AirAsia Flight AK6443 Skided Off The Runway

AirAsia Flight AK6443 bound for Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA2)(KUL) skided off the runaway while taxiing at Sultan Ismail Airport, Kota Bharu (KBR).

The incident which involved an Airbus A320 plane bearing registration no 9M-AFU occurred at 10:25pm local time (GMT +8), yesterday.

According to a statement by AirAsia, all crew and passengers on board the flight are safe and no injuries have been reported.

Another AirAsia Flight AK6446 from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Bharu, cancelled due to the incident.

Total of 6 critically ill patients died while 1 in critical condition after fire broke out at at an intensive care unit (ICU) of Sultanah Aminah Hospital, Johor Bahru earlier this morning.

They were among the seven critically ill patients in the southern ICU on the second floor of the hospital; they were dependent on ventilators under normal circumstances and could not be moved without their beds.

One of the 2 injured staff, on the other hand, critical and a student on practical training also suffered burns.

The fire did not spread to other areas of the hospital.

Helikopter Nuri Milik TUDM Terhempas Atas SMK Balung

Sebuah helikopter jenis Nuri milik Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia (TUDM) yang dikatakan berusia mencecah 55 tahun, terhempas atas salah sebuah bangunan Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Balung di Tawau 9:35pagi ini.

Kesemua anak kapal dan 14 penumpang pesawat dilaporkan, terselamat namun keadaan mereka masih belum diketahui.

Menurut satu kenyataan dikeluarkan Markas Tentera Udara Kementerian Pertahanan, helikopter tersebut yang sedang membuat latihan penerbangan telah membuat pendaratan cemas berhampiran sekolah itu.

"Helikopter yang membawa 14 penumpang berlepas dari pangkalan pada jam 7.35 pagi bagi membuat latihan penerbangan biasa.

"Semua anak kapal dan penumpang helikopter tersebut selamat," katanya.

Bangunan terlibat rosak teruk dan beberapa 4 orang pelajar dan seorang kakitangan sekolah, cedera.

Niantic Inc has introduced a new Pokémon appraisal system as Trainer Duel is expected to come to Pokémon Go, soon.

It is also to facilitate those Trainers who do not know how to calculate Pokémon IVs by themselves. 😜

It is not as quantitatively detailed as information provided by GoStats or Perfect Pocket, but pay attention to what our Team Leaders (Spark, Blanche, and Candela) have to say,

FIRST STATEMENT

⏹"Overall, your <Pokémon> simply amazes me. It can accomplish anything!"

- It means, that Pokémon has an IV rating between 81%-100%.

⏹"Overall, your <Pokémon> is a strong Pokémon. You should be proud!"

- It means, that Pokémon has an IV rating between 65%-80%.

Suicide Bombers Killed 61 Shi'ites, 207 Injured In Kabul

Twin explosions ripped through a protest march in the Afghan capital, Kabul, killing at least 61 people and wounding more than 200.

The blasts hit Deh Mazang square as thousands of people from the Hazara minority marched to demand changes to the route of a planned power line, chanting "death to discrimination".

The demonstrators had gathered to demand a multi-million-dollar power line pass through their electricity-starved province of Bamiyan, one of the most deprived areas of Afghanistan with a large Hazara population.

The 500-kilovolt TUTAP power line, which would connect the Central Asian nations of Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan with electricity-hungry Afghanistan and Pakistan, was originally set to pass through the central province.

The government, though, re-routed it through the mountainous Salang pass north of Kabul, saying the shorter route would speed up the project and save millions of dollars.

Taliban said they were not behind it.

The aftermath of the attack - blood and body parts were everywhere, with debris strewn around.

Prime Minister of Turkey said on Friday night that factions of the military had attempted a coup.

"Some people illegally undertook an illegal action outside of the chain of command. The government elected by the people remains in charge. This government will only go when the people say so.

Security forces loyal to the Government had been called in to do what is necessary."

Rebellious military forces shut two bridges over the Bosporus in Istanbul, and fighter jets were seen flying over Istanbul and Ankara.

