Here she is only minutes old.

When we went home, Abigail jumped for joy exclaiming Baby Anna!

We’ll have a shoot of her and Abigail coming.

Because of your orders, we donated over $750 in items to compassion international this year!

That included

• 10 chickens
• 1 cow
• 2 “survive to age 5″ immunization kits
• 3 “safe water for life” safe water systems
• 1 “$100 small business launch for moms”
• 3 sets of vaccinations
• 1 medical checkup
• 2 mosquito nets

I was driving east on Scenic Dr. crossing Sterling Ave. in Peoria when a pleasant octogenarian’s front left bumper made contact with my left rear wheel and bumper.  Fortunately, as far as I know, neither party was injured.  All the camera gear was fine too.

Beau was my faithful worker for this wedding, and he came to the rescue and was able to get pictures at the hair salon in my absence while my I talked to Rachel at home, my insurance agent, the police officer, the other party involved in the accident, the other party’s insurance agent, and my dad who left work to bring me a back-up vehicle within 30 minutes of the collision.  Goodtimes.

After wiping the tears of joy from their eyes after the veil went in, the bridesmaids took some pictures on their phones.

Beau headed to where the guys were readying themselves…

While I was at the church with the ladies.

Sure it was January 6, but the temperature for Central Illinois reached 57 degrees allowing us to do the first look pictures outside.

Then we all headed downtown to enjoy the sun.

Back to St. Vincent de Paul for the wedding ceremony.

And on to the Gateway Building for the reception.

Some gentle cake feeding.

And a full dance floor despite going DJ-less.

This picture was one of Beau’s favorite that he took during the day.  Mine too.  It’s just so full of fraternal manliness.

We’re so glad we were able to shoot this wedding for you guys.  With medical school for me, baby coming, and athletic directing for Beau, it was a wonderful change of pace and a beautiful day.

Update:  I was trying out some new editing software and exported the pictures in the wrong color space.  It’s corrected now.

Back in 2006, our second wedding was his sister Rebekah.  We were there to take pictures of him as he lit candles for her but found other uses for the candlesnuffer.

Here’s a quick candid of him in all his youthful glory on an elevator.

Rebekah’s wedding went well.  So, in the summer of 2007, we were there to take his senior pictures.

The rock star of those senior pictures went on to join Two Cent Offering after high school.  We were there in 2008 too.

Then in 2009, one of his bandmates, Keith married Becky.  We were there in the morning when Jacob served Nelson an Iced Americano at Starbucks before the wedding, then suited up for his role next to Keith.

One of my personal favorite looks he has pulled off over the years.

2010 was our year off from Jacob.  Looking back through the archives I don’t think we took any.

But don’t worry.  We were there in 2011 when Jacob needed engagement pictures after proposing to his long-time girlfriend Teresa.

And, finally, in our first shoot of 2012, we were there when Jacob first turned and saw his beautiful bride on their wedding day.

Congratulations.  It has been a privilege growing as photographers with you in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011, and 2012.
