O Arcapi III é um portátil diferente do usual. Ele foi criado por Edu Arana com formato de um dos inimigos do jogo Space Invaders. Foi projetado para jogar diretamente na placa sem qualquer case em volta (lembrando que essa parte não é novidade, há inclusive expansões comerciais assim). Parte do projeto é baseado no esquema v0.1 do projeto GameGirl.

O avanço na alimentação de entrada e USB após o modelo B+ foi um divisor de águas para o Raspberry Pi.

Os antigos modelos B tinham reguladores lineares e até proteções simples na USB (na primeira revisão, os polyfuses da USB foram removidos posteriormente). Os reguladores gastavam muita energia em forma de calor, isso se refletia até no maior consumo de energia dos modelos anteriores.

Desde o primeiro Raspberry Pi vemos a utilização de acessórios para minimizar o aquecimento da placa.

Como já disse anteriormente, geralmente não havia a necessidade 
de dissipadores/coolers, a não ser que fossem fazer um overclock expressivo, colocar a placa em condições de alta temperatura externa ou 
algum outro motivo como aumentar sua vida útil.

Em geral a construção do Raspberry Pi é sinônimo de qualidade, mesmo sendo um produto de baixo custo. Isso vai desde PCB à pinos (ambos ENIG), conectores e soldas (o processo é bem feito mas a solda é leadfree) mas claro que há algumas exceções.

O tão sonhado (para alguns) Netflix... Desde o início do blog em 2013 vejo essa questão em aberto, aquela ponta que faltava nos media centers.

Um dos problemas quando se aumenta a velocidade dos ADCs é o aumento proporcional de banda.

Só como exemplo, a banda necessária para o ADC do meu osciloscópio, um AD9288 com 40Msps por canal e 8 bits é de 384Mbps por canal (ou 40MB/s).&amp;nbsp; A velocidade do USB 2.0 é de 480 Mbps.
