Since, we recently moved to Los Angeles and then shortly after celebrated my birthday in vegas… in the craziness of it all, we completely forgot about it. Luckily, our friend Matt told us he saw us in the credits of the newest issue. So here it is!

At some point in my life, I would really love to live in Italy for a year or so. Take more photos of the beautiful country, eat more food, and finally get to practice my Italian I learned from Rosetta Stone. We stopped by Lake Como for a half hour on our way to Switzerland. I can see why celebrities would have second homes there. It really is beautiful. Wish we could have spent more time… but I guess there’s always next year… :)

Our 2012 Travels

We were very fortunate to be able to set foot on 5 continents this past year. It was a personal goal of mine to travel to all the continents as part of my 30 before 30 (minus Antarctica, which is reserved for when we retire). I may have mistaken New Zealand to be part of the continent of Australia, though, but I’m going to consider my goal met. I say it’s BS that they have their own continent called Zealandia! :P We did meet new friends on our New Zealand trip who were from Australia, so that’s a trip we’re hoping will happen very soon.

These are some of our highlights:

North America: We live in the U.S. and have done a cross-country roadtrip to California twice this past year. Antelope Canyon is probably our favorite place in the U.S. that we’ve visited so far. I’m sure as we do more roadtrips, we will find new favorites. ;)

South America: We did a 4-day hike along the Inca Trail to get to Machu Picchu, Peru

Europe: Cinque Terre, Italy

Asia: Singapore, Singapore (blog post coming soon)

Australia?: Glacier hiking up Fox Glaciers, New Zealand (blog post coming soon):
