Australian lads ROGERTHAT record two live songs @ Evolution 107.9!!!

Tis' the season for touring bands. Long hours on the road, fast food, and lots of shows.

I caught wind of this band from Australia called ROGERTHAT as soon as I hit up they're myspace I was instantly hooked.

This transcendent band combines reggae, psychedelic rock with blues and have just released they're new full length album 'The Desert's Call '

They first kicked off they're Canadian tour in Vancouver at Richards on Richards with the crowd pleasers from Victoria, Current Swell.

**Fortunately, they made a quick pit-stop in the moon bus and recorded a couple of acoustic diddy's 'Greenroom' and 'Somewhere Between'.

Evolution is Back

After a few frustrating weeks Evolution is back in shape.

Our transmitter tower apparently had a few birds living a top. Being the true heroes they are, a few of your favourite Evolutionaries pulled on their gum boots and headed up to see the world. After a few bouts with the birds, our signal is now going strong.

Thank you to all those who stuck out the rough patch.

Occupational Safety People Know Things

Carlos and I just got back from the North American Occupational Safety Hazards fair at the Great Hall. Please please please don't do anything at your job without proper safety equipment...this includes ear plugs! We can't have you losing your hearing on us. Uh-uh.

We've been passing out cards for lunch - free food is fantastic - so I would suggest knowing the names of one or two bands that Evolution plays!

I am looking waaaay forward to Epic! Sustainable Living Expo on Friday! We will be handing out Canadian Tire gift certs so you can buy some green-er stuff after being inspired by all the crazy ideas at the expo!

Carlos and I are running around downtown, east van, and Burnaby. I guess the word must be out on the yummyness of Flying Wedge 'za. It got a bit frenzied on Main street this morning when we started passing out Flying Wedge gift cards!
