The importance of Sunday is fundamental today in the broad society, not only in the church. After many centuries of Sunday procedures in the Christian context, Sunday rest, Sunday mass, Sunday sermon, and for some also Sunday school, is establishing itself as everlasting truth. It cannot be other than right. In this constellation, therefore, the question of the Sabbath can only fail for Sunday (the wrong Sabbath).

Evidence inadmissible

The question of the Sabbath is therefore not a question of proof, even if evidence is helpful. It is also not a question of meaningfulness in the first place. This approach, however, has been generating discontent and false ambition among Christians for many years. A battle of self-opinionatedness. Completely useless. The question of the Sabbath is purely a question of discipleship. Whom do I follow? So in order to correctly answer the question, “Do Christians need to keep the Sabbath?”, the question must be asked as follows. “What does the Bible tell us? Do Christians who follow Jesus observe the Sabbath according to the example of Jesus?” This question has to be answered very clearly. – YES. One day Jesus is asked:

“Which is the first commandment of all?” Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. Mark 12:28-31

The claim may sound strange. Read carefully: “Christians who do not follow Jesus do not have to keep the Sabbath.” The Sabbath only makes sense in the following of Jesus. Here the Sabbath becomes indispensable, because it is a sign of the faithful followers. Compare Rev 12,17 and 14,12

What should I do?

A study of the word on the Sabbath can help. Read all available Sabbath verses and bring your questions in prayer to God the Creator. Do not ask experts. Most theologically trained experts will hold the traditional view of Sunday (false Sabbath) or belittle its relevance for our time. It is time for advice from the Holy Scriptures, the first source for decisions on true following.

Moreover I also gave them My Sabbaths, to be a sign between them and Me, that they might know that I am the Lord who sanctifies them. Ezekiel 20:12

Babylon’s wine is a strong drink. It has drunk all peoples. It is also called wine of fornication. It is a drink offered by the harlot to make the inhabitants of the earth drunk.

Why wine?

The comparison with wine is probably a deliberate choice. So it makes sense to consider the effects of wine. It looks good, smells good, tastes good, makes you happy. But it is also used as an anesthetic for stress and anxiety. Larger amounts lead to intoxication and thoughtless, wild and unwise behavior. Wine can also be misused as a means to motivate oneself, so that the intoxicated and weakened consciousness can only defend oneself slightly or not at all.

Wine of fornication?

The characteristics of the wine just mentioned, can rightly be attributed to the wine of fornication. Anyone who drinks from this wine weakens himself to the point of severe drunkenness. The content of the cup is analyzed in Rev. 17:4. The wine that is spoken of is abominations and uncleanness of fornication. It is a totally unclean wine. The great harlot uses this wine to make an alliance with the kings (rulers) of the earth. She behaves pompously, arrogantly and even intoxicated by the blood of the saints and witnesses of Jesus.

False teachings!

We know from Jesus that external things cannot defile a person, which is why he did not ask the disciples to wash their hands. However, all evil thoughts that come from the heart defile the man. So abominations and uncleanness of wine are evil thoughts that come from the harlot or from Babylon. They are to defile the inhabitants of the earth and to stun them as much as possible. Since we have already identified Babylon, let us take a closer look at the wine that Babylon has been pouring out for years. Consequently, you will see an overview that you should work through yourself. Supplements will be added little by little.

Risk Management as solution?

Risk management as a management task has now become established in management. It is necessary as a consequence of the increasingly complex structures of our daily life and also in production, quality, logistics, trade, traffic etc. in a comprehensive planning. Using the example of the fire department, the principle of risk management can be simply illustrated. In the past, a bucket of water was sufficient, later vehicles were provided with water. Today it already starts with the selection of non-flammable materials. The aim is to ensure that the question ‘What should I do’ can be answered very quickly.

All risks considered?

Were or are you in a situation with many question marks? Have you ever asked yourself, ‘What should I do’? There are different reasons for such a question: Illness, job loss, accident, death of loved ones, separation, etc. Already considered? We see no need to change anything when things are going well. In addition, the usual risks are covered by the best possible insurance, yet sometimes you still asks yourself ‘What should I do’? Every crisis, every ‘what should I do’ points to what is not explicitly covered surely enough.

History

A large crowd in Jerusalem, according to a speech by Peter, was also aware of such a situation. At that time something historical happened. A very well-known person was sentenced to death days before and is said to have risen from the dead three days later. After all this happened, many Jewish believers from all kinds of countries celebrated the feast of Pentecost in Jerusalem. Peter explained, empowered and commissioned by the Spirit of God, the fulfillment of the prophetic writings about the necessary work of redemption of Jesus. This led many listeners into a crisis of meaning. “And they spoke to Peter and the other apostles: What shall we do …?” (Acts 2:37). It is one of the best known texts of the Bible in which this question can be found.

