The Third Generation Toyota Prius isnt just eyewash, Toyota have surpassed even themselves by coming up with a Prius that takes on the magical figure of 50 miles per gallon. The reduction in fuel consumption isnt by any count due to savings in car size or power.

Of the little mentioned things at the CES was the hand dryer. Coming from Dyson, titled as the Airblade , its probably the first dryer that didnt leave me looking for a tissue or trying to switch it on after it cut off since my hands were exactly the same as before. This impressive little gizmo uses what they call an air blade .

Mitsubishi 3D LaserVue HDTV

While we were still reeling from what we read about OLEDs and LCDs , out came Mitsubishi with an even more bizarre option - Laser TVs. Instead of using standard LCD’s in its screen, the LaserVue makes use of , you guessed it, Lasers. The 3D ready TV has a color range that is twice as broad as typical models and also consumes more than 30 percent less energy.

Its where technology reaches its peak - the point of no return - the place where mankind begins to create gadgets for the mere point of it. What else would you call creating a gadget that translates the written word into sign language? Wouldnt it simply be easier to write down the information and ask the deaf person to read it? While I dont know many, the one person that I did meet was deaf and dumb and extremely adapt at reading lips , understanding gestures and could hold her own in a conversation with more than 3 people in it.
