identifying with christ

i have come to the conclusion that as a christian we are called to identify with christ and his sufferings in a real and tangible way and when we experience opposition and hardships we are identifying with some sort of part of that. Jesus throughout being betrayed and killed fullfilled his ultimate calling and destiny. We will too throughout lifes trials and testings fullfill our ultimate callings. It's all in how we respond and move forward in what we believe to be right and true and not give up because things come our way. Take a breath and relax - you'll get through and become a better person for going through.

when going through a hard time

When you go through a hard time and you know that at least half of it is your faught but you want the situation to get better, thank god, praise him for what he has taken you through because it is through many trials that were are tested and approved to be his sons and daughters. It is hard to go through things and trust god that he will take care of the situation, vindicate you when you are at the brink of loosing everything God has given you. Ask for forgiveness, then thank him for loving you more than anything, and worship him for being a fair and just God who has your life in his hands, and Gods will will prevail. No matter what happens if we trust him then our lives will be ordered by his life. But if we screw up and loose everything don't blame God but thank him because you will need him more and need to know him more in the times ahead. Life is about walking with God through everything in life, and he will show himself to be real everyday i promise. just ask him.

Romans 5

Jesus will reveal himself to this generation

God is going to reveal himself in a way that will confound the wise, those who think that they know the power of God but really have no clue, to those who oppose the power of God but claim to love jesus, to those who criticize any change that may come to the church. The church is loosing the most important battle and that is getting people to know God who are far from God. That is our mandate, to have compassion for our friends and family who are going to live in a lifetime of hell. God is going to move in and through the most unchurched people to save his Fathers Children from eternal damnation. I mean isn't that our mandate as christians to loose the chains that bind and set the captives free so that they will believe in christ. It is believing in jesus that saves you, not your works- Like i said God is going to reveal himself to this generation and we will be surprised who really are the saved and unsaved in this time, because didn't jesus say to those who were doing the works of ministry that he never knew them, leave him because they were not his friends and they lost the only thing that god cares about and that is loving him. I will Go as far to say that God doesn't care about our works, our churches, our ministries, our whatever we think we do for him, if we put that first. Doing ministry doesn't qualify for inherited salvation, it only qualifies you for good works, which we all know won't get you to heaven. It disturbs me how church has become a place where no one wants to go because it is not REAL. Reality is that people don't want to find religion in a church that portrays jesus as "christianese". God is raising up a group of people who don't care about christian and church bullshit but are only in it for the truth and reality that God is real, they can feel him close, they know his presence and his voice, and they given full lordship over to him to guide their lives in His path, people who are fully committed to knowing God as was intended when God created man, face to face fellowship. We want to be so close to god that nothing else matters, to be so addicted to him, just as a junkie needs his next fix. And i think that God doesn't need another church that is the same as every other church in the world. I think he is looking for a church that will be radical in its approach to christianity, challenging the man made rituals and doctrines that have NOTHING to do with jesus and eternal salvation. Being religious repels the unsaved, and every christian has to watch out about being religious, from baptists to charismatics, they both push people away, BUT we need the power of God to reveal that jesus is real.

It seems to me that most people who don't believe in jesus havn't had a real tangible experience with God. And they're prayer is if jesus is real, or if allah or buddah is real, show yourself. It's not that they are against jesus, it's just that people need and want to know a god who is real and personal to them in their situation. So i pray that God shows himself in a real and tangible way to people who are searching. Jesus reveal yourself to be real.

I had a revelation the other day talking with someone who is in a battle for her children. We were talking about how not to give up hope and trust in the Lord. When we were talking i thought about God how his first children adam and eve were lost in the beginning of the earth when his intension was to live forever with them in fellowship. But they were taken from him and how ever since then God has been fighting for his sons and daughters and will fight for them till the end. God's will for Jesus was to come to save His children so that God's original intention for us is restored.

there is a place where you can open your heart to God and feel his spirit overshadow you. It is a breaking place. it is a place where no matter what happens in your life you still give honor to god for who He is, our creator and lover and best friend. If we always no matter what set our hearts to Him and open our spirits to His presence we will in my opinion no matter how far we fall away from the faith still be aware of His power to save us.

