Um deles, talvez o mais interessante, seja a silhueta gravitacional. &amp;nbsp;Apesar da sua intensa gravidade, um grande número estrelas e gigantescas massas de poeira e gás, desde que tenham a velocidade adequada, orbitam ao seu redor. Imagine agora que um telescópio espacial fotografa estrelas que orbitam uma região escura, onde aparentemente não haveria nada.
