			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Improving eyesight can be a long process. Inf act, from my experience, most people fail simply because it requires persistence. Daily progress is often minute, causing most people simply assumed eye exercises don&#8217;t work. In this post, I would like to give you 5 tips on how to not only make the most of every vision improvement session you take part in but also motivate you to go on.</p>
<ol>
<li>If you&#8217;re suffering from mild myopia and have only started wearing glasses, this tip alone could potentially reverse your condition. What is it? Stop wearing glasses! Eye exercises are rendered useless if you continue to wear glasses because you&#8217;re giving your eyes a chance to relearn how to see. Glasses are also a source of strain because it is designed to help you see a certain distance away&#8230; yet most of us use it to see close distance objects such as the TV or the monitor.</li>
<li>Keep track of your progress. Purchase an eye chart (a simple Google search will show you dozens of place that sell them) and test your eyesight weekly. Don&#8217;t track daily progression because you probably will not see much progress &#8211; making you lose the motivation to continue doing eye exercises. Weekly record, on the other hand, should show some progression (small they maybe) and keep you motivated.</li>
<li>Create a habit of healthy vision. Do your sessions at the same time every day and try to make it as enjoyable as possible. Doing something at the same time every day causes your brain to develop a pattern and make you stick to it. To make it more enjoyable, you may want to turn on the air-conditioner (if it&#8217;s hot), play your favorite music and even burn some scented candles if that&#8217;s your thing.</li>
<li>Contrary to popular belief, telling other people about your goals do not motivate you to achieve it (latest research have shown this) so keep this to as little people as possible. Telling other people may attract insults and your natural desire to succumb to social pressure may make you to stop. Tell what you&#8217;re doing only to people who are supportive.</li>
<li>Lastly, don&#8217;t ignore the power of rewards. If you&#8217;ve religiously done the eye exercises to improve eyesight, then reward yourself every week. I get myself a nice hour-long massage but it can be anything you want. Better still, you can make a bet with someone who care for you &#8211; if you don&#8217;t miss any session, he/she will have to give you the reward you want but if you do miss one, you&#8217;ll have to give him/her whatever he/she wants.</li>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In this article, I&#8217;m going to introduce to one of the most enjoyable vision training ever invented. Trust me, once you&#8217;ve done it once, you&#8217;ll always be looking forward to it everyday. It&#8217;s called sunning.</p>
<h3>What is sunning?</h3>
<p>Sunning is exactly what its name suggest &#8211; you expose yourself to the sun. Well, in this case, your eyes. <em>What? Are you crazy?</em></p>
<p>Before you leave, hear me out.</p>
<p>All you do, when you sun, is you close your eyes and face the <strong>morning&#8217;s gentle sun rays</strong>. Here in Sydney Australia, I like to do it at about 6am in the summer. During winter, it&#8217;s more like 8am. Note: Sunning is a relaxing exercise, so if you find your eyes hurt, stop! When you sun, slowly and gently swing your head from left to right, much like you&#8217;re saying no to the sun. Do this at least 10 minutes once a day. You can do it one more time when the sun is about to set.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s crucial that you think of nothing that will stress you when you sun. This includes your work or your personal matters. Set an alarm clock if need be so you don&#8217;t worry about how long you&#8217;ve been sunning.</p>
<p>Initially, you&#8217;ll find yourself unable to stay still for long. But once you&#8217;ve set the habit, you wouldn&#8217;t believe how great it is both your eyes and to your stress.</p>
<h3>Why is sunning beneficial?</h3>
<p>While too much sun exposure is certainly harmful, both your skin and to your eyes, the lack of it is equally so.</p>
<p>Much like your skin requires the sunlight to produce vitamin D (more people die from vitamin deficiency than skin cancer), your eyes too require frequent exposure to the sun to operate healthily. No one knows why, but when you try sunning, you&#8217;ll notice the gentle relaxing effect of the sun on your eyes.</p>
<p>In fact, sun exposure has often been used as a therapy by psychologists for people who suffers from depression or merely stressed out. Try it out yourself and experience the difference.</p>

