One of my activities last week. I had a very eventful weekend I tell you.
Cerita basi, I know, but I promised myself to upload the pics so here goes.

First, Srikandi 9600's 10th Year Reunion on Saturday, 16th October 2010.
We had the charity event in the morning at Rumah Nur Salam. Just a face painting session & story telling session with the kids. It was fun to see the kids enjoyed their time as much as we did. (I really wish they did!)
Although there were only 12 of us, it was still worth it.

Another GMarket spree

This was supposed to arrive last Friday. But Pos Malaysia screwed up and so it ended arriving on Monday. But since I already told my bro not to open the parcel, we only just opened it when I got home yesterday night.

This time I order 8 items. One shoulder bag for my brother, 3 different types of desktop organizer for my sis and 4 pairs of shoes for me.

Overall, we're very happy! And I absolutely love my new shoes, yay~

Bukan. Kepalaku pusing.
There are 3 things on my mind right now:

Pasal JYJ Showcase - Definitely going, but who to go with? Confirm ke my sister wants to go? When am I going to buy the tickets? For which zone?
Pasal SK9600 10 year reunion - Kena jaga duit? Boleh ke aku jaga duit? Takut pun ada gak. Bukan sikit2 punya duit.. hmm
Pasal iPhone 4 - Bila nak beli? Which provider, maxis ke digi? 16 ke 32GB? Kontrak ke tak? Kalau kontrak, for how many months?

Kesimpulannya, semua nak pakai duit. Mana aku nak korek weyh???

p.s: JYJ Showcase VIP tickets adalah berharga RM800. Mak aih, siapa la yang kaya sangat nak beli tu? Tapi dapat join autograph session, photo session, handshake dan sewaktu dengannya. Mungkin kalau aku masih berumur 17, dan kaya, aku pun dah beli tiket tu kot. Hm, apa2 jelah labu. Asalkan dapat tengok. Banyak lagi benda aku nak fikir.

p.s II: Sedang aku edit & upload gambar karipap tu, Dira jengah kat laptopku sambil bertanya, "Gambar apa tuh? Karipap ke? Sedap siots..". Pesanan untuk Dira, kalau tengah puasa, apa je tak sedap? Dah pegi dok diam2.

The White Stripes... or pipes... whatever

Tried a new cookie recipe today. The name on the recipe book is just plain ughh; Si Hitam Manis. So I decided to change it to..... The White Stripes!! Just kidding. That's not exactly stripes, I know. Okay no idea for new name yet, but here's the pics.

Consists of butter, sugar, flour, cocoa powder, corn flour, a little bit of baking powder, oreo crumbs for sprinkles & white chocolate piping. Looks nice,eh? And I looooove piping those white chocolate on. So much fuuuun!!!
Taste like any other cookies with cocoa powder, but the oreo taste gives it a little more. I kinda like it.
We're gonna try another new recipe tomorrow.Will let you know how it goes. Tata~

Yaaayyyyyyy~ I went to Beast Showcase in KL Live yesterday!!!!!!!

I already said I'm not going, but who could say no to free tickets, right? I practically had to beg my sister to come with me. hehehe..

Anyways we, too, almost gave up yesterday, after waiting for 2 hours standing in the hot weather. It was supposed to start at 7pm but by 7.30 they only let a few girls in. And to be fair, they only let those with beast shirt on first. So that left us with free passes, standing around waaayy behind the crowd. Ratio was 7:3, 70 percent were those with shirts. The security was yelling don't push, but knowing malaysians and add agitated fan girls to that you know that wasn't gonna make anything happen. Some 35 fangirls fainted even before the show started.

So after waiting for so long, we decided to cross the road to KFC to have dinner. Watched the crowd from across the road but they were still letting a few people in at a time. We decided to give it another try. And when we got there, they let the majority in and almost caused a stampede. Along the way, I think the security also gave up and didn't even try to even ask for a pass.

When we got in, the place was already crowded. People are singing along loudly to music videos. We joined in the fun and sang along to Bad Girl, and even 4minute's Hot Issue and Muzik.

By 9pm, the emcee came out and started the show.

Beast opening performance

As you can see from the pics, I didn't get a very good spot. And since I'm a bit petitte (plus wearing flats), I regretted not wearing heels. My calves are still sore from standing on tiptoe the whole time.
In between songs, there's a game where the emcee picked three girls to show off their 'Shock' dance moves in order to get a group photo taken with the boys.

