Welcoming another new listing from Sara Rhodes' Autumn Road Farm in Illinois. Zoolander is a straight-forward and extremely forgiving horse that loves jumping and is great at helping riders move up. He will leave long or short, help his rider out of trouble, and has seen plenty of mistakes in his career. He is super easy to turn and holds his speed in reserve until his rider is ready to use it. Zoolander is not spooky and does not need to see the jumps before showing. His current owner is off to college in the fall, he's ready to teach another novice rider how to win in the jumpers.

Another win for Exchange sale horses in Upperville! Slow Dance topped 54 of the country's best young horses to win the Pregreen Hunter Hack at Upperville this week. He was also 3rd in the Pre-Green O/F, ribboned out of 120+ horses in two Local Hunter classes, and pinned 4th of 23 in the Adult Amateur Hunters (so far!). Kim rode Omar BZ & Dark Chocolate to both tricolors in the High Performance Hunters, and was also Champion in the 3'3" section on Jill Schmidt's Undercover. She was then 1st in the $5,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby on Carolyn Abram's Omar BZ and 5th on Cynthia Bulwicz's Cyril, while Cynthia took the reins herself to pilot Philadelphia to 2nd Place in the Derby. A memorable season officially wrapped up for Select Sport Horses and their news-making filly Arbor Day at the 2012 USEF Awards Banquet on Friday. Trainer & handler Brandon Gibson accepted accolades for the stunning chestnut "Cherry", who topped all 1, 2 & 3 year olds in the country to capture the USEF Grand Hunter Breeding Championship and top honors as the USEF Horse of the Year in the Yearling Hunter Breeding section. Cherry leapt into the national spotlight as the Best Young Horse at Devon earlier this year, the first non-Kenny Wheeler entry to take the title in two decades, and also earned top honors as the USHJA Zone IV Horse of the Year. With only a week or two together, Alex piloted Symphony to Small Junior Hunter ribbons at Capital Challenge, Pennsylvania National, Washington International and the Alltech National Horse Show.
