New album ‘With All My Heart’

A cafe site was set up in January on a portal site in January named ‘Album for JaeBum’ and fans who had joined had gone through the process of making songs and recording to produce the album for JaeBum.

The recording was done on 27th February and coming 27th March, the album ‘With All My Heart’ will be released. The day will also be Park JaeBum’s 200th day since he left Korea.

There will be 3 songs included in the album like ‘To You’, ‘You are my heart’ and ‘A step at a time’. There will be 100 copies of the album sold.

Meanwhile, it was announced in late February by JYE Entertainment that JaeBum will leave the group permanently.

TBS drama "Tokujo Kabachi"

Sakurai Sho (28) of Arashi is starring in the TBS drama "Tokujo Kabachi!!" (Sundays at 9PM) and will be joined by Leader Ohno Satoshi (29) in the last episode (airing the 21st). In between filming takes on their regular program the other day, Ohno was dilligently practicing his lines with his close friend, Ninomiya Kazunari (26). The first round of practices went fine. It pretty much became an "Arashi friend performance"*

The story is about a young man with a strong sense of justice who uses the law to help the weak. In the last episode, Tamura (played by Sakurai) is introduced to and illegally joins forces with an "introduction shop"* with the suspicious "fellow lawyer," Inugami (Sakaguchi Kenji), who preys upon people with a lot of debt, and later stands up to him. Tamura's trust gained, Inugami investigates a lawyer named Honda (played by Satoshi) who works in the bar association's discipline department.

In between takes while filming Arashi's regular show, Ohno was zealously practicing his lines. Ninomiya, who appeared in "Letters from Iwo Jima" (2006), is very close friends with Ohno and the two have even formed a concert unit called "Ohmiya SK." Ohno, script in hand and looking concerned about his job, will play a villainous "corrupt lawyer." Although there were a great number of difficult technical terms, it went fine in one take. Ohno received a round of heartfelt applause on the set.

"Sho's got a lot of really hard lines like that; I think that's amazing," Ohno said admiringly. Laughingly, he went on, "Good thing I'm not the lead!"

His hair was temporarily sprayed black for this filming, but immediately following washed it out with a smile, returning to the blonde for his role as Kaibutsu-kun.

Sakurai had this to say about Ohno: "Although he just started filming his own drama, he was repeatedly practicing his lines for this one in between takes. I haven't watched the scenes with him in it, so I'll be looking forward to it."

Upcoming TV series "Personal Taste"

Korean actor Lee Min-ho has warned fans of a fake Twitter account opened up under his name, according to his agency Starhaus Entertainment.

"What people currently know as Lee Min-ho's Twitter is a fake account," said an official at Starhaus on Friday, adding that they are preparing countermeasures to protect the actor's fans.

Lee currently has about 70,000 followers under his account -- more than any other Korean celebrity in the country.

An account can be opened with just an email address and ID on Twitter, a popular U.S.-based online social networking and microblogging service.

Many other overseas and Korean stars including pop groups Girls' Generation and singer Son Dambi have reportedly been taken advantage of by people who opened up accounts in their names.

Lee, 22, shot to stardom throughout Asia after starring in the smash hit TV series "Boys Over Flowers" last year alongside actress Koo Hye-sun and idol group member Kim Hyun-joong of SS501.

He is scheduled to appear in upcoming MBC TV series "Personal Taste", which premieres on March 31, opposite actress Son Ye-jin.

Popular drama "Trick"

The highly popular drama franchise "Trick" is already getting a third movie on May 8 and a spinoff series starting on April 9, but it was revealed on Sunday that it is also getting a new 2-hour special episode, titled "Trick Shinsaku Special 2."

The first "Trick Shinsaku Special" aired in November 2005. Although the new episode has not been given a broadcast date yet, it is expected to air this spring. Starring the combo of Yukie Nakama (30) and Hiroshi Abe (45), the story this time is set in a village where an ancient custom still remains, and a mysterious lullaby seems to bring misfortune.