Almost everyday i have something in life that presents itself challenging- like extremely to the point i freak out. I have panic attacks, anxiety swells and won't go away, things don't always go my way, money is an issue, things break like my computer and cars and things i depend on, all sorts of stuff just goes wrong. I seem to not be able to get some relationships right and my personal skills aren't the best. Work seems to take a lot of my time. My wife is still here but has things she would like to see change (she loves me). I guess what i'm saying is no matter how much stuff always goes wrong there is a place in my heart that is humble, un worried, completely at ease in the midst of the storms but wanting to get out of my circumstances. When i get to this place where i can be still and listen to music i usually can feel God's love towards me and it changes me. I am going to to try to break some old habits and get into new ones like working out again. I think this would help.

To me religion is what is in your heart, your faith, what you believe in, what you love, and your eternal salvation. Not a bunch of man made religion rituals and ideals passed down from man to man. Yes I believe 100 percent in the church and that every church is the body of christ and without one part the other parts can not function. But there are a major significant group of people that will not believe in Jesus or even think about the possibility of Him as the only way to get to God because in these times we have a radical opposition to the truth. The times in fact call for a radical church to rise up to fulfill Christs mandate for salvation and to bring the truth that God is real to existance. People will not be seduced by a fake outward smile and meet and greet to become a part of a "perfect" group of people but people want to know that God loves them where they are and if he is in fact God that God will be with them every second they are in the world. People want to be themselves and completely real and worship God without the condemnation and guilt put on them by man. We have given a false knowledge of who God is to people who look like they need "a little help". The truth is is that EVERYBODY is going through hard times and that EVERYBODY is hurting and EVERYBODY has major problems. EVERYBODY has secrets and EVERYBODY wishes they didn't have to have pressure to perform or live up to mans expectations just to go to church.

This being said... church is more than meetings. It is more than a bunch of rituals and prayers that if you say them your sins will be forgiven and you just might be good enough get to heaven.

living life to the fullest - for those who have perfect lives continue what you are doing but to the other 99 percent of the human race, there are always obsticals that will come our way, some good and some bad and it is in how we react to them that makes us overcomers or not. Bad things are going to happen, and life is going to be shitty at times and for some more than others and the only answer i can give to those who go through the worst of the worst is to keep your head up and find rest in God and to find God because if you do not have a relationship with jesus then you don't know the power of living in His rest. The only way to get to heaven is through Jesus Christ. Plain and simple. I one hundered percent believe in Him and know for a fact that He is God's son and He came to bring redemption to mankind and that He loves me more than anything. He knows me by name and He cares for me and speaks to me and He has a calling in life for me. It has nothing to do with who i am because i am an unperfect person who is in constant sin and unbelief and can't seem to get my life straight if i had directions, he doesn't care. God created us for fellowship, in the beginning he created the first people on earth to walk with him literally and to have a choice to love him or not. Humans were created with a soul, mind and heart to be born and grow up to know who they were created to be, a son of God, to have a relationship with God in the same manner we have a relationship with other people. After man lost their conection with God face to face a man Enoch rose up and walked with God and then he was no more. He also prophesied which means walking with God will give you good stuff for other people, positive encouragement, comfort and edification to speak to people in the situations and really change them. Walking with God isn't a fantasy world to make you feel better or to get people to think you are crazy for being a religious fanatic. walking with God is life. Listen Jesus is totally misportrayed in this world by christians everywhere, we turn ourselves in the pharisees that actually crucified him to death because they were not subject to change and belief in something that they did not understand. Jesus took his place with everyday ordinary people and chose his best friends from people not associated with the church and people who the church cast out. Jesus was 100 percent happy and comfortable with his disciples because they were real people with real problems and they didn't put on their fake"church" front just for sunday. listen we all have problems and God is happy with us how we are. Jesus chose the disciples and told them to go with him and as they hung out with him they were changed, He didn't get them to go through a 50 step program to get saved, it is in the living and walking with him that life changes us as we behold his image and glory, that is in the bible and in the literal act of knowing him and loving him so much we can not do anything but worship him because the second we turn ourselves toward him we fell his presence. God is supernatural and his spirit is real. ask Him to reveal himself to you if you don't believe. If He isn't real then you have nothing to fear for he won't act but if He is real then you will know it when you ask. Most atheists have most likely had a supernatural experience with God and they are so turned off by the church and bitter from being hurt that they revert to saying He doesn't exist so they can have an excuss not to turn to God. But the truth is that the church is filled with people and people mess up the church but we have to get over this because we called to be the church of God. Purity and holiness is not an outward appearence or how good you were this week. GOD DOESN'T CARE ABOUT HOW GOOD YOU HAVE BEEN OR HOW MUCH SIN YOU DIDN'T DO THIS. YOU WILL NOT GET TO HEAVEN ANY FASTER THAN THE SINNER WHO CONFESSES MINS BEFORE HIS DEATH. ---- I am tired of the church telling people to get straight before they come to God - we are perfected when we ask for His forgiveness.