Half-way thru the show, my camera battery died........... Great timing, right?!.....

So I moved back a bit to a less crowded space, where fan girls were less frantic and no more camera/light-sticks/banner blocking my view. And then I saw a platform at the opposite end of the floor. A few girls were already on the platform, and as I got there the view was sooooooooooo much better. I can see the boys VERY clearly from there. If I had known the spot from the beginning I would've gotten better shots than these sucky, blurry pics. Why, oh, why did the battery died on me???

After performing Bad Girl and Mystery. The boys said their goodbyes and left the stage. I quickly grabbed my sister, got out and left to avoid the crowd. We were 2 happy fangirls.

During the show, they did mentioned that they'll be back in Korea for one day before going to Japan for another showcase. After that they'll be working on their third mini album. AWESOME.

Now, just please come back here again for a concert, please..............

Two weddings and a vacation

Mood malas dah datang.
Let me rephrase that. I'm always lazy, and on very rare occassions I would be super duper busy to actually make up to the times that I was lazy.

So, here's a summary of what I've been doing the last few weeks.
First, Dira's wedding at her parents' home in Bukit Rambai. We (Nurin, Syud & I) stayed there for one night. And moved to a homestay/inn for another night. Forgot to take pictures but it was really nice & comfortable. Thanks to Dira & family for your hospitality.

Second, Sirnah's wedding. Also at her parents' home, but this time in Jasin, Melaka. This time I went with Huda, and stayed there for one night. I was impressed at how huge the compound is. They set up A LOT of tents for the kenduri. The food was delicious and I believe I gained a few kilos after the wedding. Thanks, Sirnah! For letting us be part of your special day. Please say thanks to your family as well. We really felt at home. Congrats, darling!

Then, last weekend, I went to Port Dickson with my family for a much anticipated vacation. Well, I wasn't really anticipating, but I felt such a relief to have this break from office and everything that had happened the last few months. I actually didn't realize how much I needed the break. All six of us (excluding nenek) got on the banana boat ride. It was really fun. And we also went to the PD ostrich farm that was not far from the condo. Sorry, Iza. Nanti kau balik M'sia, kita pegi lagi yer! hehehee...

And this weekend, as much as I wanted to go see Beast in KL, I just wanna go home. Catch up with K-Pop gossips, stay up late watching World Cup, play a little GH:WT, and do 3 weeks worth of laundry(!!!!). The years is cathing up on me. Afterall, I am already 27 this month.
But, who cares anyway, age is just a number, right? Right?

p.s. I'm looking for room-mates. So, if you know of any friends who's looking for a house in Taman Desa, please, please let me know, ok?!

Another Gmarket spree... whee~~

Actually, I'm soooo pissed off with this spree.
Anything that could go wrong, went totally wrong this time around.
First, I have to put in my order more than 7 times for it to go through. These orders simply got cancelled (still no idea why), or just gave me errors.
Second, it got held by customs. And I have to pay a hundred and seventy plus ringgit for tax and duties. Aaaaaarghh~~~~
Third, the seller sent me the wrong shoe design. I actually ordered a different design, but they sent me this frigging sandal, the type that I don't normally wear. Lucky it's the same size. At least I can still wear it.

But anyways, not everthing is bad. I'm still quite happy that the sneaker-like home slippers is sooooo cute. It's really comfy and I think it's really worth it. Dira just told me that she wanted to order it in the next spree. hehehehehe...

I broke our toilet's wash basin!!! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...
Kejadian berlaku hari Selasa lepas. It was an accident waiting to happen, actually. The backing that was holding the basin up was really loose. Sebelum ni dah pernah jatuh 2, 3 kali tapi sempat pegang. But this time, memang tak boleh diselamatkan lagi dah. Lucky it didn't fell on my feet.
And a little reminder to all, the wash basin is not exactly the right thing to hold on to if you're trying to keep yourself from slipping from the wet and slippery bathroom floor. Some RM400-worth lesson I learned.

p.s: Plumber tu pun geleng kepala pelik cemana wash basin tu boleh pecah. Macamlah aku ni suka2 je nak pecahkan benda alah tu. Cis...
