TJ McCue makes 4 great points. First prioritize your tasks. Then single task everything you do. Apparently when you do one thing at a time, you can preform more efficiently. Sorry all you ADHD people McCue just destroyed your arguments. “Next to finally” (Quoting GWB) keep that email empty… ROTFL???? Yeah I thought the same thing, but it does help reduce stress. Finally limit your media intake. Take your grandpa’s old WWII rifle and lay to waste upon that telly. Actually that will be my fifth point. When ever possible burn and destroy anything you do not need. Get all primal on your useless stuff. I myself have a laundry list of horror stories to list off. From all of the bad stories of terrifying bosses we have to ask ourselves ‘what is a good boss?’ In this article Hannah Howard talks about how to be the ‘good boss’.</p> <p>First she states that we must be crystal clear when we communicate. That means learning your audience and how they respond to your speaking style. Then she states that you should empathize with your workers. Note the difference between sympathizing and empathizing. People want to feel that their needs are being understood, so that means it is your job to understand them. Finally she states that you need to focus on solutions. Bosses who only see problems stay in middle management for a reason.