They also have shut down Istanbul's Ataturk International Airport, and all flights have been cancelled.

KLM Flight 1617 from Amsterdam to Istanbul and British Airways Flight 680 from London to Istanbul were seen abandoning their flight paths.

In the capital Ankara, gunshots were heard, as military jets and helicopters were seen flying overhead.

The military also has taken over major television and radio stations in Turkey.

As the battle intensified, bombs exploded in Istanbul and Turkish people were seen rushing to ATM machines to withdraw money as much as possible.

Minutes after Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan called people to mobilise against the military, millions of Turks went to streets.

#Nice - A Lorry Rammed Into Crowd, Killing 77 Including Children

Scores of people have been killed and dozens more injured after a truck plowed through a crowd during Bastille Day celebrations in Nice, in what has been called “the worst attack” in the city’s history.

The truck slammed into the crowd gathered on the city’s Promenade des Anglais, which runs along the Mediterranean seafront, and sent those who could escape screaming in panic as they fled the scene.

The attack happened after the crowd watched a fireworks display.

A 31-year old Nice resident of Tunisian descent who drove the truck was killed by the police after he fired on the crowd. Guns and weapons found inside the truck.

Woke up to a news that another airport was attacked. This time, the Istanbul Atatürk Airport - the 10th busiest airport in the world.

Three attackers were involved, with one reportedly opening fire with a Kalashnikov as they targeted an entry point to the terminal.

Recent bombings in Turkey have been linked to either Kurdish separatists or the so-called Islamic State group.

This looks like a major co-ordinated assault.

According to authorities, some of the civilians wounded had sustained serious injuries and the number of casualties is expected to increase. The takeoff of scheduled flights from the airport halted and passengers were transferred to hotels. Flights to the airport have been diverted as well.

Some friends shared this screenshot and and it was very appalling.

Abell was asking this lady (probably a non-Muslim) to eat elsewhere to show some respect towards him.

Reading from the tweet, Abell [Twitter: @itsnabell] shared his unwarranted reckless racist thought that he wished the non-Muslim woman to show some respect towards him (as he was fasting) by eating elsewhere.

Yes, the opinion given was extremely of religious intolerance and should have been rightfully condemned across the world.

As a Muslim, he should have understood Islam teaches Muslims to be respectful towards other believers.

If his belief as a Muslim is strong enough, regardless of whatever others do (as long as they're not stopping him from his rightful obligations), there is nothing could influence him not to remain as a good Muslim.

Nevertheless, it was found that Abell probably deleted the tweet after he received so much negative feedbacks. This could be understood from the tweet he posted at 2:35pm on 6th Jun 2016.

Malaysia Airlines #MH1 Hit By Severe Turbulence

A Malaysia Airlines flight MH1 en route to Kuala Lumpur from London Heathrow was hit by severe turbulence when flying over the Bay of Bengal today, which left some passengers and crew suffering from minor injuries.

A small number of affected passengers and crew have been treated by medical officers when the Flight MH1, an Airbus A380 aircraft, landed on time at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at 6pm local time today.

The driver of this car with plate no PFK 7235 attempting to get some money from us.

We drove along Jalan Kuala Krai heading towards Machang.

He passed by our car using emergency lane and was trying to get into our lane, just in front of us. When he was unable to do so, he drove back to the emergency land and gave signal to talk to us.

So, we talked to him. He claimed by not allowing his car to move into our lane, we scratched his car and asked for some money from us.

We refused to pay because there was no friction between our cars and asked him to follow us to the nearest police station. He just drove away, lamenting some bad words.

Rayani Air Stops Flying For 3 Months, AirAsia Is Offering Relief

A press statement issued by Malaysia's Department Of Civil Aviation (DCA) today states that DCA has provisionally suspended Rayani Air's Air Operator Certificate and an inquiry will be held on 12th May 2016.

According to DCA and Malaysia's Transport Ministry, two notices were issued last month but the airline has failed to improve its services.