The episode's guest cast includes Yuko Asano, Kento Nagayama, Satomi Tezuka, Atom Shimojo, and Mari Hamada.

Band Love Psychedelic tenth anniversary

The band Love Psychedelico, which is celebrating the tenth anniversary of its debut this year, has been chosen to provide two theme songs for the Fuji TV drama series "Zettai Reido."

As was revealed earlier this month, "Zettai Reido" stars Aya Ueto (24) in her first role as a police detective. The series is set to premiere on April 13.

Love Psychedelico is in charge of the drama's main theme and opening song. The main theme is a remake of "dry town," a song originally from the band's 2002 album "LOVE PSYCHEDELIC ORCHESTRA." The opening song is "Shadow behind," taken from their "ABBOT KINNEY" album released this past January.

Also called Delico for short, the band is launching a concert tour on June 26, their first one in about two and a half years.

1st Japanese album titled “Thank You” from C.N Blue

Band C.N Blue will release their 1st Japanese album titled “Thank You” this coming March 20,2010 in Shibuya’s Club Quattro. The place will be open from 17.00 local time whilst the event will start from 18.00 local time. The album will cost the fans around 3000 yen (in tax) as their official Japanese site wrote.

C.N Blue company FNC Music,”The band will also throw an Encore concert on April 16 in one of the most popular live music locations in Japan-Tokyo Ebisu Liquid Room. And the whole 1000 tickets were sold out”, he said on March 12.

C.N Blue Live Encore concert is held under the title “CNBLUE 1st Album Release Live Encore ～Special Thanks～” and cost the fans 4500 yen to enter the event.

After recently went on debut with their album ‘Bluetory’ and busy with their domestic activities, now the C.N Blue members are busy preparing for their performance in Japan. C.N Blue was active in Japan since last year and has released 2 single albums in the country.

Lee Hyori’s coming back 4th album

Coming back with her 4th album the end of this month, it has been known that the recording work and the choreography for Lee Hyori’s comeback title song are completed.

Much interests will be in for how the veteran’s prowess will show amidst the promotional period for the girlgroups like So Nyeo Shi Dae, KARA and T-ara.

It is also revealed that Lee Hyori will do hiphop for her 4th album. The title song is an up-tempo dance song. But the level of completeness for the hiphop song is expected to be high. Rainie Yang is about to step onto the Taipei Arena stage for the first time! The concert organisers have been racking their heads thinking of the best show-opener, and have decided to bring in 14 'fog machines' specially from overseas, to create a 3D romantic & fantasy feeling. Just the 2-minute opening scene alone is estimated to cost $3million. Rainie commented: “Wow! It’s like when we used to blow bubbles when we were little; it’s like a Western-version fairy coming down to Earth!”

Rainie’s concert has been given the name ‘Wild Fantasy’ to reflect her whimsical personality. Creative new ideas have gone into both the design of the costumes and the stage; particularly a never-seen-before white ‘balloon’ dress where 680 balloons have been assembled together into an evening gown. She will enter the stage riding on a ‘unicorn’ and will fly from the air towards the 120cm high "rock area" on the stage to have close interaction with her fans. Isn’t she afraid that fans will stick out their ‘pervy’ hands? Rainie laughed: “I’m just afraid my mood will be too HIGH, and I’ll be too busy playing with all the fog!”

Jaejoong appear in a Japanese TV series titled "Sunao ni narenakute"

Hero Jaejoong of Korean idol group TVXQ has been selected to grace the cover of Japanese weekly magazine "Anan", according to various media reports.

After news of the pop idol's April cover feature spread through Korea's Internet portals Thursday, the websites of online bookstores which specialize in selling Japanese magazines, including IchigoIchie and Nepic, reportedly crashed several times due to an explosive number of visitors

"Anan", famous for publishing revealing photographs of male stars, has featured many top Japanese celebrities over the years including singer and actor Takuya Kimura of SMAP, but Hero Jaejoong is the first Hallyu star to be photographed for the cover.