Jesus is coming again

Jesus comes, yes, ‘every year again’! Even for people who do not believe in the Bible, it is not necessarily new that there are people who visibly expect Jesus’ return. Only to really expect it is almost unrealistic. There will be no evidence for this event. It will remain unique in the history of the universe. Only with the question ‘What should I do?’ you can make the right preparation for this event today. This question will lead you into the book of Revelation of John.

What should I do?

Fortunately there is a clear answer to this question. The holy scriptures pass on many situations that are just as true today. It shows a typical characteristic of the human being who wants to live without the change through God. This is also in order, because the good does not force the good. But it also shows the possibilities for this change of a life without grievances. It is the only way out of the evils of our time. It is a life according to the law of God, which is the only way to live a life together without (self-)destruction. Jesus calls every person to repentance and has also accomplished the necessary redemption and accompanies you on the way to live according to God’s will. Better ask yourself today than tomorrow the question ‘What should I do?

Read your Bible daily, write down your thoughts. Make a daily decision for Jesus our Redeemer. Up to now God has allowed the wickedness of man to become fully visible. So that some people can still be torn out of their faint and brought to the conversion from the evil way. But soon he will accomplish his work of redemption through Jesus’ return. Is science “belief” or law?

We associate science least of all with faith. But there are differences. There are laws that are unchangeable but can be researched and learned. These are for example the laws of nature known to us as part of science. (Natural) laws form a recurring fixed function. Through observation, a recurring result can be determined. No generalization is necessary. For theories and hypotheses, however, there are no fixed laws. It is understood as an equal component of science, which is examined with empirical science from connections and correlations. These are then assigned probabilities. The investigated facts are considered under the influence of single or several factors. An investigation can be reproduced, but the result is different; so that one inevitably gives or denies faith to an investigation. The foundation of empirical science is “faith” in correctly made assumptions, relevant correlations and experience. Unless there is a 100% law for a process under investigation so that you can investigate it, a fact is based on your ‘faith’.

Faith as a driving force

In contrast to the laws of nature, a simple “belief” is sufficient for theories, e.g. evolutionary theory. But then what makes this science so successful?

The basis of our actions is always trust. This is not really new. Trust establishes the invisible “spiritual” connection to other people or beings. However, this connection does not necessarily have to be based on positive experiences, but only on experiences. If I now receive information from a “trust” source, I am faced with the decision to believe or to reject it.

Every human being therefore checks incoming information for its truth content in fractions of seconds. At the end of the decision process an action is pending. Since we cannot or do not want to understand everything, “trustworthy” sources with a large amount of experience are now preferred when making a decision. Many experiences lead to a subconscious, convincing certainty. Example bus timetable: If you think you will get to the bus in time, you will start walking. If you do not believe it, you wait for the next one. Example Corona: If you believe that a face mask of one type protects you from infections, then you certainly will wear this mask. Even if science later revokes it. When science classifies surfaces as a danger of infection, people start to disinfect the surfaces. Some still do it afterwards, after the all-clear has been given. The belief in the “right thing” explains the confusion and contradiction in medical science. Obedience is based on “faith” in medical science.

What should I do?

Thoughts are always the result of thinking about incoming information. From the film scene there is the interesting statement that a thought is more resistant than viruses, bacteria and germs. Now check your actions with incoming information. Who do you trust? On whose word do you listen? Maybe you now understand why news, presence of well-known people, advertising and brands have a lasting effect on your life and your decisions. You trust without wanting to, or ever having decided to, really want to. Corona has only to do with “faith” in science. A belief that relies on statistical calculations, age correlation and suspected risks of infection and relies on calculated risks and fears. Ask yourself why you do what you do!

First of all, let us say You will not experience a “new gospel” here! Therefore, a good introduction to the topic is an overview of the Bible texts that actually contain the word gospel. Very quickly it becomes clear in which context the gospel is connected. Kingdom of God, grace, healing, life, testimony (reporting), proclamation, fulfillment, resurrection, salvation, faith, conversion, baptism, Son of God. But in order.

What happened?