It was said that claims of faulty airframes and unpaid salaries were among the reasons that apparently led to Rayani Air suspending its operations on Saturday, 9th April 2016.

“The pilots had raised concerns with the windows and hydraulic systems since late January. They were concerned some of these issues could potentially lead to accidents.

There were numerous technical issues, one being a broken cockpit window that happened on 9th February 2016. These “technical problems” caused delays and cancellations in flights since February.”

Rayani Air's CEO Ravi Alagendrran alleged several department heads had conspired to shut the airlines down by inciting the pilots to strike.

The restructuring exercise would enable the company to weed out staff who had planned the downfall of the airline.

“The suspension and restructuring will be used to identify and get rid of these individuals.

“We do not know the motive behind their actions but this is an opportunity to clean the company up”, he said.

In another development, AirAsia is offering affected passengers and travel between today until 27th April 2016, 50% off for tickets flying on the same day and destination as stated on the passengers' tickets issued by Rayani Air.

Flydubai FZ981 Just Crashed, Killing All Passengers And Crew

Flydubai flight FZ981 has crashed in the southern Russian city of Rostov-on-Don killing all 62 passengers and crew on board. The flight was en route from Dubai and crashed during a landing approach.

Flight FZ981 attempted to land before it crashed.

Air-traffic control and local emergency services confirmed that the Boeing 737-800 jet crashed near the runway during a second approach in conditions of poor visibility.

According to preliminary data, the Boeing 738 crashed in poor visibility conditions, some 50-100 meters left of the runway.

Reports indicated the plane was in the air for about two hours in between making an initial attempt to land, and the second attempt, when the plane crashed.

All crew and passengers on board the plane were killed in the crash. According to preliminary reports there were 62 people on board, including seven crew members.

Pleasant Experience Flying With Rayani Air RN0164

Today I flew with Malaysia's first Sharia-compliant airline, Rayani Air.

The flight, RN0164 scheduled to depart from klia2, the low-cost carrier terminal at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at 2:15pm heading to Sultan Ismail Airport, Pengkalan Chepa in Kelantan.

BACKGROUND INFO

Rayani Air launched first commercial flights on 20 December 2015 banning alcohol on board and serving only halal food on services from Kuala Lumpur (KUL), Langkawi (LGK), Kota Bharu (KBR) and other future destinations.

Ironically, the airline's founders, who used parts of their first names for naming the carrier, are Hindus — Ravi Alagendrran and his wife, Karthiyani Govindan.

Both assured that passengers of all faiths would be welcome on the flights although they are primarily eyeing the Muslim market.

“This is not a matter of segregation. We have a target market and anyone wishing to travel in a modest and alcohol free environment will feel right at home.”

Being Sharia-compliant (the 4th in the world after Iran Air, Saudia Airlines and Royal Brunei Airlines) it means it is compulsory for its Muslim female flight attendants to wear hijab while serving on board as well as Prophet Muhammad’s supplication before HIS travel will be recited before take-off. Non-Muslim crew have to be decently dressed.

Currently it has two Boeing 737-400 aircraft with a capacity of 188 passengers each and based at LGK. It has plans to add another four aircraft - two Boeing 737-400 and two Boeing 737-800 by 2017.

Other Sharia-compliant airlines in the world like Iran Air require all female flight attendants to wear hijab at all times on board while Saudia Airlines, Saudi Arabia's flag carrier does not serve alcohol and bans passengers from bringing it on board.

UK will have its own Sharia-compliant airline next year when Firnas Airways plans to launch its first route between London and Sylhet in Bangladesh.

TRAVELLING EXPERIENCE

My experience checking in with Rayani Air was definitely 6 stars! Definitely way beyond 5 stars!

The staff stood up as soon as he saw me standing way in front of me, smiling with Malaysian salutation. As soon as I approached the counter, he greeted me and broke the ice.

Then, he duly asked my preference for seating arrangement. Prior confirming it, system wise, he reconfirmed my preference with smile. Once I acknowledged it, he proceeded with attending to my luggage.