Hero Jaejoong debuted in 2004 in the five-member boy band TVXQ, one of the most successful K-pop acts in Asia. They reportedly have the largest fanbase in the world and have enjoyed great success in the Japanese music industry in particular.

The band became the first foreign artist to top the Oricon singles charts six times with their 27th single "Share the World/We are!" released last year.

He is scheduled to appear in a Japanese TV series titled "Sunao ni narenakute", which is written by popular television writer Kitagawa Eriko and premieres in April on Fuji TV.

IT never fails to strike me how S.H.E. resembles the cutesy Power Puff Girls. Selina Ren, 28, loves pink and is beautiful and smart like Blossom while Hebe Tien, 26, is cool, cute and independent like Bubbles.Ella Chen, 28, is tough, protective and a little tomboyish like Buttercup.

But last Saturday, the girly trio shed their sweet-young-things image and appeared before the crowd at Bukit Jalil National Stadium as confident, sophisticated and alluring young women. The metamorphosis was not unexpected as S.H.E.is in its ninth year in the E-circle and all three are in their late 20s.

Ella’s look that night was the most shocking of the three. Although still stubbornly retaining a short bob despite some fans’ wish for her to let her hair grow, it was a completely different Ella from the one who was once confused as a boy. In a glittering red-tube dress that complemented the fiery redness of her hair, Ella sizzled like a petite, sexy pop diva. Gone also were the flashy sneakers that she had always favoured over heels. As the concert kicked off with hot dance moves and fast numbers like Miss Universe, Superstar, Boom and Super Model, Ella sang, danced and pranced on stage with her group mates in three-inchers.

“Our dance moves are newly choreographed and our wardrobe has been given a new, sexy twist. “I’m also dancing in heels for the first time.It’s a breakthrough for me!” she declared to cheers from the crowd. It must have been quite a feat because Ella had previously hurt her back in a fall from a three-storey building during a TV show which earned her almost a month’s stay in the hospital.

When the girls belted out Planet 612 from their latest album, FM S.H.E., they swapped their sexy disco get-ups for feathery tutus and posed as cute yellow, pink and blue canaries in a giant bird’s nest which had been raised from the stage floor. Hebe hit all the high notes in this song beautifully, highlighting again why she has always been hailed as the best singer in the group. With the change of theme from explosive sexiness to angelic beauty, the selection of songs also turned lovey as the trio showcased its hallmark powerful harmonies in the likes of Wu Yue Tian (Mayday), Ni Zui Jin Hai Hao Ma (How Have You Been Lately?), Zen Me Ban (What To Ao?) and Ke Ai Wan Sui (Long Live Loveliness).

Hebe kicked off the solo performance segment with Ozzie Nelson’s Dream A Little Dream of Me, dressed in a silver tube which boasted a blue velvet train.With just a piano and guitar as accompaniments, Hebe’s clear, strong vocals made this 1931 hit all her own that night.

Next up was Selina, who came onstage in a black glittery tube.Although the dance moves were pnteresting — she was tossed about quite a bit by the backup dancers — she slaughtered George Michael’s classic, Wake Me Up Before You Go Go. Immediately after the first 30 seconds into the song, you could tell that that she had lost control of her nasal sweet soprano vocals as she went off-key and at times, even off-beat.

It wasn’t just the wrong song choice. Apart from some ragged cheers, the crowd was silent. But all was not lost as Ella stole the show when she sang her own composition, Wo Jiu Shi Wo (I’m Just Me), to roaring cheers. Catchy, with strong honest lyrics that told how she only wanted to be true to herself, the song also had rappy parts that Ella belted out effortlessly.Towards the end of the song, it was clear that her performance had blasted away the earlier blunders.