LIFE IS THIS..... GOD LOVES US NO MATTER WHAT. THAT IS IT. We are perfected by loving him back and reading his word and allowing jesus to work in us, we can do nothing in ourselves.

Alive in Christ

Last night i posted scriptures about Jesus being our good shepherd. How Jesus says in John 10:14 "I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— 15just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep."

2:22 am
i woke up from a dream last night where i was doing something with a bunch of people around and all of a sudden POD's (payable upon death) song "Alive" which says "I feel so alive" came on I i started dancing and worshiping like david did to the lord when He brought the ark to the city and his wife made fun of him.. everyone was standing around doing their thing and i just starting dancing to "I feel so alive". And then i woke up and looked at the clock and it was 2:22 am. Then i fell back to sleep. When i woke back up I felt the scripture for my dream was ephesians 2:22.

I turned to the scriptures and low and behold the Subtitle to Ephesians 2 is "Made Alive in Christ". Prophetic huh.... The Lord was speaking to me and I heard him, "Jesus knows His sheep and His sheep hear his voice.

Ephesians 2:22 says "And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit."

In the dream When i was worhiping i felt God, his presence strong. Worship is His dwelling.

.... The Lord is speaking to me personally for my marriage that He has it under control and that He is building our liver lives together into a dwelling place for Him. That is the ultimate Goal to become a dwelling place, where God feels at home in our lives and in our hearts.

... Remeber too that there is grace to step past everything that sets itself up against God and our walk with Him and others.

Made Alive in Christ

One in Christ

The Shepherd and His Flock

why is life so hard sometimes

Apparently i am not the only one who has troubles in their life. Although i feel alone sometimes I know that God is in control. Some people view my stance on where i am at as appathetic, as i do not care about what is going on or that I am not taking action seriously. i beg to differ. I am taking action. I am not running into something in haste, i have asked jesus to do his will, therefore i can only believe that he will take care of my situation. Am i sopposed to worry or be afraid that something bad might happen- absolutely not. When bad things happen i keep my focus on Jesus, even if i am wrong and out of place and have issues and problems within myself. I know that God loves me and has everything under control no matter what happens in my life. At least if I am broken I know God will be close. Draw close to Him and He will draw close to you.

