For me, the back pain was due to the workouts, so I spent a little more time stretching, I also was careful to know what my limits were. It’s going to be key for you to know that too.

While reading articles online on back pain, I found this article that shares 10 Ways to Beat Back Pain.

I just wrapped up a cardio workout. I ran my best mile at 12 minutes. I know it’s nothing fancy, but I’ve brought that down from 16+ minutes. I did about 2.5 miles in all, once I got the Nike+ to track correctly. I’m considering using another running app if this continues to give me an issue.

I also ran some intervals, changing my pace from sprints to jogs in set intervals. We used to do that when I played baseball as a training mechanism for running bases.

I’m winded, I’m happy, and I’m ready to start my evening with the family.

I still got lots to say, maybe in a blog post tonight.

…yes I’m still here.

It’s been awhile since we’ve connected, but no worries I’m here. I took a few days off last week from working out to heal up a bit on some back soreness I had. I found some great back exercises that I’ll be sharing on here along with photos of food that I’ve been eating, some yummy healthy stuff.

I’ve got a lot of news to share with everyone, and hopefully we’ll be able to connect sometime soon if you’re anywhere near Central Texas.

I’ve got 5k’s, 10k’s and a half marathon planned this year, but I’ll share the details in separate posts.

Where are you at right now? How far have you come? How much have you lost? Have you fallen off the wagon? A healthy lifestyle should be so much more than the numbers, it should be entirely on how you feel.

We’ll connect later this week as I put together some great content and we’ll knock it out of the park together. Stay safe, stay healthy, and most importantly, stay strong!

Limited by time and location I made the best of what I had. I’m not a fan of walking around where I live. Too much traffic and not really conducive to runs, unless I’m doing hill intervals. With the sun setting and the trails alive with Rattlers at dusk, I figured it was better to stay in the neighborhood.

I opted for a fast paced walk with the dog, I love his companionship on my runs and walks. The sweat check photo from earlier was a result of my outing. I was going for distance instead of time. So after 3.5 miles, I called it quits, and it felt great.

So far I’m feeling great and while walking I could tell that I was losing weight since my shirt was not pushing my shirt out as much as it used to three weeks ago. There’s progress, I’m not focusing on the numbers, but I can see the difference both physically and in how I feel.

I’m looking forward to Sunday!

I did a morning workout cross train workout that worked out my entire body in about half an hour with no rest. Intese, tiring, but damn it felt good.