<p>Just like any lasting change, natural vision improvement is all about changing your lifestyle and your habits. And as you may already know, changing your habits is not an easy feat. Most people simply give up when they don&#8217;t see results in a few days.</p>
<p>In this article, I want to share 3 tips to help you improve your eyesight. But more importantly, I also want to share 3 things that is responsible for my own personal success stories. Ready? Here goes.</p>
<ol>
<li>This is probably the most difficult thing for you to change&#8230; especially if you have been wearing your glasses for a prolonged period of time like I did. But if you want to improve your eyesight naturally, you have to stop wearing your glasses&#8230; or at least significantly cut down the amount of time you wear it! If you totally can&#8217;t see without one, then get a weaker one. Your glasses are designed to see objects a certain distance away (remember your eye tests?) and wearing them while you engage in close distance activities such as reading a book and looking into a monitor, deteriorates our eyes further. Plus, you have to give your eyes a chance to re-learn how to see clearly if you want to improve your eyesight!</li>
<li>Believe it or not, stress plays a crucial in regulating your eye&#8217;s function. The more stressed out you are, the more strain you place on your eyes and the more your vision will thus deteriorate.</li>
<li>Do eye exercises! Eye exercises simulate good vision habits and doing them religiously for a prolonged period can allow you to replace the your bad vision habit. The <a href="http://www.naturaltherapyarticles.com/rebuildyourvisionprogram">Rebuild Your Vision</a> program&#8217;s eye exercises are what I did when I was starting out and I definitely recommend you check them out.</li>

<p>As you try to implement these tips, you&#8217;ll quickly realize that it&#8217;s not easy. Not wearing your glasses feels weird. Doing eye exercises when you can&#8217;t see immediate results can be dampening. So here&#8217;s my suggestion to keep you going.</p>

<li>Surround yourself with supportive friends&#8230; and lose those that aren&#8217;t. Trust me, it&#8217;s hard enough to keep your doubts down, letting someone talk you out of it will definitely do the job.</li>
<li>Keep a log of your progress. There&#8217;s a table that comes with the <a href="http://www.naturaltherapyarticles.com/rebuildyourvisionprogram">Rebuild Your Vision program</a> so make sure you use them. Your improvements will not be noticeable in the beginning. They are small and unless you keep a log of your progress, you&#8217;ll definitely give up.</li>
<li>If you miss your eye exercises, don&#8217;t beat yourself up! Forget about it and continue the next day. I see people who, for some reason, missed a schedule and give up! To be honest, I was one of those people myself! So yeah, I know what&#8217;s I&#8217;m talking about here.</li>