Jesus is going to return to this earth one day for His church. As a christian we are a part of the church. Church is not a religious organization you attend but a brotherhood of believers in jesus who believe that He is the only way to get to God. Denominations are different parts of His body and we all must joined together to function as one. If you get offended by religious practices in one place or disagree with others find one where you fit. We as christians can not function without the church but we also must not forsake her. If you can not find a group of believers that share your ideals, start a church. Do something. I don't like religious people either, on every extreme, but i love being around believers because they build me up and they share one common factor- worship the King. We will be surprised at the next generation church that is arising, a church that does not use outer appearences as a measurement of holiness but a church who loves God more than air and will do anything for their King because they love him. A church that defies what religion has portrayed as christian and We will know them are from Him by their fruit. Jesus will perform miracles through the most unlikely people. He will fill unbelievers with His spirit and they will be saved because they felt something they had never felt before. Signs and wonders will follow them and God will te4stify on their behalf and it will blow everyones minds. Get into church, it will become the most treasured gatherings around, infact God will inhabit the praise of his people with his glory, and he will dwell among them once again, and the cloud by day and fire by night will guide them and His glory cloud will live among them in power, and the holy fear and love of God will seep out of believers like water. Believers will do greater things than Christ did on earth and a time is coming when a clear distinction between christians and non christians is coming and Christ will rise on His people.

embracing change - barack obama

Back in january i had a dream that the lord told me to pray for barack obama and leading up to this day i have have had soo much response and commentary on that post. I was telling a friend of mine last week that i thought that The lord might be telling me who was becoming president and to pray for him and i was right even though i vote republican. This encourages me in that the lord is showing me things that are happening.

Now about the next 4 years. I believe that we are going to see some historical things happen in this election that will upset many americans on moral issues. In fact i woke up this morning thinking, "whats next legalizing marijuana?" so i think think that liberals will definately have their way and we will see the real change that they create for our country. The evidence is in the fruit.

I am thankful for george bush and that he did what he felt he had to do, i hope that barack can reign in the economy and i think that he will. But Real change will happen when we stop spending money and the american people want our economy to change but they dont want to give up spending so i don't see much change there.

the truth is that God is not worried and or afraid infact he is giving the people what they want. We as christians must be encouraged that in tough times God reveals himself. We can draw closer to him in these times and he will speak to us, lead us and guide us. His favor will come upon us. I think that we are beginning the age where there is going to be a clear distinction between christians and non christians.

This week i called my dad and and told him how everything in my life has been breaking or getting stolen but in the midst of that i have felt the Lords favor in ways i havn't in a long time. He loves to come tous in our weakness,but we need to learn to react in a rightful manner, knowing that God will repay you and take care of you no matter what happens and that sometimes things happen so that he can do more in us.

Jesus sent out his disciples with credentials to fulfill a certain mission and gave them authority over unclean spirits to be ejecting them and to be healing every disease and every sickness. He charged them to go to the sheep who have been neglected and have lost their way and are wandering about without guidance.

having a heart to change

It is obvious that in our times the world wants to see change, especially with the elections. Lets not over look the real issues behind change and what it will really take to create it. Just because something looks great on the outside doesn't mean that it will create the change needed to sustain a nation. We have to look at the inner issues and direction each canidate is going to take us and vote according to what we feel will be the right direction.

On the other hand change is coming. Whether we want change it is a natural process of life that not only forces us to seek God more but it sustains our life in Him. We are going to see major things happen in the United States in the next several years and we must prepare for change.

I don't know about anyone else but the Lord is definately getting my attention at this time. He is taking the things that i have fallen comfortable in taken them away to show me that he is trying to speak to me. What he has allowed in the past he is no longer allowing now and we should look at our hardships as from Him directing us in His ways. When you get out of disciplined times of prayer and worship it is very difficult to re-gain that discipline. But we must push through and get back into Him. It is the fresh daily bread from heaven that sustains us through trying times. The Lord has something new to speak to us everyday and i pray that he helps us to gain a strong foundation in Him through times that we do not have a fresh relationship.

My dad called me and gave me this verse:

3Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade—kept in heaven for you, 5who through faith are shielded by God's power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. 6In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 7These have come so that your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. 8Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 9for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
