Alien Soundworks Corp. established in Tokyo (Japan) is a new company that has a double profile. First, by importing electric guitars, guitar parts and accessories from abroad to Japan, Alien Soundworks achieved several partnerships with famous brands from Europe and America. Secondly, by being a manufacturer, Alien Soundworks created their own brands “Alien Soundworks” and “E.A.R” to provide the Japanese guitar market with various innovative products for the guitarist’s needs.

Founder Nicolas Oury has great knowledge of the world guitar market and is a musician as well. His knowledge in electronics and his experience in the Japanese business world drove him to establish his own company in November 2013. Today, Alien Soundworks, located between the famous Akihabara and Ochanomizu station in the center of Tokyo, has developed a very diverse line up of products ranging from cables, effect pedals and guitar parts up to handcrafted Japanese high-end guitars.

While having a global field of work, Alien Soundworks stays very close to the guitarists. This is the new vision of this emerging company that has only one goal: to satisfy the musician and help them to focus on their inspiration.

This year we were happy to celebrate some new partnerships, too.  ESP Guitars was there with their two new EverTune models, and Mayones Guitars debuted the mind-blowing Regius 6 4EVER and Regius 7 4EVER. We were especially excited to see the BMW Regius 6 4EVER custom that Mayones had just made for Misha Mansoor of Periphery.

There were some amazing performances, as well, including the first Feared performance in four years–and guitarist Ola Englund’s first-ever EverTuned Feared gig. Thanks to everyone for a great show!

Largest European Music Retailers Stock EverTune

European music retail giants Andertons and Thomann have begun to offer EverTune bridges.  UK-based Andertons is currently doing a pre-order on F, T, G and seven string F model bridges and will install them in-house.  

Thomann already has the Evertune G model for replacing Tune-o-matic style bridges in stock and is also offering VGS Guitars with EverTune factory installed.  

Needless to say, we are very excited about this development and are looking forward to working wit both retailers.

Congrats, Scott! 

Congratulations to EverTune artist, Scott Ian , and his legendary band, Anthrax, on their fourth Grammy nomination.  The single “I’m Alive” off “Worship Music”, the band’s first outing in eight years, was nominated for Best Rock/Metal Performance.  The album has garnered many other honors including topping several Best Metal Albums of the Year lists.