Some 22 songs later, S.H.E.’s junior label-mate Yoga Lin made an appearance, to return the trio’s guesting in his Singapore concert recently, and lent his strong bass to Ai Wo De Zi Ge (The Right To Love Me). Then he took the stage to give the trio a much-needed breather.It was clear that he was also a crowd favourite as the audience sang along when he belted out one of his more popular singles, Kan Jian Shen Me Chang Shen Me (What You See Is What You Sing).

After Yoga departed, S.H.E. kept the crowd high with a special KTV session, which began with the trio seated on a red couch in the middle of the stage, complete with popcorn, fruits and drinks. And to the amusement of their fans, the music videos played on the giant screens all featured the trio — but togged in ’60s and ’70s outfits. They did covers of their friends and idols’ songs.

Ella took to the rostrum with Jian Dan Ai (Simple Love) by Gary Tao, Selina redeemed herself with a clear and crisp rendition of Chong Bai (Admire) by Fish Leong, and Hebe rendered a tribute to Faye Wong with the latter’s Gei Zi Ji De Qing Shu (A Love Letter To Myself), a vocally-challenging piece that she handled well. As the concert neared its end, fans gave Hebe, who would be celebrating her birthday on March 30, a heart-shaped jelly cake.

Saturday’s gig was the third stop in “S.H.E. Is The One” world tour, which kicked off with two sold-out performances in Hong Kong’s Coliseum last October. Laughter, incredible camaraderie and powerful harmonies are the staples of each S.H.E. concert and the three-hour performance that night successfully showcased yet again why the trio continues its strangle-hold as the best mando-pop girl group in Asia. Indeed, just last November, S.H.E. grabbed the titles for Best Group, Asia Media Recognition Group, Best Regional (Taiwan) Singer, as well as the All-Round Entertainer at the 15th Singapore Hit Awards. (A music award organised by the top Mandarin radio station in Singapore.) The trio ended the show with Lian Ren Wei Man (Not Yet Lovers), the song that shot S.H.E. to stardom from its first album, Girl’s Dormitory.

Upcoming historical drama "Faith"

Korean actor Lee Jun-ki will star in an upcoming historical drama tentatively titled "Faith" in English, according to his agency on Friday.

The actor will play the male lead in the drama, playing a young student of Eastern medicine who grows up be a legendary doctor during the Koryo Period.

The series will be helmed by famed Korean director Kim Jong-hak, who is known for his blockbuster scale dramas such as "Taewangsasingi" (MBC, 2007), which starred top actor Bae Yong-joon, and "Sandglass" (SBS, 1995), which scored the highest viewership ratings in local television history.

Kim is said to have thought highly of Lee's solid acting and his status as a Hallyu star throughout Asia for the role.

Lee, 27, became a household name after appearing as a woman-like clown in the 2005 hit film "The King and the Clown" and most recently appeared in MBC TV series "Hero", where he portrayed a passionate magazine reporter.

In December 2009, he was voted top Hallyu Star of the year in a survey conducted by a Korean business news publication Finance and Economy News.

"Faith" is scheduled to air in Korea in the second half of this year.

Xiah Junsu's debut single will be released

TVXQ member Xiah Junsu's twin brother Zuno will be making his official singing debut at a showcase in China later this month, according to his agency BIAS on Thursday.

BIAS announced in a press release that Zuno will be performing at the "ZUNO Showcase in Beijing", to be held at Beijing Chaoyang Gymnasium on March 28. Some 2,000 tickets for the event sold out a month ago within an hour of going on sale.

"We had been receiving numerous inquiries even before we made the announcement about the showcase," an official at BIAS explained. "Local fan clubs have already been established and there is a lot of interest in Zuno."

The 90-minute show will feature singing and dancing performances by the singer, and the music videos for his tracks "Nothing to Lose" and "I Love You" will be revealed for the first time as well.

"I feel nervous and excited, like my heart is about to burst because this is the first time that I will be performing in front of so many people," Zuno was quoted as saying. "I will do my best to live up to the enormous support."

