Brevard Schools Continue to See Success

The number of A-rated high schools in Brevard more than doubled last year, according to school grades released this morning from the Department of Education.

High school grades are based on the 2010-11 school year FCAT results, in addition to other measures such as the graduation rate, student participation in advanced classes and student performance on college entrance exams.

Elementary and middle school grades, which were released in June, are based solely on the FCAT
