We're scheming with the gang over at Midriff Records for a night of rock at Precinct. Union Square is the place to be on the 25th. During the day, it's the annual Fluff Festival celebrating the sugary marshmallow treat in a jar invented in Somerville. And then later that night it's all about the rock and roll down at Precinct.

Apple’s new social network for music: Ping

As soon as we heard about Ping, Apple's new social network for music we created an account for Exploit Boston! While the first bunch of musicians with official profiles on Ping are mainstream performers, there's an opportunity to also connect with fans of Boston bands, too. It isn't obvious yet how bands can officially join Ping so for now, music fans can create accounts. Boston bands should seriously consider Ping. All music fans who join Ping have already given Apple their credit card information to purchase music they discover on Ping.

Marina and The Diamonds perform special afternoon set at Ames Hotel with WFNX

Marina & The Diamonds landed in Boston today for a sold-out show at the newly remodeled Paradise Rock Club.