Zuno, whose real name is Kim Junho, had been known for his talent and potential as an entertainer ahead of his debut -- in November 2008, he reportedly drew attention from industry executives when he appeared on MBC's celebrity dating show "Introducing the Friend of a Famous Star" with Junsu where he staged his good looks and talent.

His debut single will be released simultaneously in Korea and China on March 29.

Arashi's Satoshi Ohno premieres on April 17

Last month, it was announced that Arashi's Satoshi Ohno (29) will star in a live-action drama series based on the "Kaibutsu-kun" manga. On Wednesday, more of the cast members were revealed, along with their costumes.

The fantasy story follows young Kaibutsu-kun (Ohno), the prince of a land of monsters, who travels to the human world for training. Takeshi Kaga (59) plays the king of that world, while other monsters include Dracula (Norito Yashima), Wolf Man (Ryuhei Ueshima of Dachou Club), Frankenstein (Choi Hong Man), and Jijiya (Kazuaki Hankai).

Members of the demon world include the prince Demokin (Masahiro Matsuoka), Demorina (Izumi Inamori), and Akkuma (Kanji Tsuda). The human world includes Utako Ichikawa (Umika Kawashima), Hiroshi Ichikawa (Tatsuomi Hamada), and a policeman (Hiroki Miyake).

The series premieres on April 17.

Kim Hee-sun screen in a Chinese film, Warring States (戰國)

Actress Kim Hee-sun will be returning to the big screen in a Chinese film, titled Warring States (戰國) . Kim hasn’t been active in recent years, since her 2007 marriage and the birth of her first child; her last acting role was in 2006’s drama series Smile Again, and her last film back in 2005 with The Myth.

This movie takes place in China’s Warring States Period and boasts a production budget of 20 billion won. She will begin filming at the end of the month, according the production company (星光燦爛), and a press conference will be held on March 14.

Kim is also in discussions to make her television comeback as well, in the drama Faith [신의] by PD Kim Jong-hak (Legend). The drama plans to begin filming in June, so there should be no problem with Kim doing both projects.

Although Kim hasn’t acted in four years, she has done a few CFs and photo shoots since giving birth to her daughter. While she was probably known more for her looks than her acting skills, she enjoyed a bit of popularity before her extended hiatus, so she has fans waiting for her return to the screen.

Traditional drama "Dong-yi"

According to daily statistics released by research firms TNS Media Korea and AGB Nielsen Media Research, "Pasta" recorded national viewership ratings of 21.5 and 21.2 percent, respectively, for its final episode last night.

The culinary drama, which premiered in Korea on January 4, had started off with ratings around 13 percent and went on to breach the 20 percent mark when KBS2 TV series "Master of Study" ended its run last month.

The Monday and Tuesday evening drama wrapped up its story with a happy ending for its two main characters Choi Hyun-wook, played by Lee Sun-kyun, and Seo Yu-kyung, played by Kong Hyo-jin.

The show had received positive feedback from viewers with its well-balanced combination of a good script, directing and acting.

SBS' "Jejungwong" and KBS' "The Birth of the Rich", which aired in the same time slot, recorded ratings of 14.4 and 13.1 percent, respectively.

MBC will air traditional drama "Dong-yi", starring Ji Jin-he and Han Hyo-joo, starting March 22.

“FAKE feat. Namie Amuro” on March 31

The best combination in Japanese female R&B is back for the first time in seven years, with singers AI, 28, and Namie Amuro, 32, set to release their single “FAKE feat. Namie Amuro.”

The sexy pair performed together as part of SUITE CHIC in 2003 and ZEEBRA in 2006, but this is the first time for a song to be released under AI’ s name. 2010 also marks AI’s 10th anniversary on the music scene, and word is that she sounded Amuro out for her participation both publicly and privately.

“FAKE” is about a girl who has just been dumped by her man, and her talking about it with one of her girl friends. AI said: “This kind of thing would never happen to a girl like Namie, right? For that reason I thought it’d be interesting to have her on it.”