As soon as he started doing it, the female staff who was standing behind him, took over the task. She took the boarding pass and courteously explained to me the details. She never stopped smiling while explaining it. Honestly, what a beautiful smile.

Knowing other passengers were waiting behind me, they were doing their best not to waste time yet they were courteously taking some time serving me. This allowed me to experience the uniquely different service, which makes them better than other airlines.

First wow factor. Am I going to have another one?

The moment I went on board Rayani Air flight RN0164, immediately I noticed how old the plane was. The wall and overhead compartments looked they had been there for many years.

The brand new seats, however, the best compared to Malaysia Airlines's and AirAsia's.

(I flew with all 3 airlines this month, it was obvious to me.)

Rayani Air serves pretty decent refreshment on board.

Inside the refreshment box served to Economy Class's passengers - a muffin, a pouch of apple juice and a packet of salted peanuts.

It serves a muffin, a pouch of apple juice and a packet of salted peanuts for Economy Class's passengers. However, I found it difficult to enjoy the muffin as its 2-layer muffin cup was too thick.

There is nothing to be proud of its salted peanuts too. I could eat the entire basket of peanuts served by Malaysia Airlines but I found it not to my liking to finish off the entire packet of the one served by Rayani Air.

Some people told me the flight attendants served on board Rayani Air's flights were gorgeous. I was a bit sceptical.

Well that was until I saw it myself throughout entire flight. They were freaking good-looking! Now I believe Rayani Air is recruiting models to become its flight attendants.

Models or not, what made it even better, the way they served passengers with utter politeness and courtesy - words carefully chosen, clearly spoken and those were delivered with a smile and lively gestures.

As we were leaving the plane, passengers were given full attention by all crew members as they lined up to thank us for flying Rayani Air, personally. The captain of the flight was the last person to do so.

Their act looked sincere compared to crew members of other airlines who often behaved like they thought passengers were not their priority anymore, as we disembarked.

As a Muslim, it was refreshing to hear salam, “Bismillahi Rahmani Rahim” ًbefore an announcement, a do'a recited before take-off and “Alhamdulillah” uttered as soon as the plane landed.

Overall it was a pleasant experience flying Rayani Air. I hope they will address all shortcomings in near future. They have just started their business, to be fair.

I will fly Rayani Air, again. Definitely.

YaPEIM - The Money Meant For The Poor Muslims And Orphans, Not An Event In Paris

Muslims in Malaysia have been donating their money to Malaysian Islamic Economic Development Foundation (YaPEIM) so it could take care of Muslims particularly the ophans and the poor Muslims.

And those entrusted with safeguarding the fund used the money of RM290,000 to organise a “national symposium” on marriage, family, entrepreneurship and management in Paris?

Honestly, there was no place in Malaysia which was conducive enough for the event?

What were the benefits or ROI of organising such event in Paris compared to anywhere in Malaysia?

So, why don't we have #ASEAN2015 in Paris as well?

The money should have been used for the ophans and the poor Muslims!

No-Confidence Motion, Najib Razak Scares

All Barisan Nasional leaders and representatives have been summoned to Seri Perdana tonight to discuss the motion of no-confidence against Najib Razak which has been filed by PKR MP Hee Loy Sian.

A letter calling Barisan Nasional ministers, deputy ministers, elected representatives, and senators, to attend a meeting to be held at Prime Minister's official residence, Seri Perdana tonight.

The motion will be debated in the upcoming parliamentary session which begins tomorrow.

Tonight's meeting is an important one because of speculation that some BN lawmakers willing to support the motion against Najib brought by the opposition.

Some MPs might not attend the pre-council meeting, namely, Pagoh MP Muhyiddin Yassin, Semporna MP Shafie Apdal and Gua Musang MP Tengku Razaleigh.

Najib is under pressure over alleged 1MDB's financial wrongdoing and over the RM2.6 billion political donation channelled into his personal bank accounts from unknown Middle Eastern benefactors.