The many years after Eden leave a questionable picture on humans. Unrest, hunger, poverty, strife, abuse, death. In the search for solutions we are now technically advanced. Do we also have a solution for the problem against death? Death is not a problem of matter. Death is a problem of a man who kills his own body. After sin entered Adam and Eve’s world, God revealed to them a plan of salvation. In today’s language the gospel.

Where does the gospel suddenly come from? In a speech Paul now explains this connection as follows: “And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers, God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again” (Acts 13:32). Paul also writes to the Galatians: “And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.” (Gal. 3:8) The saving message of the gospel is not a sudden appearance. It was given by God in early years, to people as a promise, after Adam and Eve had rejected trust in God.

Why the necessity and urgency to announce them? Waiting for salvation is a real part of living with God in this world. The waiting for longing for peace, security, truth, peace, love, security, harmony, etc. sometimes makes us despair. This waiting had now come to an end. “The time is fulfilled, …” (Mk. 1.15). Knowing the short time, our Savior used this time for what He was commissioned by His Father to do (John 4:34; 5:30; 6:38; 8:28,29).

Are there not already passable solutions to man’s sinful problem? Man’s attempts to limit the consequences of sin, which become visible through self-destruction, illness and death, are impossible. Some would say limited. Medical solutions are limited to solutions of the biochemical household, other solutions include spiritual aspects. The perfect salvation from the dependence of sin, which becomes visible in the form of selfishness, is offered only by this gospel of the Son of God. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” (Rom. 1:16). There is only this way to become completely free in every way and to receive eternal life (John 6:53).

What distinguishes the writings of the Old and New Testament? The writings of the Old Testament contain the promises of salvation, while those of the New Testament tell us about its fulfillment. “[namely the Gospel] of his Son, who came forth from the seed of David according to the flesh” (Rom. 1:3). To his faithful companion Paul writes the following explanation. “Who hath saved us [Jesus], and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ” (2 Tim. 1:9,10). Paul makes it clear that the promise in Jesus Christ has been realized.

Why the addition “eternal”/”everlasting”?

The gospel is still current and valid, and also necessary. Because man has not been able to stop the consequences of sin, nor will he. Therefore there is still a time of possible conversion for everyone who believes. The message today is also an urgent message: “Get out of Babylon. (Offg. 18,1ff) Parts of the gospel are still waiting for the final fulfillment. It will be the final redemption from the corruptible body, which can no longer be restored, no matter what form of medication is used. (1. Cor. 15,54)

Without going into the different statements about ‘everlasting’ this verse is mentioned. “Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began [some from eternal times], but now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith.” (Rom. 16, 25.26) God’s promises are certain. This promise will also soon be fulfilled. Something that was closed in its entirety will finally be revealed with the return of Jesus.

The addition ‘eternal’ or ‘everlasting’ therefore always indicates a prophetic fulfillment, usually together with a message of judgment, as in the time of Noah or of Sodom and Gomorrah (Jud. 7).

Man’s real problem is not Babylon, but the lack of knowledge about his own deceitful heart (Jer. 17:9), meaning self-knowledge, with the consequence of a wrong or contradictory assessment of his own spiritual situation. An example: Enjoyment is accepted as something positive, although many favoured products harm one’s own life. A contradiction.
The heart is our spirit where our senses and thoughts come from (1. Chr. 29,18). There is a solution to this problem, it is called the Gospel – in Revelation of John the “everlasting gospel” (Rev 14,6).

Because of the first problem it is now easy to make this contradiction to business. Babylon (also Babel, first mentioned in Genesis), is from the beginning such a hostile union against humanity and against the living God, the creator of life. This will take place until the end, but in an unprecedented way, as the final event (Rev. 13).

Who is behind Babylon?

Many have already thought about who Babylon might be. In such a global complex, it seems that the exact connections are not clear. For an exact determination Jesus gives us the image of Babylon in the book of Revelation. The choice of this city should lead us to the characteristics of ancient Babylon, which are documented in the book of Daniel. In Isaiah 14:13, we learn about the being behind the system of Babylon, who wants to rise above the “Most High”. It is the adversary of God described as a dragon (Rev. 12:7). In contrast to man, he has knowledge about the nature and existence of the Creator. For his purpose he uses the people who have become servants to him (Gen. 3,1).

The only way to sell a lie to man is to dress it in truth.

The Babylon plan can only succeed in a hidden way, with a deception (Revelation 12,9). Whoever operates with deception is himself deceived. And deceptions are always possible if the deceived person has a lack of knowledge. These deceptions are set up by the Father of Lies in order to direct man’s trust and worship to himself. The allies of Babylon have a strong network (Daughters, Revelation 17,5) between church and state and also a high level of trustworthiness among the population, so that the majority takes everything for granted or questions little. Without fundamental knowledge about God himself and about his unchanging law of nature, it is impossible to see through this deception.

