As the whole world knows by now, Apple simply wasnt ready with the service when they launched it. Steve Jobs legendary temper came to the fore and this little birdy says that he was moving around the Apple HQ asking people if they worked on MobileMe. If the answer was yes, then the proverbial Flame thrower went into action.