In this article, I want to introduce you to 2 vision therapies that I think should at least try out &#8211; even if you&#8217;re a skeptic. Even if you don&#8217;t see any vision improvement, you&#8217;ll notice the difference these &#8220;<a title="eye exercises" href="http://naturaleyecorrection.com/eye-exercises/" target="_blank">eye exercises</a>&#8221; do to your mind and body as a whole.</p>
<p>The first vision therapy I want to introduce you to is called &#8220;palming&#8221;. What it does is reduces stress on your whole body &#8211; including your eyes. Stress, as Dr Bates theorizes, is responsible for vision deterioration. He called it &#8220;strain&#8221;.</p>
<p>The latest brain research showed that the state of your mind do affect your physical body. For example, as you&#8217;re under stress, you tend to get frustrated, you tensed up your muscles, your heart beats faster and your blood pressure rise. Some researchers have even found that if you visualize doing exercises&#8230; wait for it&#8230; you can physically grow bigger muscles!</p>
<p>That&#8217;s why this first &#8220;vision exercise&#8221; I&#8217;m going to introduce to you has more to do with your brain than your eyes. It&#8217;s called palming and its objective is to relieve your mind of the chronic stress you&#8217;re under. Here&#8217;s how to palm:</p>
<p>Close your eyes, relax and breathe deeply. Place your palm on top your eye lid but don&#8217;t press on your eyes. As long as there&#8217;s no light reaching your retina, then you&#8217;re all set. Imagine a scenery that&#8217;s most relaxing to you. Note that this would be difficult at first simply because most people have lost their ability to imagine (this is more common than you think it is ). If you could relax every day, I believe your eyesight would quickly recover, Unfortunately, most of us simply do not have that luxury, so this is the next best thing.</p>
<p>Palm 3 times a day, 10 minutes every time and you&#8217;ll soon its effect. Even if you don&#8217;t see any vision improvement, you&#8217;ll no doubt notice that this &#8220;vision therapy&#8221; has a relaxing effect on your whole body and you&#8217;ll feel refreshed and re-energized once you&#8217;re done.</p>
<p>The second vision exercise I want to introduce you also has more to do with your mind than your eyes. Again, close your eyes and palm. This time, imagine you&#8217;re holding a really long rope. You&#8217;re holding one end of the rope and the other end is tied to a palm tree across the ocean on the next island.</p>
<p>Focus your attention on your end of the rope, breathe deeply and when you let go of your breath, simultaneously shift your focus along the rope onto the other end. Repeat for ten minutes.</p>
<p>I recommend you get a timer when doing these two vision exercise. Because if when you&#8217;re doing them, you&#8217;re also worrying about the time, it would drastically reduce the effectiveness of the vision therapy.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Do you want to rebuild your vision naturally? In this article, I want to introduce you to a simple, yet extremely effective eye exercise that you can try out. Paradoxically, what makes the eye exercise effective is not the act in itself. It&#8217;s the concept behind.</p>
<p>If you don&#8217;t get the concept behind the exercise, then it wouldn&#8217;t matter how many times you do this exercise, you&#8217;ll have no luck rebuilding your vision. This is something most natural vision improvement courses fail to cover.</p>
<p>For that reason, I want to explain to you what makes eye exercises effective. The term &#8220;eye exercise&#8221; is a little misleading. Eye exercises are not meant to &#8220;strengthen your eye muscles&#8221;. On the contrary, they are meant to relax them! The reason why they are called &#8220;eye exercises&#8221; is because they are something you&#8217;d do over and over again. It&#8217;s like &#8220;breathing exercises&#8221;!</p>
<p>Repetition is the mother of all skills. When you repeatedly perform eye exercises, you inevitably pick up the principles behind natural vision improvement. When you learn how to see correctly, you&#8217;ll then naturally rebuild your vision.</p>
<p>When you learn how to see correctly, you&#8217;ll realize that sight, unless what you&#8217;re accustomed to, is mostly an unconscious habit. So when you&#8217;re doing this eye exercise I&#8217;m about to introduce you to, I want you to <strong>relax and take it easy</strong>.</p>
<p>The eye exercise is called &#8220;palming&#8221;. Here&#8217;s how to palm:</p>

<li>Sit on a conftable chair and place your elbow on the table.</li>
<li>Close your eyes and place your palm on them.</li>
<li>Do not press on your eye balls. The point of palming is to block out light rays.</li>
<li>When you&#8217;re total darkness, I want you to imagine a relaxing scenery. It can be anything you want.</li>
<li>Remember to set a timer &#8211; preferably 10 &#8211; 15 minutes. If you don&#8217;t, you&#8217;ll worry about the time instead of focusing on your visualization.</li>
<li>When you palm, remember to breathe deeply.</li>
</ol>
<p>Palming can be boring in the beginning but as you get used to it, you&#8217;ll find yourself looking forward to it. It&#8217;s meant to relax your eyes so if your environment is not conducive (such as when it&#8217;s hot and stuffy) to palm, don&#8217;t do it.</p>

<p>Who to trust?</p>
<h3>The Limitations of Scientific Research</h3>
<p>There was a time when even the most intelligent people in the world thought the world was flat &#8211; and thus their research all revolve around the assumptions that the world&#8217;s flat.</p>
<p>Even Aristotle, back in his days, taught that heavier matter drop faster than would lighter ones &#8211; of course, we now know this to be untrue.</p>
