The Texas Instruments eXpressDSP Critical Bug Fix Release Notification RSS feed highlights any product releases that contain fixes for defects considered exceptionally severe. To qualify for posting on this feed, a defect must typically cause a user’s embedded application to fail in a difficult to detect or debug manner. Examples of such defects would include silicon errata, race conditions in an operating system scheduler, or bad code generation. Generally fixes for problems such as host tool crashes will not be announced on this feed. Processors with 64x+(TM) cores include the TMS320C645x, TCI648x, TMS320DM644x and TMS320DM643x. If earlier versions of DSP/BIOS(TM) EXC module encounter this, they will log the bogus exception and then halt the CPU.
