You exercise your right to "freedom" and this is the result. All rhetoric to avoid conflict and protect each other from hurt. The untested truths spun by different interests continue to churn and accumulate in the sandbox of political correctness and value systems. Everyone withdraws into their own small gated community, afraid of a larger forum. They stay inside their little ponds, leaking whatever "truth" suits them into the growing cesspool of society at large. The different cardinal truths neither clash nor mesh. In fact, Lori Toye seems to have almost accepted that we are not in control of our own fate and there will be nothing that we can do in order to calm or soothe the potential disaster heading in our direction.

If the polar shift 2012 causes earth changes and destruction. If the prophesy 2012 or even the Nostradamus prophecies 2012 are accurate. If the Golden Cities turn into a beacon of hope or if they end up being a really expensive development community, we simply will not know for sure until we live through it.

Some people find astral projection to be the most exhilarating, amazing activity they’ve ever been a part of, while others have found it to be terrifying and even detrimental to their health. The results of individual astral projection experiences vary from one extreme to another simply because we do not all project the same or protect ourselves the same.

If one is referring to the involuntary OBEs, then it’s completely understandable why those might be considered frightening. Looking down upon your body in surgery or your mangled remains following a gruesome accident is most definitely not a positive experience. But what about the instances of astral projection where the traveler wills their way out of their body?

Astral projection is also a form of communication, and as with any sort of spiritual contact, there’s the risk of evil or mischievous spirits finding you and bothering you. Various sources on the subject offer conflicting viewpoints, so it is unclear at the moment whether or not a demon could follow someone’s astral being back to their mortal body and possess said person, or if these demons could inflict themselves upon the person’s home and haunt them.

Projection occurs on a slightly different plane than that of earthbound evil spirits, so if there is a risk of this happening, it is likely very small. Do keep in mind, also, that possession can only occur if the owner of the body allows it to happen. This will not stop evil spirits from approaching you while traveling, though; they can’t hurt you, but they’ll give you a good scare. It’s still good to be on guard anyway just in case, but not to the point where your fear hampers your endeavors; if it does, you may be too scared to relax enough to initiate projection.

It has been theorized by other astral travelers that when projection occurs during sleep, our spirit guides are aware of it and can be there to protect us. But when we attempt to project of our own accord, those guides might not know what’s going on and may not be there to offer their defense. Even if a sprite cannot follow you back to your body, the shock of seeing one while projecting could cause a shock to your senses that could harm you physically (like in the form of a heart attack).

Astral projection can be an amazing and enlightening experience, but caution must be taken; it’s not the process of projecting that you must fear, but the other spirits who may be out wandering and looking for a random person to harass. Saying a prayer of protection against evil and danger followed by calling upon your guides to watch over you is highly recommended to all spiritual travelers prior to entering the astral plane. It didn’t happen that way.

To make a long story short, I just finished a penmanship lesson with my daughter, who convinced me that her ‘cold’ was worthy of a day away from school. Needless to say, it doesn’t mean we sit around in front of a tv all day. After I get this little note off to you we’ll turn our attention to reading.

My practice session will have to wait.

Here’s the deal with trills. I believe that the ultimate speed at which you are able to trill, is determined by God.

But even more importantly, the Clarity, and ultimately the effectiveness of our trill, is up to you.

There are people of course who, when you say ‘trill’, give the impression someone just pressed a doorbell. It’s that fast and effortless.

Yet often the challenge for these people is getting control or creating variety to it – a blazingly fast trill can be out of character in some music – a Mozart Andante being one good example.

Most of us are faced with the opposite problem, namely how to develop the finger reflex we’ve been given to convey an impression of something more.

There are two things that enable you to do this – technique and smart planning.

On the technical side you have to resist the urge to press the vibrato into service in an attempt to amplify the finger’s natural reflex. The result of this will be a muddy, featureless blur. I can guarantee, no one will be fooled or impressed.

The best approach is always to stay with the finger – keeping it as light and clean as it can possibly be. The more relaxed you are, the better the result.

What you CAN do, after you’ve isolated the finger motion to a high degree, is experiment with the height you take it above the string. In doing so you must remember to keep your hand relaxed, otherwise it will revert back into a knot of frustration.

The other side of the trill coin involves planning.

If you focus on a given pre-determined of oscillations for the trill – assuming it’s duration is a beat or less, and allow yourself to visualize the entire event each time you arrive to it, you may find yourself ‘tricking’ your finger into doing more than you thought possible.

This requires patience, relaxation and focus – yet I am constantly surprised by the results I get from doing just this.

There are countless etudes and studies devoted to trills. Yet none are more enjoyable and satisfying than those found in Kreutzer. In volume 2 of ‘Kreutzer for Violin Mastery’ I take you through all sorts of possibilities – measured, unmeasured, prepared, with terminations and without terminations.

There are some players who believe in practicing trills using various rhythms. I haven’t mentioned this here because I don’t feel they really produce the results I’m after. Kreutzer does.

Though challenging indeed, these Kreutzer etudes can really clean and polish a trill beautifully.

All of us can be remote viewers, though most people haven’t put forward the effort needed to learn to use these natural psychic abilities. All of us have more than the five familiar physical senses, but using them requires practice.