Amuro flashed a wry smile and said “I got more nervous than during my own recordings.”

He hired the maker of the "Batmobile" from the movie "Batman" to make him a replica, after the recording of the show, he generously invited the production team to film it at the Huashan arts centre.

The "Batmobile" no matter the size, the accessories, especially the front tyres and wings at the back is exactly the same as the one in the movie, the coolness made the staff amazed seeing it. But due to the fact the car is too long, he had to rent out space from Huashan arts centre to park it, he laughed saying, it needs 3 parking spaces. As for the price to make it, Jay Chou was unwilling to reveal it.

Single "Troublemaker"

The currently-unstoppable boy band Arashi proved their domination once again this week, with their latest single "Troublemaker." In its first week, the single sold 542,000 copies, setting a new sales record for this year. Last year, Arashi's "Ashita no Kioku / Crazy Moon" also broke the half-million mark in its first week.

#2 on the singles chart was SID's new song "sleep," with about 41,000 in sales. Berryz Koubou and Mai Kuraki were right behind them in the rankings. Meanwhile, reunited rock band Anzen Chitai took the #9 spot, marking their first top ten appearance since 1988.

Young R&B singer Shota Shimizu topped the album charts with his second album, "Journey," which sold 57,000 copies. Not far behind it was Remioromen's "Kachou Fuugetsu" at 53,000 copies.

Drama : Love Buffet ( Update )

Love Buffet, the idol drama adaption of the best-selling manga, had to suspend filming for half a year due to the 8/8 disaster. They will soon resume filming; however scheduling conflicts presented by the original lead actress, Joanne Zeng, caused Comic Productions to find a replacement. They finally decided on Black and White’s “hamburger girl” Reen Yu to take up the role.

Joanne Zeng and the male leads Calvin Chen and Arron Yan have already shot approximately 1/3 of of their scenes together. As a result, all their completed scenes are unusable. Comic Productions general manager Wang Xin Gui roughly estimated, “On top of that, the losses due to suspension of filming for half a year is almost NT$ 10 million.”

New movie "Can't buy me love"

When Sharon Chan was filming "Can't buy me love", she accidentally sprained her neck. She reckoned it was due to her wearing the heavy head gear. She had an X-ray and the doctor found some of her cervical bones have been shifted. Sharon was in so much pain that she couldn't move her head. She needed to have physiotherapy for a month.

Sharon was doing a show for a jeweler the other night. She looked a bit stiff, she said she had become a "Stiff neck 4". Although she was still in pain, nevertheless, she finished the show. After the event, she told reporter "The doctor told me I had an old injured on my neck before, and the head gear I was wearing was very heavy. That may have been the cause of my problem. The neck bones were out of place and were pressing on the nerve, causing me so much pain. I couldn't even lift my arms up. I have to wear the collar to protect my neck. Fortunately, the filming is nearly finished. The company have told me not to risk it. I will take some time off work to rest."

The 10th Tokyo Girls Collection at Yokohama Arena

Japan's biggest fashion show The 10th Tokyo Girls Collection was held on the 6th at Yokohama Arena. Hasegawa Jun (23), Yamada Yu (25), Marie (22), Sasaki Nozomi (22) and Karina (26) were among many of the models and guests that took part in the event.

Appearing in the upcoming movie My Darling is a Foreigner, actress Inoue Mao (23) was escorted on stage with actor Jonathan Sherr (35) wearing a white wedding dress adorned with a big ribbon. "I was a bit nervous, but I was happy to be wearing a similar wedding dress as the one in the movie." Hearing loud cheers from the crowd also brought a smile to her face. The movie will be released April 10.

Becky wore a white lacy outfit with a crown on her head. She gave her own explanation of the theme, saying it was 'The Prince's Day Off'. As well, Koda Kumi (27) and Kato Miliya (21) performed live at the show.