Where to start?

In many years of activity, the hostile union has established an alternative form of worship. This is primitive, one might say. Or, the worship of celestial bodies is outdated. It is well established that cultures that worship gods have the sun as the center of worship. Also Egypt and Babylon. Also the Israelites acted against God’s instruction (5. Mo. 4,19;17,3; 2. Kings. 23,5; Ezek. 8,16) and worshipped the sun. It should therefore come as no surprise that the Babylon of today, amidst many teachings and theories, also places the worship of the sun at its centre (as its foundation).

Resistance against the truth

The question of human salvation is the central theme of the Bible. The writers of the Bible are united by their faith in the true almighty God and his promise of a new future world. In contrast, Babylon is the instrument of the greatest adversary in the fight against truth. It is the deviese to prevent the redemption of every single human being at all costs. This is to prevent the restoration of man according to the righteousness of God. This is only possible with lies. To expose these lies, God gives us essential insights into Babylon to understand the machinations, strategies and plans of the dragon.

Identified!

Let us look for clues. The cult of the sun (sun worship) was the hallmark of Babylon and must be today. We examine some references in the Holy Scriptures. In the book of Daniel we read that there will be blasphemy against the Most High, rub up the saints of the Most High, seek to change the time and law, the saints will be given into his power for three and a half times (Dan. 7.25; 8.24- 25). Revelation 13 describes the events with more details. This hostile union will succeed a lot, but in the end a warning will reach all nations and people to leave Babylon. After examination of the characteristics there is only one power worldwide to which this description of the first beast applies. To a religious and political institution near Rome. A second beast will ascend and lead everyone to worship the first beast (Rev. 13:11-17). Today’s events confirm the earlier assumptions that this beast is a great country on the other side of the Atlantic. This power, has established all the institutions (e.g. UN, WHO, NATO, unicef, etc.) with which the interests of the first beast are implemented.

Link between both powers

1st Beast: “The mystery of the Most Holy Trinity is the central mystery of Christian faith and life. It is the mystery of God in himself. It is therefore the source of all the other mysteries of faith, the light that enlightens them. It is the most fundamental and essential teaching in the “hierarchy of the truths of faith”. (vatican.va)

This cult of the rising sun, midday sun and setting sun properly focuses on sun worship. As in ancient cultures, the sign of the Trinity has been preserved. In the catechism it is stated that the doctrine of the Trinity is the basis (the centre) of all other religious teachings.

2nd Beast: The eye of Providence is a frequently used representation of the powerful institutions. It is also used on church buildings of the 1st beast. It depicts an eye enclosed by a triangle, which is surrounded by a halo of rays (sun). The triangle refers to the Trinity (sun cult).

Without looking in any encyclopaedia. What is the world view behind the universe of science? It is a rotating earth around the sun. The sun as the centre of an ideology.

Both powers have an identical ideology at its centre. Sun in the centre. That is no surprise. The dragon made his game and betrayed humanity.

What should I do?

There is a clear message for our time. Be sure to read the texts in Revelation 14:7-10 and 18:1-5.

With the first message the angel gives the following instruction. “Fear God and give glory to him, for the hour of his judgment has come; and worship him who made the heavens and the earth and the sea and the springs of water! A direct reference to a Creator who created the earth. To worship him is to live according to his law. The outward sign of true worshippers is the Sabbath. Why is this necessary? The Babylonian system is permeated by an ideology in which the sun cult Trinity is central, including the lie about the created globe. The whole world follows this ideology. The sign of worship is Sunday.

With the second message, “Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.” The angel announces that this ideology of Babylon will be manifest to all men, because all men have been seduced by ember.

The third message warns people:

“If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”

Revelation 14,9-12

Three questions should be answered to answer the call. Who is the first beast? The answer can be found above. What is the image of the beast? It is the 2nd beast. What is the mark of the beast? It is the weekly Sunday, as a sign of the authority of the 1st beast as proof of sun worship.

Follow the call

“Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” (Rev 18:4)
Out of Babylon, but where to? Jesus’ eternal gospel offers the contact point for all refugees from Babylon. To go out means to break away from all constraints and dependencies on Babylon in matters of worship and obedience. According to Revelation 13:17, there will be no option, so not following it will have consequences. Therefore, their identification is of enormous importance. The twofold announcement that Babylon has fallen makes this task easier but also urgent.
