If you don't know either you have got to go check them out. 2 huge influential bands from the 90's and Tuesday right here on Evolution the lead singer, Ryan Dahle, is going to be talking about his new solo album. It airs @ 9:05 and if you don't get a chance to check it out you can find it in the podcasts!! Trust me, you don't want to miss it!

So I got to interview DJ and Tamara from Familia for Making Contact tomorrow. It was an amazing interview and they played an acoustic version of one of their songs and it is worth listening too. So since the Canucks are playing early this Thursday we are moving Evo Ingo up a few hours!

We'll be starting the game at about 2pm AND we're gonna give away a Jersey...a hockey jersey...of an awesome team....

More Pancakes!!!!!!!

Penny and I were up bright and early today and were at the United Way Pancake Breakfast in the NE 4 building. It was alot of fun. Alot of people came out and the staff were in Halloween costumes. We then went and drove the cruiser around the Burnaby and Vancouver boarder. Then we came back to the station and finished filming our promo video.

Thats it for the promo team this week. It was alot of fun!!

We will be handing our promo torches to Joanna and Mitch who willbe be your next weeks promo team.

EVO-INGO and Pancakes

EVO-INGO went really well today. We had alot of returrn players, wich we love. I just want to give a shout out to Kathrine and her table of friends that you for always bening there. And Catlin's table thank you for comming again too. We really appreciate it. Next week EVO- INGO will start at 2:00 so its right before the hockey game.

Tomorrow me and Penny will be at a pancake breakfast in fornt of NE4 starting at 7:30.

Latst nifte was alot of fun Penny and I were at the BCIT info night. we talked to alot of people about Evolution and gave away De Dutch certificates and Burnaby express tickets.

Evo-Ingo was preeeeetty rad this evening! I would suggest listening to Phoenix, MSTRKRFT, and Malajube for next week. I know they are funny words, but they pop up on them Evo-Ingo cards a ton!

TOMORROW SUPER EARLY (6:45am-onward!) is the United Way Pancake Breakfast in front of NE 4, Jenny and myself will be there! Please come smile at us. Don't even talk to us, just flash a lil grin or two.

I also tried the falafel at Professor Mugs and it is scrumptious.

This week's promo vid will be a treat. (SO tempted to make a lame trick or treat joke. I won't. I can control myself) For real! Jenny and I will post it up in the next few days.

I am getting all fired up to host Evo-Ingo this week, giving away stuff is quite fun...even if I kind of want to win the prizes as they keep escalating in super-ness each week.

Eeek! Gotta throw together a CD for the Pancake breakfast at NE4 on Friday - tasty way to support the United Way, much?

Hey!!!

We've rounded up some awesome prizing for Evo-Ingo this week! We've have De Dutch GC's, Professor Mugs GC's AND a hockey jersey from a Vancouver team!

All you have to do is come down to Professor Mugs this Thursday and hang out with us from 4-7. We'll give you a bingo card and you just have to listen to some tunes!

Sounds pretty easy! Winning isn't everything - it's a riot to play and you can hang out with us evolutionaries! Jenny Lee, Penny, Mitch and I will be hanging out this Thurs.

Burnaby Express success!

The Burnaby Express cruised to a 4-1 win over rival Victoria this past Sunday and Evolution was there calling the game!

The win snapped a 4-game losing streak for the Express, who started the season with an astounding 5-0-1 record.

Burnaby now sits 6th in the Coastal Conference standing at 7-9-0-2, but will look to extend their winning streak on Friday against Penticton.

Catch our promotions team duo of Penny and Jenny this week to score some tickets and cheer the E's on!

Jenny and myself went a-journeyin' around Burnaby today, hitting Brentwood, Holdom Sky Train station, the Heights, and the Burnaby Express street hockey game on campus. Those boys know how to put some speed on a little orange ball, man!

We are up to our ear lobes in prize-iness...DeDutch gift certs, "The Box"-themed gear (tune into DYLAN LEARD's MAKING CONTACT next week to hear the CAST of that flick talk shop!!!) and oodles more!

We would really like to give this stuff to YOU! Help us do that - email email email!!!!
