Nokia N97 Gets Software Update 2.0

Nokia today announced that software 2.0 is now available for nokia N97.You may download it at software update website (http://www.nokia.com/softwareupdate),or you may update over the air if you have data plan.The new features of the 2.0 include "flip scrolling" ,shortcuts to personalized homescreen,3-D,ovi maps3.0,ovi contacts,Nokia Email,and ovi store.
According to Nokia,the Nokia N97 is selling like hot cakes "In september,2009,we exceeded 2 million Nokia N97 device sold,and now introduces the Nokia N97 mini,under scoring the success of the design.We have also listened to consumer feedback about the performance of the device.The nokia N97 software update 2.0 is a way for us to optimize the device and add new featurs and functions,"said jose-Luis Martinez,Vice president,Nokia Nseries."We are also excited about the early feedback that we have received on the Nokia N97 mini,which carries a verry similar features set o the original Nokia N97 and comes in a pocket-friendly size for those out and about".
