I say, I started to read Nemu * Nemu. When I started it, I got it right away. It is a comic for expression sake (these are great). Amusing things happen to these characters, they learn, and grow together on all the expected levels of conceptualization. It was little too straightforward, and predictable in terms of humor, and plot. I needed to cut it with more edgy comics, so I start Penny Arcade.

Penny Arcade is just what I wanted. I have been reading them periodically for a long time, so now is my opportunity to start from the beginning. These guys are super funny, and I definitely relate with it more. I am continually surprised by what I read. But I started having problems with it.

Did you see what I did…? Oh man, I started a couple of epics. These mo-fo’s have been running for years, and I each one got pretty difficult to catch up on as time passed. I just started reading them slower, and more slowly. Reading Penny Arcade with Nemu * Nemu was getting me by, but Penny Arcade classic, is pretty hard to follow. Man writes about console(s) game(s) that have been gone for years and Lady writes what is essentially baby’s first comic- flawlessly executed. So guess what, I started another one.

I started Balls 2 That. This one is by Luke McKay, whom I know from Rooster Teeth Comics. The main character recites (Poe)try to a pesky raven, and convinces it to leave with a Klondike bar. Man that was funny. And it sped me back on my way to finishing Nemu * Nemu, and Penny Arcade.

So here I am, reading three webcomics to get me through the day. And I love it. Each one of these is a good way to pass the time individually, and all three are pretty good companions of each other in this circumstance.

I love pokemon. I would be a legendary Squirtle- Unobtainable. And somehow I would know Fly.

By request, a comic from the mind of my Dad: “Hey Wes you should make a comic about when you asked me if we could take the batteries out of Mamie.” That is what I heard, but I didn’t know what he was talking about. So he explained that, once, a long time ago, the family was gathered together while I was a toddler, and my cousin (Mamie) was a baby. During that visit Mamie become inconsolably upset, and began to cry without stopping. I walked up and asked, “Can you take the batteries out?”. Then he said I should do it Family Circus style. LYB Dad!

Introducing a recurring character!!! Office Schlub.

For those who are not aware – “Will it Blend?” is a viral  promotional campaign from the co-founder of the Blendtec Blender. It is a serious blender for a serious blender.  My favorite episode is the suspenseful thrilling Chuck Norris installment.

I accidentally said ‘Uniccordion’ while attempting to say ‘..uniform accordion’. That conversation was about jQuery accordions, and uniformity within that site’s multiple instances of jQuery Accordions. I looked the word up and found a couple of results, knocking it out of the Googlewhack category of search terms. But what I found was pretty cool. Once a Googlewhack is discovered and documented, it ceases to be. They are majestic that way.

So here is a comic about a quote I saw. Sometimes I look up quotes, and sometimes I find quotes about ideas that have crossed  my mind. I don’t remember which this was, but it was a little silly to think that turtles don’t think about other things. So in at least one case (this case), the quote is wrong, meaning that in a subsection of turtles in the universe… its possible for Ninja turtles to exist.
